We have had our system for about 10 years and was serviced by two other companies that had long wait times and so-so service from those two providers. Good Water Company was able to come out the very next day which was a pleasant surprise.  Hunter is very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this business. We had a water softener system installed at our home four years ago by Kionics and love it! Recently we noticed our water in Highlands Ranch started having an odor we didn't like so we call Kionics to come out and explore what other filter options we might have. They came out right away, tested our water and suggested an add on to our current system. They installed the new filter and like magic our water is odor free, tastes better and is awesome! I contacted Good Water of Santa Fe to do a service call on my Kinnetico softner.  I told them what was going on and the issues I was having.  They told me they still service Kinnetico.  On the 17th of August, the technician arrived and spent 1 hour looking over the system and then left stating on the ticket what he thought was wrong.  There was no repair and what I found out later is he had no parts for Kinnetico softners.  Several calls later with no call backs I finally talked to Adam stating it would be more cost efficient to buy a new unit for $2800.  That is not what I originally had in mind.  They should of told me from the initial call they had no parts.  At that point I would not have scheduled service. read more

Our well water was atrocious. Looked like apple juice coming out of our facets! Very heavy in iron and manganese. Another company tried for 2 years, to fix it, to no avail. Kionics knew exactly what was needed and fixed our problem quickly. We can now drink our water! We highly recommend this company! read more

Kionics installed a system when I built my house 5 years ago. Their service has...right from the start been just terrible. What I did not know when I chose them is that no one else can work on their equipment. If you choose Kionics you are stuck with them. I have finally reached my limit with them. They are so awful that I have spoken with another contractor to remove their equipment and start over with some one else. They are that bad. read more

We hired Kionics to repair our water softener, but the same problem returned less than a month later. We left messages and finally spoke with them, but were told that it should be full of water (not true, full to overflowing) and that they don't service GE water softeners, although they had charged us to fix ours a few weeks before. We hired another company, who said it should not be completely full of water, that iron was clogging the drain, and repaired the problem. read more

I was looking for water purification company for my house. Kionics was the first and best recommended company from research. The technician was very knowledgeable and very friendly to work with. They show up on time and finished the job in timely manner. At first they only recommended the carbon tank but after tested the water I want to add the water softener. They did a fantastic job. On top of that, I purchased the RO drinking system And they installed it for me as well. Their service was outstanding and they offered me military discount. We had an older water filtration system and the filters were getting difficult to find and ridiculously expensive to replace. Joe at Kionics took great care of us with a new unit that we couldn't be more happy with and was not much more than we would have spent just replacing the old filters. I solicited several quotes for a water softener and RO system for my well water. The Kionics tech was on time and very professional. He provided several options and explained them all. The quote he provided was the best for the type of system I was looking for. The installation was scheduled and the tech was right on time. Very courteous and professional. Everything went very well. Kionics followed up a couple weeks later and came out and tested the water to make sure everything was working as it should. This is an awful company. Long story short I had questions on my invoice as I was charged an additional $125 for "Misc Hardware" after the installation of my water softener. I simply wanted to know what additional hardware was used. I was met with a hostile man who threatened to come to my home and was then hung up on. I then received a very passive aggressive email from their office personnel the next day with the list of additional materials used. The catch is that I asked the technician over the phone for this list and he refused saying it was up to the business to share this with me but he would not. Very shady and fraudulent business practices. I would stay far away from this company. read more

Absolutely fantastic. I have a quality unit that works fantastic. And I did have an incident and with simply one phone call it was all taken care of. It was covered by the warranty and I have a great product that I don't have to worry about. Beware of this company, horrible company and false promise by owner. I have got installed new Water Filtration System from this company back in Jan-19 till date no one has called for follow up appointment. There sales person was very proactive prior to the install, after install it seems this company vanished from the earth. The contract states they are suppose come back in a month after installation of new system to test the water. So I have attempted several calls myself, and have left VM and given message to the receptionist, finally got to speak the owner Dee who promised that their technician will call, its been over 3 weeks nothing yet. This is a preferred vendor of Home Depot who recommended. I have lodge a complain with Home Depot who is looking into the matter. Potential customer please be aware before you sign up with this company as this my experience. read more

We bought our home April 2017 and a new $5k Kionics water filtration system was installed March 2017 by previous owners. We were having problems with our water (sediment, discoloration, high iron). We called Kionics for service call. After almost a month of back and forth we got the tech out here. The tech said that the system was too small for our home and the plumbing was not done correctly. The additional equipment and labor to fix THEIR mistake would cost $5k in addition to the one year old $5k+ system. I called the owner and left two messages with no return calls. I spoke to the tech and let him know I was going to get other estimates. I was told that no one else can work on their equipment and I'd be starting from scratch and would likely cost much more than $5k. I've had two other companies come out and both state that the equipment was installed incorrectly (the filtration system before the neutralizer which ate away the resin) and many of the repairs the Kionics tech said were needed were not needed. Also, the system installed is adequate (not requiring additional equipment) and both companies do work on their equipment . I hired the other company to fix Kionics mistakes and everything is working great and cost $1500 versus $5k. Maybe we just had a terrible experience, but I cannot recommend this company. Their customer service is terrible. Installation was incorrect and they do not honor their warranty or fix their mistakes. read more

Kionics, the new name of a comapny previously known as Pure Water Solutions in Castle Rock, is a service company for water softeners and RO units. I would have great difficulty recommending this company. Over a year ago, we had them service our softener (Kinetico), which was 9 years old. The tech misdiagnosed the problem and within a week he was back again to fix the unit (continuous back washing). It was discovered that the resin and other parts had disintegrated, washed away or failed. They took the unit back to the shop and repacked and replaced parts under the 10-yr warranty. It took more than a month for them to bring it back (should have taken no more than 2 weeks). When it was reinstalled, the tech didn't correctly tighten something and there was water everywhere. He finally got it working properly. The Ops Mgr was so concerned about the negative review I wrote that he contacted me and agreed to give me my next annual service free (labor & parts). When the new techs showed up a year later (April 2018), they caused a leak in the RO system and couldn't fix it onsite. I called the new Ops Mgr (they've had a near complete turn over in personnel) and he had them bring the unit into the shop. They fixed it but wanted to charge me for something they caused. They had a contractor re-install the unit a week later but didn't tell him it was at the shop. He came to the house for nothing and then had to go back to the shop and fetch the unit for installation much later that evening. In the meantime, the tech who removed the unit forgot to cap a drain fitting, and we proceeded to have leaks under the kitchen sink 'til I could figure out why. These folks are either incompetent or uncaring. Due to all the problems, only some addressed here, they have caused, I would not recommend them to service your water systems. read more

I called upon Kionics to service my water softener after experiencing faulty operation. After 9 years, the tech determined that there was little resin left in the tanks and that some of the mechanisms in the valve had malfunctioned or broke. He removed the tanks/valves from the system and took them back to the shop for possible repair or replacement. In concert with Kionics, I discovered the system was still under warranty (1 year left) so I was only charged for labor and trip charge to replace the tanks/valves. The whole process took time and there were some communication breakdowns along the way. However, the company stood tall, made good on the warranty and reached out to me to make up for any inconveniences I may have experienced. They went above and beyond to rectify the problem, which says a lot about their customer focus, and I look forward to working with them in the future. The system is now working fine and the repair was done to my satisfaction. read more
