I have to give some serious kudos to Good Guys Pizza in Chili! They did me a solid with their service it was pick up but it was also done on time and hot and definitely tasted good and hit the spot . They were very pleasant, knew their stuff. They made a mistake in the order of toppings however they made another pizza with the correct order of toppings but that's not the best part, it is that they gave me the one that they made a mistake on for free. So to me that is awesome thing as well as great customer service. But it wasn't just because I got a free pizza out of the deal but because they wanted to get the order right and told me about it upfront. I do highly recommend this business and I will continue to patronize this establishment. read more

I haven't had good guys pizza in quite a while so I wanted to give them a shot again. We ordered a medium pizza with extra cheese and a few sides of bleu cheese which was ready in 20 mins on a Thursday night. The pizza itself was pretty good, I liked the flavor of the sauce and the crust was nicely cooked. I thought $20 for our order seemed pretty high though and maybe thats because I know of other places nearby that charge $27 for a sheet pizza... we felt a little ripped off for what it was. Also the bleu cheese was not good. It tasted really off and we ended up not even eating it. I will say the pizza was good enough not to need it though. All and all pizza was good but prices were too high so we probably wouldn't come back. read more

We order from Good Guys almost every week, and I must say that on the average most weeks our pizza is delicious and our wings too however, sometimes the regular wings with the bone are undercooked or the packaging that it comes in leaks all over. We usually have our pizza and wings delivered and I must say that the delivery people are prompt, kind courteous and efficient. We never have a complaint. Another Sunday another day of eating Good Guys pizza at my childhood home! My parents have been ordering Good Guys every week for say...15 years? Growing up it used to be our Friday dinner go-to! As a family of 6 who treated pizza Fridays like a religion, Good Guys has been consistently excellent since they opened in 2002. There's nothing that really comes close in Chili. We love their cup n char pepperoni and white garlic pizzas. They have a soft crust, perfectly balanced sauce, and don't skimp on the cheese or toppings. The staff is always super kind and they have an amazing large pizza special on Monday and Tuesday. The location is central (in the same plaza as McDonalds, Chili Fitness Center, etc) and, if picking up, you're usually in and out within a matter of minutes. We have been longtime regulars at Good Guys but the last 4 or so orders have shown a decrease in quality overall but increased prices. We called in a pick up order of 3 large steak subs (lightly toasted) and 2 orders of loaded fries. We were told 45min so we showed up at that time but they hadn't even started the fries yet. We ended up waiting over an hour. The order was $72 which is crazy for 3 subs and 2 sides at a takeout pizza joint. Got our order home to find burnt sub bread, the burnt taste made the whole thing taste burnt even after tearing off the really brown pieces. The sandwiches themselves had very little meat in them, more burnt bread than anything. Looks like we'll be on the lookout for a new joint! read more

When he pulled it out it was covered in cheese. I called them up and they wanted me to bring it back to issue a refund. Updating my review from months ago....total UPGRADE!! My new GO TO pizza place!! I can't get enough of you GOOD GUYS!! I'm not sure what happened, but your pizzas have been consistently delish! Love the sauce- spicy, flavorful and you don't skimp OR over do it. You load up the toppings and cook the crust perfectly. I go for your standard large cheese and pepperoni (not a huge fan of NY Style so try the regular crust one) mostly but I do love me some onions from time to time. Stopped in tonight for 2 regular sized subs. 1 a ham & swiss and 1 a turkey & swiss. Very disappointed when I got home to find the meat extremely skimped on, with barely 2-3 pieces on each, almost unable to be seen under the pile of lettuce on stale sub rolls that crumbled as we ate them. It was essentially more like an overpriced lettuce & cheese sandwich. At $8.99 a piece one would expect at least a couple handfuls of meat per sub, on fresh bread. Good Guys is mediocre at best. Woah, I think I found my new favorite pizza spot on the west side! I heard about this place from a friend, stating they offer the hexagon Mexican pizzas from high school years in the cafeteria. I had to go and see for myself. It's true, they have them - and taste just as good as I remember. I ordered 3 this past weekend, and while sitting down to wait for my order to be ready I noticed all of these newspaper articles and clipping showing all of these awards and recognition for best pizza. I figured they had to be good to have this kind of attention, so I went back to the register and ordered myself a slice of regular pizza. Woah, thank God I didn't leave without that slice - it was soooo good! I don't think I have devoured a slice of pizza so quick in my life. Now the size people, we're talking HUGE. Good Guys has very good pizza, wings, subs, and sides. They're my favorite pizza shop in Chili and I order often. The prices are reasonable and similar to other pizza shops in the area. My most-ordered item is their chicken cordon bleu sub, with honey mustard added. The chicken fingers, ham, etc. always taste great, but what makes the sub is the bread. The bread is crispy on the outside, slightly chewy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. (Updated my review from 4 to 5 stars, due to great food and even better consistency... Today these guys forgot how to add. The original total charged to my card was wrong by just a buck and when I called to let them know they became upset after they realized that they charged the incorrect amount. Somehow it is wrong to expect to be charged the correct amount of money. They started getting rude so I decided to cancel my order and the manager refused to refund my money...which was still more than the original price should have been. It should have been no big deal to fix it but they would not. The manager told me that I was "talking shi*" to him and hung up. Nice. So we didn't get any food but they still want to keep my money that wasn't even for the correct amount in the first place? Too bad they can't live up to their name. I suppose the fact they are located in a dilapidated building in a crumbling plaza should have given us a clue of the pride they take in their business. They probably need that extra cash more than me anyways. What comment can the owner even make to justify not providing goods but keeping the funds? They are welcome to add their two cents to explain and if they did it would show that they at least care about their reputation which is not apparent from their actions today, you know with the owner refusing to talk to me and all. Perhaps they'll be more talkative in this forum and hopefully they can use other vocabulary than the vulgar words that the management is fond of using with customers. Never been disappointed with good guys until now. Hadn't ordered for a while and was realky craving a pizza. Called several times between 9:20 and 9:30 to order and no one would pick up the phone. I decided to drive over and order amd got there at 9:34 (live down the street). I walked in and asked if I could order and the guy looked around at everyone and the clock amd then decided they were closed. I will have to find another place I guess. Just very dissapointed. Family recommended this place. We live near a Marks but since their prices are getting outrageous we have been trying other options. The first time we ordered from Good Guys we got 2 sheets and 4 buckets for a birthday party. The man on the phone was kind and the delivery man was great. The food was tasty. So on a Thursday night when it was just me the husband and kids we decided to go back. My husband gets off of the phone and says "well that girl was very unpleasant". I shrugged it off. I went to pick up the pizza to be reminded exactly of what he was talking about. The girl behind the counter seemed absolutely annoyed that I had even walked through the the door. She doesn't even walk up to the counter just shouts "name" as she avoids eye contact. The cold transaction takes place and I even reluctantly add a tip on the tip line of the receipt (I don't know why I did it but I always feel obligated). I hand the receipt and pen back and the girl doesn't acknowledge anything. She doesn't say thank you, she doesn't say good bye, have a good day....nothing. Just walks away. Maybe I'm old fashioned. But customer service is 50% of the experience for me! The food tastes better with a smile. So while eating my negative energy pizza, I think to myself "I've had better". With several pizza shops closer and kinder, I don't think I'll me going back. I don't like to feel anxious about going to pick up my food. Are they going to be rude again? If I say something will they spit in my food? I really hope the owner takes note of how employees can make a lasting impression on a customer experience. read more
