We test drove a 2001 Ford Expedition; the business owner (TK) let us put 500$ down for him to hold it for two weeks until Pops flew out. We found it a bit strange that we couldn't use a check to pay for the vehicle but debit card was okay. When the plate came, he let us pick it up even though the vehicle isn't in our names. After a few minor fluid (oil, radiator, differential, etc) and part changes (wiper blades, etc), Pops was ready to drive it home. I am writing this review because he made it home safely... cross-country, via the 40 (read: through the desert!) in late July. I went to Carmax on a Monday after work, without an appointment, and they were able to see me right away. Since the quote started online, it was an easy process to get registered by scanning a barcode and answering a few questions at the window. Once they test drove the car, the quote was the same. I was then given a list of instructions for my Tesla to reset it to its original factory settings. Please note that you have to do all the steps, even the step for the associate. Once that was done, I was brought over to talk to one of reps who presented the paperwork to sign. It was minimal and the explanation was clear. My balance due at the bank will be handled by Carmax and I was given the remainder of the profit via check. The process was pretty seamless! I'd definitely come back again if I have to sell my car.

Purchasing a vehicle is not a fast process, it's an ordeal and long process. We had 4 kids with us that day and they got thirsty and asked for water. Jake offered to get them water, what we didn't know is there wasn't any at the dealership. He ran across the street to the gas station and purchased water bottles for the kids. That wasn't all, when we had to sign papers with finance he was outside watching the kids for us. By the time we got done it was late and there was no one available to detail the car for us. Jake went and got some cleaning supplies and cleaned the inside for us and offered us a carwash for a later date. Not only did he work with us on the purchase of a vehicle, he was attentive with our kids. That type of service is hard to come by.
