The staff was very friendly and helpful in what we could and couldn't make, and made multiple suggestions on their favorites. Ended up doing a Brooklyn style wth their sauce, roasted mushroom, caramelized mushroom, yellow pepper, oregano, garlic oil, mozzarella, Italian sausage, lemon zest, and kale on half. It was amazing and my fiancee and I put down the whole 18 " pizza within 6 hours of it being put in my hands. Quality ingredients, good sizing, pricing looked reasonable, especially for the area. Good Pie is the only restaurant in town that I frequent weekly. The pizza here is so stellar, it often transcends into the otherworldly. There is truly something special for everyone here - all pizza lovers unite! 4 styles of pizza crust - Brooklyn, Grandma, Detroit, and Gluten-free. After sampling them all on several occasions, the quality is always there - just different experiences. Brooklyn is my go to for a bit larger diameter crust, with a little doughier texture. I love the "Good Vibes Only" or whichever pizza you prefer with lots of toppings. Great to share, and eat while folding the corners like a New Yorker. Love to add a bit of the Calabrian "bomba" or "gnarly sauce," on this one. The Grandma is my favorite crust, as it is much crispier, less doughy, beautiful square. Because these cook in a specific pan, the corners of the crust have a lovely crunch. I typically love cheese, but the Urbani White Truffle pizza is also scrumptious on this. My new go-to, and the inspiration for this epic pizza rant! Detriot is a touch smaller than the Grandma, but makes up for it with a higher and ridiculously crunchy parmigiano rimmed crust. Detriot is also known for the sauce on top, which makes this one totally cravable as well. I don't know exactly what Vinny has in his Gluten-free dough, but I can guarantee you it is the best gluten free pizza crust, anywhere - easily. Using special caputo gluten free flours and some other high quality ingredients, celiac sufferers can finally satiate that pizza craving. No longer do gluten-free pizza crusts taste of cardboard - Vinny has certainly raised the bar. Equally represented here, are stellar vegan options. The most epic vegan cheese I've ever tasted - made out of organic coconut meat. Vegan meatballs that are spiced perfectly, it is nearly indistinguishable from pork sausage. From a vegan for 2 years...Bravo! This won't be the cheapest pizza you'll ever order, but it will be the best. Vinny does not cut corners, using only the greatest and purest ingredients. Most pizza places say this, but Good Pie backs it up by selling these quality ingredients in the retail shelf for the adventurous home cook. I picked up a bottle of Urbani Truffle oil and I'm hooked. Speaking of retail, the Good Pie schwag is top notch. Great quality t-shirts and hoodies with pretty epic designs. Lastly - My favorite part of the decor is the homage to the Grandmothers, with a wall dedicated to their legacy of love and cooking. It's a trip to see local Las Vegas Grandmas and Martin Scorsese's real life 'Ma (from Goodfellas). So delicious! We get the vegan grandma style pizza every week and have a beer or two as well. Great reliable service every single week. The only feedback I have is related to a couple of our recent visits on a Tuesday nights - there were 3 booths available and no one else waiting but we were told to wait for bar seats or smaller tables because the booths are saved "in case bigger parties come". We waited about 15 minutes for bar seats but noticed a party of 2 (like us) behind us was told the same thing and they left because they were told to wait outside in the 100+ degree heat. When we finished eating we noticed that all of those booths were still empty in addition to another one. This means the hostess turned away 2 potential paying customers in case FOUR parties bigger than a 2-top show up. We were told the same thing the following week when 3 booths were available and had a really short wait for the bar which is no problem for us. Several booths were still empty after we finished our meal again. I understand saving booths for bigger parties but not when there are so many booths available and some customers may not want to wait or be crammed at the bar just because they are a 2-top and not a 3-top. I just felt management should be made aware of that since the establishment may be losing money over this policy. read more

I've never had a vegan pizza I've liked until I went here. Absolutely loved their $6 vegan slices. Vegan cheese can be hit or miss and they picked an amazing cheese to put on their pizza. I also liked how there was some mushrooms on the slice. I will be coming back for sure. read more

This is the best pizza in town in my opinion. Obviously, everyone has different tastes, but this blows the old Chicago at pizza rock out of the water for me. I get the good quality meats on the grandma crust. And to me, it's perfection. The sauce has the perfect flavor, the crust is crisp and buttery, and the meat and cheese are valences and not overloaded to cause a great limp slice. Great service and wonderful pizza! The location is tucked into the Pawn Plaza and carries a lot of the Downtown Fremont vibe into the restaurant. The pizza was absolutely delicious. Last night (12/17/21) was my first time going into Good Pie Pizza . I wanna thank my coworker/friend Nina for introducing us to this gem! I wish I would've taken more photos of the place but I was just in Aww. This pizza joint is legit. The pizza is amazing. The staff is amazing and the service is amazing. I truly recommend this place. We tried the garlic knots, which were delicious. And we couldn't decide on a pizza so we ordered 2, The Good Hot and the Johnny be Good. The sauce on these pizzas were delicious as well. Had a corporate team-building outing here hosted by the owner, who did a fantastic job. Learned more about pizza and what separates the great from the cardboard than I'd ever known. Owner set each of our own teams up with our own stations and after a quiz to find out how much we knew about our company, were then issued points which we used to cash in on ingredients. He then worked with us and provided amazing instructions in how to prepare the dough by hand and apply the toppings to create the perfect pizza. He could not have done a better job entertaining us and conveying his passion for the history and heritage of pizza. I've never had better pies in my life. We got there around 5pm on a Saturday night. We were told it was a 15 minute wait, but only took 5. We were sat and greeted right away. We ordered drinks. When the waitress came back, she took our order. We ordered a Caesar salad to share and a gluten-free Detroit style pizza with sausage and mushroom. The salad came out right away, but we did not have silverware or plates. The food runner said he would be right back with them, but he did not come back. After about 10 minutes of waiting, our waitress finally brought out the needed utensils to eat the salad. The salad was a bit dry as it needed more dressing, but we didn't want to wait anymore for additional dressing. When the pizza came out, you could not tell by looks or taste that there was much, if any, sausage on it. But, the crust was light, crispy, and fluffy. That is hard to come by with gluten-free pizza. Overall, we will come back for the food. But, the service was lacking. But, it may have just been because it was prime time on a Saturday night. read more

I ordered delivery from Good Pie last night and I wasn't disappointed. Like most nights during covid, I was spending a quiet evening at home with the dog and I had a hankering for some pizza. I figured I'd support a fantastic local brand near my neighborhood so I indulged in a Grandma Shroom pizza and fried ravioli. I was impressed with the dough, cheese and mushroom quality and the pie was cooked to perfection. The fried ravioli was the perfect finger food. I was our in Las Vegas for the SEMA. Show and as I was leaving, my wife had me pick up a gluten free pizza from Good Pie-something she had seen on food network. When I got there, they were fantastic. Apparently, they also offered her the par baked gluten free pizza crust as well-and they baked her pizza with pepperoni but no sauce. They were kind enough to put sauce in two containers so I could drive them back to Santa Clarita--yep, thats correct, I delivered pizza from Vegas. This is a welcomed addition to downtown. The pizza is excellent and can tell the ingredients are fresh. We ordered the Detroit style "the Good Hot" and it was delicious. The one thing I was a tad disappointed in was that they are literally in the middle of the new local brewery district and they only had domestics on tap and a few cans of Las Vegas beer--super lame--maybe this something that's coming since they are new. So I'd say go to a local brewery and grab a slice of pizza from the walk-up window. read more
