Good Tequila's Restaurant is a nice meeting point and easy to find. Almost all lunch specials comes with beans and rice. They use vegetable oil vs. lard which helps a lot. The place is clean and very colorfully decorated throughout. Sebastian our server was so friendly and provided excellent service. The place is a casual place to have lunch or dinner. There are plenty of specials to choose from including vegetable, beef, chicken and chorizo. We ordered guacamole and queso cheese dip to go with the warm chips and salsa's. Both were freshly made and pretty good. We ordered the Burrito deluxe with chicken for our lunches. There was a generous portion of chicken in the burritos and the flavor was pretty good too. I like they had the big burrito cut in half as it was easier to eat.

The dining experience at the renowned Mexican eatery, Good Tequilas, proved to be an absolute delight for the senses. Upon crossing the threshold, my attention was immediately captivated by the exquisite decor that adorned the establishment, including the meticulously decorated and painted tables and chairs. An unexpected surprise awaited me even in the confines of the restroom, where the ceiling was artfully painted in a striking two-tone combination, further enhancing the ambiance of the place. The tantalizing combination of crispy corn chips and delectable salsa was a revelation to the taste buds. While the unseasoned corn chips served as a subtle accompaniment, it was the salsa that truly stole the spotlight with its rich and vibrant flavors. A harmonious blend of ingredients, with just the right amount of cilantro, lent a sophisticated complexity to this seemingly simple dish. Our selection of the ground beef enchiladas verdes for the main course was a study in culinary elegance. Though seemingly uncomplicated, the dish exuded a depth of flavor that was both comforting and satisfying. Additionally, we savored the caldo de res, a hearty beef soup that exceeded all expectations. The beef, marvelously tender and bursting with flavor, mingled harmoniously with an abundance of fresh vegetables, creating a wholesome and nourishing feast for the senses. Service was fast, super friendly, and very attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Smiles and hospitality met us at the host stand. Spanish songs filled the air setting the tone for our family lunch. From the Tamales appetizer to the Fiestas our meal was delicious. Everything about this restaurant felt authentic. I would have posted more photos but we ate it all, so good. You're just going to have to check it out yourself!

I came here once before and the drinks were good so I decided to come back. Well....the drinks were still decent....so it got an extra star. I didn't care much for the food. I was pretty disappointed with it and could barely eat more than half of my food. The shrimp tasted as if it wasn't fully cooked and the sauce that was used was so spicy I could barely eat it or taste anything else. I know that a red sauce was used but at other Mexican restaurants, they don't make it unbearable. The chicken was not that great either & tasted like frozen chicken was used. The queso we ordered was also C pretty burnt. We couldn't really eat most of it & then it got taken away without asking if we were done. I'm not sure if I will even be back. Even though the drinks were ok, I would rather spend my money at a place I can enjoy both my food and drinks.

Had really an excellent Mother's Day meal from Good Tequilas, first time tryong it. Our son and DIL brought us a banquet including a 1/2 gallon of Margaritas. Arizona Burrito, a ginormous plate of Nachos Supreme, and for me, the no-carb person in the family, Mar y Tierra Fajitas, side order of Chile's Torreados. Everything was very good including the margaritas. I forgot to take picture so this is the leftovers of the fajitas a Caballo as we say in Argentina.

Came here around 8pm on a Saturday with family. They have TV's and had the World Series on. Was busy but not too crowded. Good family friendly spot. Service was great. Food is good. Everything we ate and drank was good. We also celebrated my birthday and they had me wear a sombrero and sang to me. Gave me a dessert with a candle. Was cute.

Great selection of cocktails and all sorts of seasonal drinks and specials. Mixologists here are highly trained for what they do and are great with their customer service. I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.

Molos did not just deliver, it set a new standard for our little group dinners. We started with the Pikilia tasting plate and built our own trio of spreads. The roasted red pepper hummus was the unanimous table favorite, bold and deeply flavorful. The melitzanosalata was earthy and subtly sweet, a quieter but beautiful complement. The tirokafteri was good on its own but genuinely shone when swirled together with the other two. And the pita. That pita. Pillowy and soft with just enough structure to carry a generous pile of spread without collapsing. Outstanding. The fried zucchini with skordalia was fresh and light tasting despite being fried, a real trick. The potatoes needed a touch more salt to fully wake up but were otherwise solid. The saganaki was a table highlight, lit tableside with a proper OPA moment, gooey and beautifully crisped on top. Think mozzarella stick that went to finishing school. Mains were all exceptional. The filet mignon was wonderfully cooked, the EVO lemon sauce bringing a bright refreshing contrast to the richness of the beef. The pork chops were well charred and seasoned with the same confidence. The chicken ala feta was bright, light, and satisfying all at once. Dessert was a sampler of everything on the menu, all some gorgeous variation of creamy whipped filling, phyllo dough, honey, and nuts. Every single one cohesive and complementary. We tried them all and had no notes. We sat outside on a lovely evening, left with leftovers for days, and paid a price that felt almost unreasonably fair for what we got. The online menu has a few appetizers I didn't see (zucchini with skordalia! Oven-baked lima beans!). Warning, at least where I was sitting: the booths can move (not nailed down) - be careful when you get up. I got the chef's special spanakopita/tiropita and the roasted potato; be very specific when ordering as I was served the special "Molos Greek potato" with garlic yogurt and shredded cheese, which was fine but not what I wanted. The spanakopita and tiropita were tasty, with a good ratio between filo and filling, served on a folded cloth napkin (great idea, even perfect filo-wrapped items can be a bit greasy). Service started a little slow, as there was apparently a big party (they do that and they cater now). It was OK though I'm not sure English was my server's first language. I'll be back for the moussaka, which looks great (someone at the next table ordered it) and will be very precise when ordering my roasted Greek potato. Hopefully with a side of giant lima beans in tomato sauce.

We went full tapas mode and shared everything across the table, which is absolutely the right way to do this. The trio of salsas was a strong opener. The smoky Al Morita was the clear winner for me, though all three brought something distinct to the table. The Patatas Bravas were well seasoned and the sunny side egg on top added a richness that elevated the whole dish. Wanted a little more crisp on the potatoes but honestly a minor note on an otherwise solid plate. Tacos were a mixed bag. The Al Carnitas fell flat, the pork belly felt underseasoned and the lime overpowered everything else. The Al Fundido though was a genuine standout. Perfectly cooked butterfly shrimp, pickled onions, melty cheese. Every component earning its place on the tortilla. The Al Chulo got solid marks from the table but could use something bright to cut through the richness. The Chicken Empanadas were a highlight of the night. Shatteringly crispy, loaded with flavor, and the slaw alongside them was exactly the right call. The Al Mango Salad was fresh and balanced but leaned sweet and desperately wanted a crunchy element and maybe a little heat to round it out. Dessert delivered a split decision. The Al Platanito Frito was the surprise of the evening. Sweet, sour, bright, crunchy. A perfect final bite. The churros were perfectly fine and nothing more. Service was attentive and our server steered us well with recommendations. One heads up: this is not a casual weeknight cheap eat. It is tapas priced for the experience, so come hungry, come with a group, and come ready to spend. Worth it. The Plainfield location is next on our list and we cannot wait.
