The sweet Thai tea is creamy and the boba nice and firm: clean and bright location. A new place to get my boba fix
I was warned that my drink would have chunky ice in it but when I drank it it was unsatisfying.
My friend and I came here after having dinner nearby in the same plaza. I had been wanting to try this place out, so it was a perfect opportunity since we were already here. The location is tucked away in the corner, right next to CVS and a dentistry. There's a cute stone sitting area right outside in front, if you're feeling the warm sunshine. If not, there's plenty of nice seating inside the shop. There's plenty of parking everywhere - even some Shell chargers for EV if you're lucky enough, right in front. There's cute decoration everywhere with quiet Kpop music playing. After quickly looking through the menu, I went to my go-to and got the brown sugar milk tea with half sugar and regular ice. My friend got the same. We sat down and waited a few minutes before our drinks came out. The drink was good - we both enjoyed our drinks. My friend forgot to ask to have no boba, but I was fine with mine. The boba pearls were a bit harder than I liked, but not too bad. There wasn't much flavor to them, tho. Overall, I liked the drink I got - I think I would have liked it better with less ice next time. The boba pearls were decent, but I'd skip them next time or maybe try one of the other toppings.

Tried a "messy taro latte", which is one of their newer drinks. Nice drink! Fresh taro, good amount of boba and coconut milk (although it's not very coconut forward). For $6.50, excellent value. Would definitely return.

I got the cocoa special with tiramisu foam because I had heard the foam was worth trying. The drink itself tasted like chocolate milk and the foam had a subtle saltiness. It was also caffeine free! I also love the caps they use, I almost dropped my drink in the car but the cap saved me from spilling!!

Recently got the super fruit tea from Tan-Cha and it was a great refreshing treat! Love that it wasn't too sweet at 50% sugar and included large chunks of watermelon, strawberry and slices of lemon and orange. The tea flavor was also pretty strong and helped balance out the sweetness. This location has a plenty of seating which is great if you wanted to stay for a bit. We just got our drink to-go but will definitely be back.

Service on Sunday afternoon was quite slow, only one person was visibly working both cashier and drink making My party of 3 came in at 3 pm for boba on a hot Sunday afternoon for our first time trying out Tan-Cha. I chose the mango cremia drink, as it was too late in the day for me to have caffeine. Their caffeine free drinks are marked with CF, but there were only a few. I settled on the mango cremia not knowing what was in it other than fresh fruit and mango. The fruit was grapefruit or pomelo (not sure) and added a nice little zing in the otherwise very sweet and tasty mango drink - I had ordered it less sweet to begin with. If you want a smooth mango slushie, I'd recommend! It was a hot day, but there was no AC or fans on in the store so it was rather hot inside. Not yet uncomfortable due to the iced drinks, but it would have been better with some airflow.
Tan-cha is my favorite bubble tea. I always order Uji matcha here - you can really taste real matcha! I prefer this location because it's bigger and quieter than the other one. They have WiFi, a lot of table and chairs so people can just hang out or study/work if they wish. This is my go to place for boba!
Pretty good Royal Ceylon milk tea with boba ($7)! It's a cozy place to work as well. The inside is very modern, and the seating is very comfy.
Tried the newly rebranded September Coffee House (formerly Tan-Cha), and it's a great refresh while keeping the essence of what people loved before. You'll still find most of the classic flavors from Tan-Cha, along with some nice additions. They've expanded their menu with new matcha and chocolate-based milk teas and boba options, which are definitely worth trying. The customization options are a big plus--you can tailor your drink exactly how you like it. The ambiance has definitely improved--it feels more open and well-organized now, even though they've kept the same tables and chairs from the Tan-Cha days. It's a nice balance of familiar and refreshed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and service is impressively fast--your drink is ready within minutes even when it's busy. Overall, a solid upgrade from Tan-Cha with more variety, better space, and the same great taste. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! read more
A pristine new coffee shop offering a variety of coffees and teas, September Coffee invites customers to have a drink and stay awhile. Tucked into the corner beside CVS Pharmacy, I drove by September Coffee several times before I managed to find it. While the new shop's sign hadn't gone up yet, the shop felt like a spot for customers to make themselves at home. Soft music played and the space was lit up with decorated Christmas trees. Customers sat at the tables chatting and working. I was in the mood for a boba drink and I asked for a Thai Brulée with Boba, but I was told that the honey boba had run out for the day. So I ordered a Tiramisu Green Milk Tea instead. It wasn't long before my drink was ready to pick up and enjoy. My drink came in Tan-Cha cup, and I took a sip. The cheese cream was thick and luscious and the cocoa dust tickled my throat, capturing the essence of tiramisu very well. The green tea hinted at smooth, green matcha, but the sugar in the drink tilted the drink toward the sweet side. The sweetness crowded out the subtle matcha flavors more than I would have liked. Overall, not bad for a first drink. September Coffee has potential, and the first impressions for drinks could be better. I'll have to return in a few months to see how business is doing and try another drink then. read more

