So happy to have a location closer to home! You can select a variety of broths and house sauces in addition to the sauce bar! Great options for the AYCE the whole family can enjoy.

Seafood, Beef and Fish Cake set! Fresh! Fresh!! Fresh!!! Vegetables are fresh too! It tastes best and fresh!!!

Delicious! Fresh!! Healthy!!! Tasty!!!! These're Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth to me! Every vegetable is very fresh-- It's very good! Basic soup itself tastes good without any other sauce like my mom's soup. I can trust foods in Gom Shabu Shabu in Duluth! Also the sauce tastes very special! It has five different types. I prefer mild one. It's perfect for me. Using sauce bar, I can make my own sauce as well. Anyway It's best place if you want to try healthy, tasty and special food! :)

I like this place because they make the broth with purple cabbage. The variety isn't too big but it's quite nice for a cold day! I get either the premium beef, fresh seafood and I also tried the lamb which I enjoy. They make the sauce for you which has a peanut sauce base to it. The workers can make you the best combination of various spiciness for your sauce. If you have a peanut allergy just let them know and they won't mix it in! The premium beef is cuts of sirloin! So it's definitely worth the $1-$2 extra! The cut is also a little thicker! The price is about $14-$18 for each type of hotpot. You can also add in extra things for few more dollars each. Always get the porridge at the end! They also give you as much bean sprouts as you want! They mix in a bowl of rice with the left over soup with an egg! It's so good if you get the seafood one! It tastes just like abalone porridge. The service is a little bizarre. The lady workers make hot pot porridge the best but sometimes the owner will come and help you out if you're struggling. The younger workers are overworked and confused so it can be a little slow. Just be patient.

The meat at Gom Shabu Shabu is really fresh, excellent, and expensive (because of the small portions). I'm a fan of the dipping sauce, which the server makes for you. Also, the host looks like he just walked out of a K-pop music video. I wish all men would wear slim cut suits like him. Note: Shabu shabu is basically the same as Chinese hot pot. Expect to spend at least $15 per person.

This place is perfect for a cold and rainy day. The hot pot is nice and hot with plenty of vegetables and meat.

This place was great! The experience was awesome! They have individual pots for everyone. The sides that comes with the order is enough to fill you. Great service as well. They came and made sure we had enough water in our cups and pot. The food served was very fresh!

I usually go to Mini Hot Pot but today I felt like trying something new. Gom Shabu Shabu is located on Satellite Blvd. pretty spacious inside compare from the look on the outside. I ordered the shrimp and beef ($1 extra for the premium beef). There were like 5 or 6 pieces of shrimp, plate of veggies (1 mushroom, korean cabbage, Bok Choy, corn, sausage, imitation crab stick, rice cake, clear noodle, and pumpkin slice. I ordered dumplings $1.99 for 3pcs) as a side and porridge. There is a bar for you to make sauces but if it's your first time, you can ask the server to make it for you. I chose mild sauce. Sauce includes lot of green onions, garlic and their special sauce. I added extra sirracha because it was too mild for me. I feel that broth is bit blend but as you cook the broth more, it becomes more flavorful. Best part of the hot pot is the porridge. Server will come and make a porridge with your left over broth. It was delicious!!! Service is good, there is a bell for you to ring for service.

    Look at that meat!

Also, all the meats we had were really great--they were all flavorful, tender, and beautifully marbled. Broths (we had spicy miso and mala) were also very flavorful, more so than most shabu/hot pot places I've had in Georgia. The thing that drives it all home though is the service. You have excellent servers who are considerate and know when to step away and give you some time, or when to come in and ask if you needed anything else. Our server was friendly, empathetic, and an absolute star. Also, the runners and bussers come in quickly and silently when attending to your table, yet are friendly when responding, well versed on the menu offerings, and quick to take action with anything you needed. I have literally never seen such top tier service at any Asian establishment, let alone restaurants in general. We will be back for the service alone; they contributed greatly to the overall experience so props to management for their excellent employee hiring/training.

What a steal for all of the food options! They have an amazing sauce bar, fridged items, skewers and sides. I personally liked the skewered meats better than the thinly sliced meats. Everything was clean, fresh and restocked well. Both of the broths we got were flavorful; spicy broth (less spicy) and pork bone broth. The customer service was also amazing. The guy kept checking in on us and keep wanting to ensure we try all the right things and had enough food. I will be back and will be bringing all of my friends and family!

3.5 Stars (I wish Yelp allowed half stars!)…read more Overall, this place was good. It offers a fun and different dining experience since everything is centered around hot pot and skewers. The biggest pro is the value. Dinner is $34.99 AYCE and lunch is $24.99 AYCE, which I think is very reasonable. Another huge plus is that there is no time limit. We ended up staying for over 4 hours just eating, chatting, and catching up. Not once did the staff try to rush us. They were actually only about 30 minutes from closing, and they still let us relax without making us feel uncomfortable. That level of hospitality was definitely appreciated. For the hot pot, you can choose multiple soup bases. Some premium broths cost extra, and if you want four different broths, there's an additional $12.99 charge. Personally, I think two broths are more than enough. With four sections, there's barely any room left to cook your meats, vegetables, and noodles. We tried the Tom Yum and Tomato broths. They tasted surprisingly similar since they're both tomato-based, but in my opinion, the Tom Yum had more flavor. Their tomatoes tasted like straight up tomato sauce. We also sampled the mushroom broth, which was pretty good, although it does have a noticeable herbal flavor from the Chinese herbs they add. One thing I really liked was the self-serve setup. There's a large sauce bar where you can customize your dipping sauce, along with a cold bar offering appetizers, fruit, and desserts. They also have a freezer stocked with several ice cream flavors and a refrigerator full of complimentary drinks like honey pomelo tea, citrus tea, sweet tea, honey green tea, and pear juice; all included with the AYCE price. The refrigerated food section is well stocked with vegetables, noodles, meats, seafood, dumplings, fish paste, pork paste, shrimp paste, and plenty of skewers. The skewers were tiny because each one usually only had a single small piece of food on it. I guess that's the point....it keeps everything from getting lost in the hot pot! They also provide a rolling cart beside your table for extra space, which is actually really useful because your table fills up quickly. Overall, while nothing completely wowed me, the price, variety, and relaxed atmosphere make it worth visiting. I'd definitely come back when I'm really hungry and just want to chow down with friends for a few hours.

Each experience is just as enjoyable as the first, and the quality remains consistently impressive. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is also a wide variety of ingredients available to customize your bowl. Since everything is priced by weight, I recommend selecting only as much as you are prepared to eat. Having tried every option on the menu, my top recommendation is the spicy hot pot beef broth. It is extremely flavorful, though customers should be mindful when choosing their spice level, as even the medium option can be quite spicy. My second favorite is the dry spicy mix, shown in my photo. After experimenting with the different broths, this became my preferred choice. However, it is best suited for those who enjoy a drier style, and the spice level tends to feel more intense compared to the soup-based options. My third choice is the tomato beef broth, which was my least favorite personally. Lastly, the spicy and sour beef broth was acceptable, though it did not particularly appeal to my taste.
