Me and my wife recently came here to grab a small bite to eat. My wife recommended me this place to go out together because they have vegan options. The prices were a little high but the portion size that you get is absolutely huge! Quality of the nachos were extremely great and I felt really filled. They have an outdoor eating section as well. As we were heading to somewhere else we came across this newer place so we instead came here. It basically is a super casual Mexican American place where you order at the counter and they bring it. NachoRita is a few steps above Taco Bell, and certainly is more expensive in case you couldn't figure it out. Has good drinks including margaritas. The food includes nachos of course as well as tacos. For drinks we got a margarita because of course we did. It has a few to choose from. The Margarita is literally called that. It's $6 so not bad. This is made with citrus juice blend, Jose Cuervo Golden Agave Tequila, lime, and salt. It's good, but there's not enough. The pour is pretty small. As for the food, we got the 3 Tacos, which comes with a choice of fillings. It's $9.50 and we got vegan chorizo as the choice of protein. It comes with cilantro, lime, and onions. These are on corn tortillas. Good tacos but again not enough. The Nachos are even more expensive than this. It's $17 in a pizza box. These come with all kinds of good toppings. Also you can get vegan chorizo. There's an upcharge of course so it costs even more. Good Mexican American food. It's super casual in here. Don't let the small storefront fool you. This spot has a welcoming atmosphere and a nice variety of menu items. If you have celiac disease or need to eat gluten-free, you hit the jackpot here. You can eat pretty much everything except flour tortillas. We tried a few different kinds of nachos from the menu board and a custom-made one. In our family, the ratings varied depending on how you like your nachos and toppings. One person loved the huge variety of toppings on her nachos. The queso was the biggest favorite. Another person felt that the somewhat thick toppings were overkill and made all but the first few mouthfuls of the delicious homemade tortilla chips get on the soggy side. That said, everyone would like to go back to try other things like the tacos or maybe a bowl, and more nachos with other proteins. read more

Been awhile since I've updated here. Couple of things. Nacho Rita has continued to expand their menu, while also condensing it to the things that work. They now offer specific nacho "styles" with toppings that work well together. This is all 100% customizable also, but with the pre-selects, you have a nice starting point to get where you need to be. Their service remains top notch. You can tell a lot about a business with how it's employees act. Food has been great. Good portions, at reasonable prices. Nacho Rita also has been good with community outreach. The owners (who also own Babcocks) seem to value Lombard, and work with organizations to help make Lombard a better place. That alone is "worth" giving both places at least a try. If you're in Lombard and looking for a nice quick solid meal, give em a shot. read more

And every time is just like wow. :) food is great. they have meatless chorizo AND dairy free cheese which for us, since we are vegan, is straight up unheard of for us. My cousin and his wife live near this place, so it was convenient and fast! This place reminds me of Chipotle but nacho version. Their serving size is big, so you can definitely share it. My first time in today and this is exactly what I have been looking for! Make your own nachos, sign me up! The chips are delicious and not salty which is exactly what I like. The toppings are all fresh and delicious. The guy helping us was very friendly and generous with the toppings. They even have a vegan option. We will probably be back weekly, yummm! Tried this one night after a meeting and needed something quick. It is a nice little place and the employees were very friendly and efficient. The food was good - not the best in the world, but definitely better than Chipotle although the concept is similar. We did not order nachos, but had a burrito and a bowl. We did have a bit of a misunderstanding when they were assembling our food. My husband wasn't really paying attention and asked for a fajita burrito assuming there would be meat/protein on it. They didn't make clear that you specifically had to ask for that as an add-on, so he ended up with a veggie burrito - not a happy camper as a die-hard carnivore. There was plenty of meat on my dish so I shared with him but he was disappointed that they didn't clearly point this out until the burrito was made and wrapped. Also, there are no fountain drinks, so if you want water, etc., you purchase it and take it out of their cooler. Otherwise a cute local place. We would try it again if we are in the area. read more

I'm so disappointed (and angry). We were very excited to try NachoRita after enjoying several trips to Babcock's. I went through the online ordering process to order food for our whole family (which stated a 15-20 minute pickup time) only to have the order rejected. I tried submitting again and received a message that online orders were not being accepted. I then call the restaurant only to be told that they were too busy to accept online orders and would also not take my order over the phone. When I asked if there was any way for me to place an order, I was told no, not at this time. I was so excited to try this place...especially with their plant based options. Also, delicious and a serious value for your money. Today I got a 12 inch nacho in pizza box with fajita veggies, guacamole, black beans, tomato, olives, cilantro, jalapeno, 2 salsas, and lime crema, was a little over $14 and I think there are some toppings I'm forgetting. It fed 3 people and there's some left over for the first one who gets hungry again. My sister has raved about this place for awhile - she and her husband come here once a week and split a thing of nachos. We finally went with her and tried it - absolutely loved it. My wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch today. Overall, the food was very good. She got the street tacos and I ended up with a burrito. We also had a side of chips and guac. The burrito was a standard size similar to what you would see at chipotle. The two things that stand out for this establishment in downtown Lombard is 1) their a patio and 2) The size of their street tacos. Normally street tacos are smaller with a modest amount of meat coupled with onions, cilantro, and lime. This establishment offered a large portion of meat for their street tacos which is great! Also, I am a big fan of their patio. Since there is a large tree in front of the store, it offers a great amount of shade even if it's lunchtime. Couple that with the breeze that comes from the cross traffic between Main Street in Saint Charles, this place is great for outdoor eating. If you were looking for a quick and easy place to eat with your kids, pick this spot. My wife and I have an 18 month old and we are especially cognizant of whether a restaurant is family friendly or not. read more
