Not a huge deal for me, but if you wanted to chill and enjoy some AC, this would not be the best fit. I ordered in person, which was maybe wise since another family had ordered online and they had to flag down the worker to ask about their order - it wasn't clear if he was even aware of it. That being said, the worker was nice, and I got my order super quickly (like, within 10 seconds of paying). I will say I was a little perplexed since I ordered the concrete and it was definitely not frozen. Like, they advertise that you can turn the frozen custard upside down with the spoon in it and nothing will move, but I can guarantee that everything would have fallen out of my bowl if I tried that. I was shocked to find my JumboVanilla Shake was 90% Milk. It had approximately 1 1/2 Scoops of Ice Cream Floating on top. That was all for $7.25 ! What a complete Rip Off !!! My wife's Hot Fudge Sunday was awesome. Lesson learned ! We'll go to Dairy Queen from now on where you get what you pay for which is even $1 cheaper. Goodberry's is the place for frozen custard. It's smooth, creamy, fresh, and tasty. You can't really go wrong with anything here, and it's a simple concept. They always have vanilla and chocolate custard, and have a special daily flavor as well. If I'm not keen on the daily flavor, my go-to is vanilla custard with cookie dough chunks as a topping. Oreos also goes well atop vanilla custard, in my opinion. But if you look at the toppings menu and see something else that sounds better to you, it will probably be more than satisfying. For example, they don't have "mint chocolate chip" -- they have to make it by mixing in watery mint and watery chocolate chips to it. This isn't why you come to a place like Goodberries. Rather, you should get your ice cream mixed in with harder toppings, such as m&ms, Oreos, etc. Other tip: Try to avoid taking the cream cream / orders to go. By the time you come home, you have a limited time to eat the ice cream because it melts pretty fast. It's best to eat right there at the store. If you say frozen custard around these parts, the first place that usually pops into people's heads is Goodberry's. I've had coworkers come in from out of town and still remember that they want some frozen custard from Goodberry's when they visit, so yes, it makes that kind of impression. Their frozen custard dessert is just plain out good stuff. Usually they have a vanilla, chocolate, a no-sugar-added vanilla, and a rotating flavor of the day available for their daily selections. Usually you can't go wrong with any you select though. I usually keep with my standby of no-sugar-added vanilla, very tasty and sweet enough without the added sugar. Also they have sundaes available, their "concrete" concoctions (mixtures) available, and also a large variety of toppings to choose from. However you choose it, mix it, or order it...it adds up to YUM. I think they would get full five stars from me if they had seating other than outside only. You are at the mercy of the elements with the outside seating, so sometimes it may hamper you from making that trip when you get the need to treat that sweet tooth.
