I was working and in a rush locked my car keys inside my work truck! Called Good Lock and Tal answered and said he would be there in 10-15 mins and you know what he did. Unlocked my truck in less than a minute it was awesome his weight time and the time it took him to unlock my car was so quick and convenient because I had another job to go to and I thought I was going to be stuck there waiting for him longer because other locksmiths take forever to get to you but not Tal. I am always working in the west LA area and when I locked myself out again I am definitely giving him a call because I know he will be there in less than 15 minutes I would highly recommend him!!! read more

Good work but expensive. I would suggest shopping around because he charges a lot. I got locks changed on my place and rekeying and you only get 2 keys with each - and he charges $10 per key. He's fast and knows what he's doing but def not a deal. read more

I needed all my locks changed in my home and used Good Lock because of the reviews on them. I can't be more satisfied. I spoke with Tal when setting my appointment and he really worked with my schedule and was convenient. When he arrived he was professional, courteous and made recommendations that I could do. Quoted me an exact price, came to rekey my new house, did it for the price he said he would and even included an extra key for me. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone. I had a problem with my front door lock which was broken on a Sunday night. I looked on Yelp to find a locksmith and called to find what their hours would be in the morning. The Good Lock had strong ratings so I thought I'd call. Surprisingly, I found that he could actually come out to my house that Sunday night and for a very reasonable service fee. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. Eden was able to discuss the project in broad strokes via text first, and didn't insist on a face to face meeting. (I really appreciated this because it saves everyone a lot of time.) Once we aligned on the general direction Eden came out for measurements and prepared a final quote. He and Koby (sp?) suggested a really beautiful door and we ordered it on the spot. A couple weeks later the door arrived in perfect condition and was installed within a couple of hours - and it looks GORGEOUS! A few neighbors have even stopped by to say so. I'm so glad I took their design advice! Eden followed up afterwards just to make sure I was happy with the final result. Seeing and hearing his assessment I felt comfortable with his diagnosis and his solution. When he returned in a couple of days with the parts, he quickly implemented his solution, and thoroughly tested his fix to the extent where I felt very comfortable. This included identifying existing remote gate controllers that were coded incorrectly. And he held true to his verbal cost estimate from the other day. When asked about replacing another gate, his response was that it was in good shape and there was no need to replace it. This response just contributed to how I describe him.

I was walking my sister out to her car tonight at about 8:30 PM, and saw a man going to the next door neighbor's with a headlamp on. He said he was a locksmith and I said "We're in need of a locksmith. Can you come by when you're done?" He said, "Sure, I'll be done in 15 minutes. I'll come over." He did just that. He came over in 15 minutes and fixed our dead bolt lock in about 15 minutes. He recommended a type of dead bolt that was better for our use than the one we had, which he pointed out was usually used on glass doors and we have a wood door. I always wondered why it was a strange lock. Who knew? And he chose a new deadbolt with a finish that blended in with the wood door. Nice! Then, I asked him if he could fix a doorknob on another door. When he was finished with the deadbolt, he came upstairs and fixed the doorknob which had fallen apart, since it's an original glass doorknob in a 1927 house. He knew exactly how to fix it and put it back together with new screws. It's an old house and there's always something to fix. I felt great that I got another thing fixed and so quickly, unexpectedly and efficienty! I will definitely use Tal again. He said that he is available 24/7... He's on call! This man is a guardian angel who came to my rescue late the other night when I was going through the last stages of a year long nightmare with awful disgusting tenants. I found him on yelp and he came right away as late at night as it was on the 31st and marched right into my rental and started making demands that they quickly followed speeding up the move-out process exponentially, as they were just j*rking me around for the whole day and half prior. The change of locks and keys made process itself was very fast and professional and well done, but then he stayed a while longer even though it was cold and windy out and helped me out with other matters that I needed. So I lost my keys, and could not get in. Now it's little after midnight, and then I remembered seen this Van that says "Good Lock". I also remembered thinking to my self what a sophisticated name it is for a locksmith company... So I found the phone number, and called them. He came up with this great idea to install a digital lock since we have been loosing keys and had too many current and former employees. My mother in law has a business on Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. When she had a broken lock her landlord would not repair it so we called Tal at Good-Lock Locksmith Services.