I was eating dinner nearby with my family and I wanted to treat my niece to some milk tea. This place showed up on the map, so we decided to give it a try. The inside of it has ample seating, so it is a nice place to hang and chill out if you like to. The cashier was very helpful to me, answering all my questions I had about their drinks. I eventually opted for the strawberry creamio. Strawberry Creamio: I wanted something fruity and strawberry flavor so this was my try. Honestly, it was just ok to me. It's a strawberry slushy with cheese foam at the top. I added lychee jelly to make it a bit sweeter, which I am glad I did. The strawberry slushy part lacked much flavor and tasted more like ice. It was cold but other than that, didn't get much out of it. My niece got a super fruit tea and that looked more appealing than my drink. Still, it was ok. Overall, I may come back here again and def try something different. read more

Roasted oolong tea was good, boba was fresh. On the sweeter side, I'll get 25% sweet next time for more tea flavor. Lots of 4 top and 2-3 top tables for sitting or even doing work. Outlets at nearly every table. read more

Parking was super easy. The inside of the store is so pretty and clean! The workers were patient and answered any questions ai had and my order came quickly as well. I ordered their Red Jade MIlk Tea with Tiramisu ($6.25) with Boba (+0.75) and I absolutely loved it. Especially the Tiramisu part! It tasted like a Tea based chocolate milk kinda? My friend ordered one of their new menu drink, I think it was called Messy Taro Latte and I didnt like it that much but she did! I think it was light on the sweetness and I prefer my drinks to be sweeter. The taro aspect did taste fresh tho! read more

Where have I been? I had no idea they have opened multiple Tan Cha locations. I always avoided the original Tan Cha in Cupertino although it was so tantalizing; I feared running into the large crowds of fellow boba lovers. Tan Cha's large menu consists of unique items, and it certainly looks so appetizing. I ordered the Uji green milk tea with tiramisu. It was light and refreshing, and the tiramisi was fluffy with some small cookie bits. The price matches other boba spots in the bay, but I feel like at this restaurant, it's actually justified. The inside is also so cute, and there were many families casually catching up together in there. I would love to come again. It definitely brightened my weekend. read more

Stopped here after eating at Kura, it's a smaller boba shop. There was a good amount of seating. I believe I ordered a Thai tea crème brûlée medium sweetness ( I could have gone with less sweetness). Sooooo goood! Writing this review makes me want to go again. read more

Got the Uji Matcha with Cheese Foam and Royal Ceylon tea with Tiramisu! They are two of their most popular drinks for a reason. As a matcha lover, I would definitely get the matcha again and their cheese foam is really good. Came after work around 3pm on a Wednesday, so the store was mostly empty and the barista was very polite and fast to make the drinks. read more

This is literally the best boba in Bay Area according to me!! I don't mind spedning $7-$10 for this cup filled with sugar, syrup, and powdered drinks. I can inhaled in one go, since they're that good. I tried Tan-Cha in every location and oh my, they're all have the same good quality that no other boba shop can beat. There are way too many boba shops around here. But I only go to Tan-Cha for sure. read more

This is a solid boba shop! On a weekday afternoon, they whipped up my order in less than 3 minutes. Boba was pleasantly chewy. The space is airy and they keep it clean. Spacious enough for getting work done or having a chat with friends. The bathroom is available to customers (ask for the code). Tan-Cha is located in a large shopping center, so there's no issues with parking. Will come back if I'm in the area. read more
I love a good quality oolong milk tea and this boba shop delivers just that! I have been to several Tan-Cha locations and this seems to be the one I frequent the most. Always lots of parking, lots of seating inside, AND they are open pretty late! Most of their drinks are $6+ though. My drink recommendations: + Hami Milkshake + Brulee Thai Tea with Boba + Grapefruit Slush + Matcha Slush + Brulee Roasted Oolong Milk Tea + Anything with cheese foam!!! KEEP IN MIND: Their most recent health score was 52 out of 100... That is possibly the lowest I have ever seen from a boba shop! I would give them 5/5 stars if I didn't know they had so many health violations... read more

Tan-Cha has converted me into a foam lover, especially the tiramisu flavored one. I can totally see the hype of this place with all of its creative drinks and it helps that they look pretty too! The service is also pretty fast even when they're busy. Royal Ceylon Milk Tea w/ Tiramisu Puff Cream and Boba: If you want to try a drink here, just get this one. The tiramisu cream flavor is spot on and elevated the milk tea in general. The boba was also the perfect texture to me. The only thing is that with the cream, this drink becomes super rich and it's very filling. Cheezo Grape: I was nervous about getting this one because of the grape flavor, but it was actually really refreshing and didn't taste artificial to me. The cheese foam was the best that I've had and it tastes like an Uncle Tetsu Japanese cheesecake. I liked the grape flavor and the cheese foam separately, but I'm still not sure if I'm sold on how well it tastes together. Overall, really great drinks and the foam is something special at this place! The drinks were really expensive though (~$7+) with foam and boba. read more
