Among all of the quotes I collected, I was surprised that not only was there a huge variation in prices, but especially in time. While other shops (many recommended by insurance) said it would take days, even weeks, to repair and replace it, and quoted more expensive, Sam from Good Auto gave me a very reasonable price and told me it could be fixed in just one day so I gave it a try. Good Auto did a good job, the window matched, was repaired within one day as promised, and looked good as new. So far, it's been over a month and the window is still fine. The glass had originally shattered everywhere on the seats and floor and it was nearly all cleaned up. Someone had broken into my car and so they completely shattered my passenger front window. I tried calling various window shops and they all said they couldn't fix it because they didn't have the glass. Called this establishment and spoke with Sam, gave me an estimate on the phone he said he would charge me $195 if I paid cash. I get there and met Sam. I got my headlight glass restored. They had a YELP special for half off so it only cost me $25. For that price I was very very happy! However the gentleman told me that the half off was only supposed to be for windshield replacement. As far as the quality of the work, it was pretty good, not great, IMO. The windshield on my Chevy Blazer was completely shattered, and I had to have the windshield replaced for my car to be in driveable condition. Fortunately, Good Auto Glass has mobile service, so I saved money not having to tow the car almost 13 miles from Huntington Beach to Buena Park. I called very last minute, but they were still able to make it out in half an hour. The guys were extremely sweet, and given the condition of the windshield and that I called so close to closing, they could have refused service to me altogether, but didn't. There were shards and chips of glass everywhere, from the dash to the floor, which made them cringe and gasp a bit when they first saw it, but the guys handled it like pros. They found out that they wouldn't be able to glue the windshield down because the surface they were to glue the windshield onto was dented and wouldn't hold, but told me that once I had that fixed, I could come back and they would finish the job at no extra cost. When they were done, they even vacuumed up as much glass as they could from inside the car for me and told me to be careful driving home. I'm truly grateful for the amazing service these guys offered, all at an awesome price...it was only $165 for everything! (Without the mobile service, Danny had quoted the windshield and installation to be $125.) For whatever reason, if you ever need to have your windshield replaced, I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat! read more

Cheap price, cheap service. You get what you pay for. Replaced a window a couple of weeks ago. The wait wasn't bad. Their price was the lowest of the 5 places I'd called. Why i gave 2 stars is due to the quality of customer service, or the lack of. I took it back 2 weeks later coz I noticed a plastic piece of the door came ajar which I had not noticed prior to the service. The guy at the front started talking defensive and said though the glass has lifetime warranty the work that they did had to be looked at immediately after the service was rendered. 2 weeks wasn't soon enough? He just looked at the door in the parking lot and said he couldn't & wouldn't do anything about it and said it was probably like that prior to their service. He was talking so loud as if he was yelling so much so I just wanted to walk away from him. All he needed to to do was have their tech open the part/door and reassemble it back properly, but he wouldn't do it. Just go to other place and pay $20~30 more for better quality service.
