    Ultimate burger

My wife and I had stopped by a local restaurant which didn't have any booster seats, we also weren't thrilled with the menu. We were craving burgers and looked up a local burger spot on Yelp and came up with Pulaski Street. We are so glad we did! I got the ultimate burger, with sweet potato fries, and my wife had gotten the California burger which had avocado on it. Both burgers were outstanding, and our waitress, Leslie went out of her way to be extra sweet to our son, who enjoyed all the attention. As well as the ice cream she had recommended. Lol. This down to earth bar and grill, has excellent food at good prices. Highly recommended, we will be back.

My friend and I decided to try local restaurants in our neighborhood now that more are opening and last night we had an early dinner at Pulaski Street Grill. I would pass by all the time but never ate here. I loved the way the restaurant was set up. A nice size bar and against the wall there was a counter with stools where you can sit and have drinks and food if you didn't want to sit at a table. There were also tables and booths in this part of the restaurant and then there was another room with more tables. I found the decor to be very nice. We started off with a drink. I had their specialty mojito (love mojitos this time of year) and it was awesome. My friend had a specialty margarita (strawberry instead of the watermelon) because our waitress Leslie recommended she try it with strawberries. My friend loved it. For dinner we each had a burger. I had the New York Burger with Jarlsberg instead of cheddar. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the Pulaski Street Burger and said that it was also delicious. I'm not a lover of beef but I have to say that was the best burger I've had. Our waitress Leslie was very friendly, pleasant and attentive. Pulaski Street Grill is definitely on my list of restaurants to go back to.

Stopped by for food after the outlets and this place looked good. It was quiet, a few regulars at the bar and a couple of people dining but is was nice. The bartender/server was very sweet and attentive, it was a relaxing environment. The food was great, a few notches higher than most bar food with a great menu selection and lots of specials. Would recommend for casual eating, and would dine it again if i'm in the area

I ordered a lamb gyro and he ordered a chicken sandwich, PLAIN, cutlet on a bun. No pickles, coleslaw, plain! He received a sandwich with EVERYTHING on it! My gyro was like something that I have never seen in my life! The menu says protein, COMES With SALAD and FRIES. It was a pita with lamb CUBES covered in French fries and chopped lettuce with white sauce. I have taken photos, it was disgraceful! I have no idea who would ever eat this slop! I called to speak with the owner and was told he would come to the phone and placed on hold... then disconnected. Called back and was then told that the owner wasn't there! STAY AWAY!

When I saw "Smack N' Chick" I knew it would be next.Parking in a big lot was easy. It's nice to have so much space. The front of the building looks modern, very well put together. I just wish I saw more of that from the inside. The inside was modern with one large TV playing basketball playoffs. They have a few tables on the side and a counter on the far side of the restaurant. So at the counter, the cashier working didn't seem all that interesting in helping. He took our order, and told us they don't have certain items. We asked to see the menu and he said that the pricing is different. Why would that be? Going to sit down we noticed right away, how unclean the table tops were. Not one table was cleaned. We had to ask for napkins to wipe it ourselves. When the food came out, we grabbed it right away. There was one issue, we both ordered no pickles, however one order came with them. I started with the fries. The fries were incredible! I was surprised how good they were. What added to the flavor was the Smacking Sauce they gave with them. It was delicious and had flavor. Now the chicken. First off, it had too much flavorless powder on it. It got onto everything. The powder had no real taste, but it did leave a smell on my hands, even after I washed them. Speaking of, the bathroom had little soap and no paper towels. But, the chicken, definitely wasn't the worst I had. Very generous piece. If I came back I would definitely get the fries and sauce. However, the chicken would be substituted for lamb. Smack N Chick is identical to a restaurant in Hicksville New York, minus chicken standards. I guess it's hard to duplicate the king.

I was in the mood for a salad and this place popped up in my search results…read more I parked on the busy street and upon getting out of the car, there was an empty six pack of beer bottles on the curb. Not their fault, but definitely a nod to that strip of somewhat vacant storefronts next door. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by the woman behind the counter. There was no paper menu to read quietly on my own. I had to watch her use a remote to change the screens on the TV. She answered any questions I had but I found it a bit uncomfortable that she had to say "let me know when you're ready to see the next screen" in order to see the next page of menu items. The food... I did a create your own and it included 5 items and I added chicken and a few other "fresh ingredients". This was by far, not my favorite salad. The beets were crunchy strips. The broccoli was shredded crumbs. The lettuce had brown spots on it. The quinoa was cold and hard. The feta was good. The kalamata olives were good. The chicken was horrible. I'm used to a whole piece of grilled chicken, warm, juicy and cut up on my salads. This was a big container of chicken shredded up into small dued out bits. Everything was tossed for me and the somewhat creamy balsamic dressing was too briny. Thank goodness it was on the side. When I got home, I added my own avacado, tomatoes and dressing. It was dinner time. If you're going to serve this kind of food, it should be fresh all of the time or don't stay open that late, only to serve the last of what was put out in the morning. I gave one star for the kindness of the woman and one star for the idea. I want to support small business but $20 for a less than mediocre salad bowl is not worth returning.
