I have been going to Nasrin for over 10 years. I have had monthly color, highlights, hair cuts and numerous Keratin treatments. I used to have curly unmanageable hair and Nasrin has completely changed the texture and style! I always get compliments on my cut and color. I've tried so many different "good" colorists and NONE compare to Nasrin. I have Persian hair so it's a lot harder to do a cool color. But she knows exactly what to do, and I won't let anyone else mess my hair up again (it is either always brassy or they charge a lot to do partial highlights). Worst hair salon experience in my life! WARNING! Do not go here! I am so upset, sad, depressed, appalled and in shock by how evil the owner Nasrin is. She has completely ruined my hair by applying bleach/highlights in a way that looks like a child did it. I wanted sandy cold highlights to blend in with my outgrowth and informed her that my hair has tendencies of going red/gold/yellow and told her about a bad experience that I had in Vegas 2017 that I just, 4 years later, have recovered from so she should know what to do/not to do for my hair to come out sandy, cold, matte blonde. I do not understand hair stylists who lie and pretend to be good with bleach and blonde when they are the opposite. I would have appreciated her saying that she could not do it for me but instead she applied hair botox and highlights (no timers while taking care of 2-3 other customers and dying her own hair at the same time I was getting my treatments) in the same process (?!). The hair botox has done nothing for my hair (possibly cause it was not applied properly and she panicked in between when I freaked out from how yellow skunky/Eminem/90's highlight stripes my hair looked after she washed the bleach (and or the hair botox) out. I immediately looked her in the eye and asked what the hell was going on and started shaking. Everyone in the salon got weird and quiet and Nasrin's ego could not take the criticism/failure feedback. She panicked and tried something to fix it which made it look a little bit better temporarily but as soon as I went to the gym and my hair got hot, it looked just as terrible as it did in the chair. I was in complete shock, my vision got blurry, it felt like an out of body experience and I had a panick attack after I paid (full price like the gullible person I am) in a blurry paralyzed state of mind. I wanted to cry and scream but instead my body failed me and I got paralyzed as she was trying to "fix" my hair. At the end she let another person give me a blow dry since she could not face me in front of the mirror and she was also dying her own her and was occupied with that so she forgot my hair TRIM. I have had my hair long since fifth grade (1998) and ALWAYS emphasize and repeat to hair dressers that I want a trim, as short as possible, as I like my hair as long as possible. She then CHOPPED my hair at least 3 inches. She also left my left side about half an inch longer than the other side and uneven in the back. It looks like a child cut my hair in my sleep (see pictures. Also, do not want to post pictures of my full face but will update with day light pictures of the unevenly stripy applied highlights from hell tomorrow) I have not had my hair this short since 1998 and I hate everything about it as my hair grows very slowly. After a few days of crying and cancelling all my plans, I have been at the salon on business hours for no one to be there so I gave up and texted her the situation, stating that I need a refund so that someone else can fix the damage she has done (color blend/correction (which is what I came to her for) plus additional trim smh, wtf) but oh no, ms Nasrin ganged up with a coworker and got super nasty. Tried to force me into a written contract, lied, blamed me, changed her mind from "we don't do refunds at all" to $100 (I paid $350 and asked for $200 back, did not even get a receipt), yelled at my husband like he was her worker or child(she is white, he is black, and was nothing but nice and fair to her, but that tone she had when yelling at him was disgusting for obvious reasons), tried to scare us, etc. I won in small claims court in Vegas for that hair incident and that was not even as bad as this (and also did not have that owner on recording like I do with Nasrin) but will now have to take her to court here unless she responds to my demand letter of the full refund plus out of pocket cost I have this weekend when another PROFESSIONAL will attempt to correct the damage she did to my hair! I will update. She has until 10/18 to respond to my letter but at this point I do not expect much. read more

