The fries were very good, and generous in portion, however they sprinkled too much salt on them. I had to use a napkin/tissue paper to wipe the salt. I've tried 3 sandwiches so far: Flying Dutchman on sourdough, Fogbuster on dutch crunch and the pastrami on sourdough. Each one is a long & hefty - easily a pound - and the breads are fresh and really hug the ingredients. For my tastebuds, the chipotle sauce and jalapenos are too hot, but I LOVE the garlic spread and all the other fixins complement the meat. Looking forward to trying a different one on my next visit!

A bit on the oily side (hence filling), but that's to be expected with garlic shrimp. The night we went, there was a birthday party happening in their private room. It was really loud and noisy, so it was hard to hear folks. Our server was nice, but fortunately for us he spoke loud enough for us to hear him despite all the loud music! Parking can be tough as it's in a residential area of DC with most of the parking being residential. So you might need to walk! Overall, I give this place a solid 3.5 stars - tasty food and pretty good service. Knocking down half a star for a somewhat subpar (loud/noisy) ambiance. I'd probably go back again, but for take out only.
