Here & there is on my top 5 favorite coffee spots. Goldfish is a new seafood spot, tried it out yesterday & I loved it. Got a scallop taco & the scallop ceviche. Just be prepared for their hot sauce, felt like I put lip plumper on lol! Some spots moved completely & others were just relocated around the store. All the workers that I have encountered are super nice & helpful no matter how busy it gets. Also I just realized, it is always clean. There's no trash laying around. Love that!

A modern public market in the sunny OC city of Stanton, CA about a beat away from Garden Grove... DJ play the title album by Sublime (1996). An abundance of eateries: Tenori, Shoots, Ramen Nori, Phoholic, LA Street Eats, Kra-Pow, Here and There cafe, Chic Now and Blue Bowl to name a few. Plenty of choices for everyone including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free "nom"tions/options. Anything from Thai, Korean, Japanese, French and Mexican cuisine to American, Comfort Food, Dessert, and beyond. Capo Craft Brewing is the best place for beverages of all types, a full bar, mocktail friendly and a great selection of brews as well as guest craft beers, ciders and seltzers. Lots of seating in various places in the form of tables, chairs, benches, bar area seats, loungers and more. It's very open and fun to navigate. Great shops and stores like 2nd Street, Nail Boss, Skin Design Tattoo, WNTD and others. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Free Wi-Fi!! Great event days and nights: trivia, live DJ sets and karaoke nights. Group friendly. Heated outdoor area. Pick up parking for curbside as well, which I haven't seen at a public market before. Restrooms are modern, with hand dryers next to the faucet and soap dispenser very 3-in-1, all sensory based. Parking is there, but can be a bit of a journey on a weekend, it took us a little time to find some when we first arrived. EV spots available. Lots of great spots for a selfie or group shot. We met some many different people outside of our group: other friends celebrating the week, families and some recent college grads we all congratulated :) Go Class of 2026!! Don't forget the best photo opportunity at K Photo Lavie!! Fun props of all sorts to enjoy, including glasses, hats, signs, etc... I do worry about how often they clean these items... but super fun none the less... just be mindful. Open from 11am until 9pm daily, 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays only, however Capo stays open til 11pm on (Friday, Saturday), which is where we ended the night. Such a fun time Fridaying with some of my favorite Yelp peeps and human beings, Sarah, Alyssa, Miori and Gabe. Highly recommend exploring this poppin' public palace! And with friends #LifeIsBetter #RideIntoRodeo39

Plenty of seating and apparently they have karaoke nights on the weekend. Plenty of parking since it's located in a shopping center. Tried one of the food places near the back. I think the name is as Luk Phat Ky. We got their fried catfish, fried squid, and crispy pork belly. Order at the counter and they give you a number to place at your table. Food is then brought to the table. Everything was fresh and hot. My favorite dish was the fried catfish that came with rice paper, lettuce, and cilantro / you turn it into a wrap. Fish was nice and crispy and good flavor. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area, but wouldn't necessarily made a trip just to come here.

Quoc Thai advertised this place on the radio daily and it was interesting being there. He is good at advertising but the information doesn't match with the actual store deals. Typical. It was OVERWHELMING with so many signs and pictures and stuff every where. It felt disorganized and not clean. Some older folks in there had a strong scent of Eagle oil (dau do xanh) even in passing! There were boba shops, Pho, shaved ice, sea foods, baked Catfish, Thai Food, Chao Long and many more Vietnamese dishes etc. It's definitely perfect for eating in groups and eating late but some vendors were closed and each has their own hours. I tried Hello Cafe and Loopy Loop. I felt overstimulated with signs and pictures and so many options of "deals" but not really "deals". Buy 2 get 1 drinks come out to around $18 so $6 each drink? If two drinks cost $18 - I dont think I want to pay $9 for a drink. Yikes! 50/50 coming back. Parking is plenty in the front.

The pre-marinated meat section was also large and a huge seafood section. However, the produce was not the freshest. The turnover rate is probably less than the smaller stores due to the variety. They have a big parking structure, that is constantly packed with people. There is a constant flow of people coming in and out. When I come here, I enjoy looking at the Korean snack store that recently just expanded. You can get instant noodles and pay for the hot water so you can eat it there! This store is also a souvenir store. Besides this place, the source has fashion stores, bakeries, coffee, pastries, golf, a kid's play center, and more food! Like malls do, they also have a Photo Booth area. Prices vary per shop, but everything is reasonable. The source is cool because it's where small businesses can advertise themself, and Korean culture can thrive. They have a mini night life here alongside celebrating the love of kpop, cosmetics, skincare, and food! I've heard that this place was always hip and fun, and I'm hoping the current reputation exceeds expectations in the near future with all the changes they've been doing!

This is probably the closest place for us to get that Lunar New Year vibe but since we're very familiar with the area, we pretty much finished one lap and then decided to head elsewhere for food. For anyone interested, here are the details: **23rd Annual Lunar New Year Flower Festival** Asian Garden Mall 9200 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683 Dates: 1/29 - 2/15/2026 Flower market vendors: Daily 10AM - 10PM (Located at the main plaza right in front of Asian Garden Mall) Food night market vendors: Thursday-Sunday only, 6PM - 10PM (The food stalls are on the left side as you face the mall) Just a heads-up: the flower market itself is actually pretty small. You can walk through it in one short loop. Vendors sell flowers, red envelopes, Lunar New Year decorations, couplets, hanging ornaments, firecrackers, and some traditional Vietnamese outfits. If you're coming specifically for a big flower market, it's good to manage expectations because it's quite limited. On the left side, there's a short row of food stalls offering grilled meats, seafood, Vietnamese spring rolls, fried snacks, sugarcane juice, steamed corn, grilled corn, and more. The selection is fairly diverse. Since there are regular storefronts right across from the stalls, the area feels lively at night, with temporary tables and chairs set up- definitely has that night market vibe. Most food vendors (like 9 out of 10) don't list prices, so you'll need to ask and they're cash only. If you're expecting a huge flower festival or cheap night market food, you might feel a bit disappointed. Prices are on the higher side, more like special event pricing. That said, it's a once-a-year festive atmosphere, so if you're already there, might as well enjoy it and not overthink the cost. At night, you'll see lots of Vietnamese families coming out together to eat, and there were even aunties and uncles singing and dancing in front of the mall. It was pretty fun to watch. Parking gets very crowded in the evening and can be tough, so street parking nearby and walking over might be easier. The mall itself closes around 7PM, but if you come earlier, it's actually worth spending some time inside. The second floor is split pretty evenly- half of it is clothing shops, and the other half is jewelry stores selling diamonds and gold. I even had my engagement ring resized here before, and the pricing was very reasonable. There's also a food court on the first floor, so if the night market food doesn't appeal to you, you can eat inside the mall, walk across to the Seafood Palace plaza, or head a bit further toward the plaza nearby T & K Supermarket for more dining options.