I really hate to write this review. I don't write reviews often, but I felt it was necessary. My friend was generous enough to get me a groupon as a gift so I called the salon directly to make an appointment with Nasrin since she seemed to be so highly recommended. I was looking for a very experienced colorist and in need of a new great stylist! I arrived for my appointment and I didn't really receive a warm welcome. I was rushed to the chair without asking if I would care for a beverage or if someone could take my coat. I tossed my things in a corner and proceeded to show her pictures of what I wanted. She rushed me through them barely looking at the pictures or listening to what I wanted. I'm very picky about my hair so I was trying to be detailed in explaining what I wanted. Finally, I mentioned that I had a Groupon (was never asked on the phone), and in the most condescending tone, she rudely said "Oh honey, I don't DO Groupon". Clearly she's too good for that! I will admit I should have been more careful to read the fine print. Apparently it's only with Josie and you're supposed to call a different number, BUT it was the first impression and poor manners that left a sour taste in my mouth. I politely asked if there was any possible way she could accept the Groupon since I was set on getting my hair done. No such luck! I don't live close by and I was supposed to go to work afterwards, so I had to go back and fix my own hair. I thanked her and decided to leave even though she said she would call Josie to get me an appointment (on another day). There's no way I would want to get my hair done here after that anyway. I wish she had offered a different solution and not been so snotty. Instead of gaining a customer, you lost one. Best of luck with your business. I've made the mistake of trying other salons over the years but I always make way back to Deanna. Thank God she takes me back every time. I went to this salon for a chemical hair straightening. The owner did it. 3 months later I returned to my regular stylist to get the chemical straightening I had gotten previously. She wanted to know what product was used to be sure it did not interact with the one she uses. The owner of the salon REFUSED to tell me what brand she used. My hairdresser called and she refused to tell her also. She said it was competition. Be careful. If you have an allergic reaction to the treatment she will not reveal the product and risk your health. Very insecure lady who thinks that you will return to her if she treats you like that. Deanna is the best!! I've been coming to her for over 10 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair. She takes her time and really makes sure that I love my cut and color every single time I go. I have gone months in between appointments at times after I have had my babies and my hair always looks great until I am able to make it back in to see her. She has also cut my son's hair a few times. She is a true artist of hair and has been doing it forever now. I saw Nasrin Goodarzi recently for a Keratin treatment after being referred to her by a friend who also frequents her for Keratin. I always admire my friend's hair, and finally decided to visit Nasrin after months of admiration. Nasrin and her colleague did an excellent job, meticulously straightening small strands of hair one at a time to ensure the treatment seeps into all of my hair. This attention to detail is what I look for in stylists. I'm very happy with the outcome! Compared to my last Keratin treatment at another salon, this was by far a superior experience, and the results really do show in my hair. A few things to note regarding what others have said about other stylists there. Like many salons, this is owned by one person (Nasrin) and other stylists rent out the spaces available there. I can't speak for the other stylists, but I know the owner, Nasrin, is reliable. Nasrin is also aware of the challenges she has around answering the phones, and mentioned that she is currently in the process of working on hiring services to solve that challenge. I went to Nasrin recently for gray coverage and highlights. I have light brown hair with a clump of gray up front. Nasrin insisted on doing this all over color first. She selected a brown color which is darker than my natural color. It's painfully obvious because it's darker than my brows. She then proceeded to highlight my hair and put in these thin highlights. The finished look was just awful and dated. I wanted two-tone highlights. She ignored what I said and did her own thing. I went to another salon, but they were only able to tone things down and add some brightness around my face. I have to wait months for this mess to grow out. Nasrin does not listen and communicate very well. Also, the color application was sloppy. I left the salon with a stain on my right side and a line on my face! read more

Love Deanna! She takes her time to first analyze and chat about how my hair is doing and what direction she should take before having my hair conditioned and then cut and shampooed or re-shampooed. I would give it zero stars if I could. I bought the Groupon for Josie for a haircut and I am devastated. Chop job is an understatement. Was in and out (including a shampoo and blow dry) in 25 mins and she completely ruined my hair. Extremely rough and aggressive when detangling my wet hair and even asked "what's wrong with your hair?" Which was incredibly offensive. I asked for a trim and clean up asking to keep the length as long as possible with some long layers and now have short chunky layers, the shortest being cut by at least 7 inches and doesn't blend at all. If choosing to have have a Groupon was an attempt to expand the business, a fail is again an understatement As an update: It has been an week since I posted a review here, Groupon, and contacted the salon and I have not heard from (apology or otherwise) from the salon or "stylist." read more

This review is for Josie. I got a groupon and went recently. While she was courteous I don't think she knew what she was doing I was in and out of the salon in 25 mins with shampoo haircut and blow-dry including 5 mins wait time. I showed her what I wanted but all she did was shaped the hair and took off some pieces here and there. If you can direct her for each step, I think this the place but for someone who isn't frequently getting new styles, just relying on a pic isn't enough you need to guide her so not a good experience. I felt hurried and left with wanting more. I know its a good price but why even spend this much if you just get a trim and shaping, no style at all then I think generic chains will do as well. I don't even think I got a proper trim as I can still see some split ends. Plus she literally shears your hair which I don't think is healthy for your hair, even though I don't know a lot. Even the blow dry was roughly done. Plus the place wasn't clean either, which I can understand on a busy day. I gave her 2 stars because she tried and may be I needed to guide her, but then that's not what I had purchased the groupon for. So, if you want a style and make over this isn't right for you. My daughter and I went to Goodarzi salon. We were very happy with our result. The location is very good, you can easily find parking space. There are many restaurants next to it so you can eat after you're done. Everyone in the salon was kind. Nasrin is amazing person . We chose to do the Brazilian keratin and when we finished,our hair was fabulous. It had been a long time since I'd had either. I showed her a few photos of the "look" I was going for and she nailed it! I've never had so many compliments after a haircut/color - friends and coworkers keep telling me I look like a new (better) me! The color is just beautiful and so flattering to my skin tone. I had a Groupon so I made an appointment with Josie, the haircut itself is not unskilled or a chop job, but completely not what I wanted. She took it upon herself to say I wanted blended layers, no I wanted some texture at the bottom, with collarbone length hair all one length- which I told her at the beginning after stating I did not like layers and wanted the ones that I had cut out of my hair. She cut the back short so that it looks chunky with my thick hair and makes me look years older than I am. I told her this at the end, to which she replied next time I should ask for all one length, and didn't even offer to try and fix it.
