Will not be coming back. The reason I shopped here was because the prices, obviously, if I'm buying used, I want USED prices. I went in today and I saw jeans for $17.99 & $29.99! I was in absolute shock. The shirts that used to be $4.99 were around $9.99 and up. These are NOT thrift store prices and Goodwill is a thrift store. I hope Goodwill knows I can buy NEW clothes with those prices and they are clearly losing customers by the day. Shame on you Goodwill! I will certainly not be donating any more items here either. I don't usually go to Goodwill on my own but I feel like I always end up going to a lot with my Mom. Everytime we visit my sister in Rocklin we end up here. This is a TON of stuff. I don't usually look in depth at good will but here I do because there are things that I need/use that I may not want to pay retail for, like hangers, hair clips (new) and picture frames. Although there is a ton of merchandise, it is pretty well organized by holiday, place in home, etc. Year round they have lots of holiday merchandise so if you want to shop for Christmas ornaments in July, here ya go. read more

This place is a rip off just like the rest of them. Selling broken down unusable goods that anywhere else an item that would go for 1.99 they price at 5.99. Donated shirts they paid nothing for...6.99. you can get brand new for that. When the min wage went up, they added .19 to every price , which was already insulting, since this company makes billions of dollars a year already. And then at checkout they ask if you would like to donate your change to the needy..Which is themselves. Some workers they pay as little as 22 cents an hour ! Think twice before you buy anything from this RIPOFF "for profit" company. Give your donations to Salvation Army or Dessert industries. At least they give the homeless FREE coats and blankets during the winter. Or even DONATE to your local church. They give directly to the needy. read more

This is usually my go to thrift store, only because the location is convenient for me. I usually have pretty good finds here and the prices are okay, but at a recent visit, one of the workers were being quite rude to a customer and made a sarcastic remark like "Are you happy now?", I just thought that was unnecessary and they could have explained the situation to the customer without being disrespectful. Overall they have some nice items, but the customer service could be better. read more

Cleanest goodwill I've seen. Clothing arranged by color but not by size so plan on spending a lot of time to dig. Good value on belts and jewelry. Also good selection of kids books. read more

I only came here to see can I find a cord, but u saw a bracelet or necklace that I was interested in. The guy that was behind the counter didn't know what the hell he was doing, I have asked him several questions only thing he was saying was mhm, mhm, mhm!! Like really, how is that answering any questions that I asked, like what the hell is that??? I don't even understand what the hell he was saying, or why was he just saying that. He didn't have a problem with talking to the first customer, but when it was my turn, all of the damn sudden he can't talk! This Goodwill is the worst place to shop, the store is cluttered full of junk all over the floor you can't do nothing but walk over it step on it or whatever! Hands down the worst place ever! I just needed a extension cord they said it's placed had it so I decided to get it here, but I couldn't find anything under all the mess they have in there, so I gave up. read more

I tried to donate a very nice dresser and a high end TV Stand. They refused to take the items because they stated they had been painted. I explained both items were only 2 years old and they were all original items from Ikea and they were never painted. They still refused to take the items. I went to the Goodwill Express Donation location in Roseville and they gladly accepted the items. The Managers at the Fairway location do not have a clue as to what quality furniture is! Very sad! I am sure that both items will sell fast for a good price. read more

Not sure if all Good Will stores are this pricey or if it is because of the area. Either way, I thought this place was overpriced and not very organized, even with it being a second hand store and all. There are other options in the area that also serve a good cause but will not break your budget. I will go to those places from now on when I need a thrift store. read more

I agree with many others who've mentioned their prices are way too high. I looked at used DVD's that I was interested in but not for $3.99. I often go to the Goodwill in Auburn and there prices for not only DVD's but clothing are at least 1/2 of what Rocklin charges. Not sure how they determine prices but if you are looking for a deal, forget this location. read more

I have always liked this Goodwill as it is clean and organized and usually always has a good selection. The staff is always very nice. I shop here often for books, clothes, children's items, and household items. But, the last three times I have gone the prices have gotten progressively more and more expensive. For clothing, they have started changing their pricing based on the brand name of the item instead of just a set price for the type of item. For example, last time I was there they had a wrap around pink sweater with a hole in it from Victoria's Secret for $17.99! Yikes! What are they thinking? This is a THRIFT store where you buy USED items! I could find prices cheaper on clearance or at other stores and it would be new. This type of pricing is also starting to apply to children's clothes, purses, and shoes. Also, on their book prices, the sticker prices do not always match up to their sign prices, especially on children's books. A lot of times they are trying to charge $2.49 for a children's book when they are only supposed to be $1.49. You have to watch the prices. If you ask, sometimes they will give you the right price that is advertised on their sign in the book section and other times they will not. It is really sad that they have gotten so expensive in their pricing. They will probably been losing my business and I can find a better deal elsewhere. I like to support them as they help the community but I think that they need a reality check on their pricing. I am also wondering if they have a new manager as the last three times it has been less organized and they have just had blue tubs of dishes for you to dig through. Outrageously overpriced for old used junk. What happened? Goodwill used to be a "thrift" store where you could buy used stuff for really good prices. These days a lot of the items are priced at retail or above. Got shocked last Halloween when shopping for used clothing, they were just as expensive as new! Today we stopped by for a minute... as usual sticker shock and disgust set in after seeing a few price tags. Walked out empty handed yet again. It's a shame. read more

This goodwill is on my weekly round of thrift store stops. I always find great stuff but, it can be expensive. They do charge close to retail price on some items and that can get frustrating. There have been a lot of times I passed up things because they just are too expensive. read more

We bought our kids halloween costumes here. Fun to shop for cheap stuff here. We stop in once in a while, nice and clean for the most part.

Store will open Friday. Was closed due to a gas leak. Will they be holding the labor day 50% off as they were closed that day as well.

Ive been here a couple times and never found anything that I would want to wear. Im sure if you are in a patient mood and are willin to sift through a rack you'll be able to find something though. The store is big and clean so that is a plus. read more

I was recently evacuated from my home for a few days due to the propane fire in Lincoln without clothes. I went to purchase clothes to last a few days and was blessed by Goodwill with a 50% discount. I am a big Goodwill fan and have shopped in this store since they opened. I love the people who work there, they are helpful, friendly and the store is always amazing. HOWEVER, has anyone noticed lately their prices are double almost any Goodwill Store in the area. I questioned this today and was told they are attempting to become a more "high end" store. Excuse me, labels like Scrapbook, Mossimo, SO, Merona, Chaps, Croft and Barrow....are NOT high end and should not cost $14.99 for a used Scrapbook sweatshirt, $12.99 for a used Croft and Barrow sweater. I am more and more disappointed in their pricing every single time I go. On sale in most stores you can get these items, new, for about half that price. What is this store thinking; I believe they are chasing away customers.....the Goodwill on Douglas and the one in Auburn have much better pricing. I saw today jeans for $19.99.....I'm so disappointed in this store and feel they are inappropriate charging customers, especially since items are donated. I've always supported Goodwill, through both contributions and donations, but honestly, I've taken this store off my last. read more
