Wow, this place is Giant for boutique style Goodwill! Service: attentive, way better workers than the normal Goodwill. Not a long line so to register fast. Selection: great amount of clothes. Sorted by size which is a plus. Plenty of women's clothes, not much men. Was hoping to find a good suit for my son for prom. Reason I gave you five stars is because they actually have a plus size section. And it was amazing. Got tons of stuff for my daughter for Coachella. Value: was a bit overpriced, sell some things in there that were from lower end stores. I probably could've bought the same thing at the lower end store. The good thing is one of the things I bought was half off for the day. They do have 50% off color. Overall, good experience, clean, and attentive

Bought these Shoes, marked size 7, they were size 4

Bought these because they were the only ones in my size and style. walked to my car and tried them on, to only find out they were a size 4 and 1/2. Immediately, I went to return and got denied a refund or exchange because "shoes are final sale." Wasted money because of a worker who put the wrong tag on it.

Jeremiah helped me today and he was absolutely charming! We live in Palm Springs and stay at the Hyatt Regency right down L Street. We stop by this Goodwill every visit and it never disappoints! Today I found an amethyst and a great pair of shoes

A series of cool wavy bookshelves organized and labeled.

Wow what a Goodwill! It felt more like a boutique thrift store. So clean, so so organized, and really great pieces. I would go back here again and again. It was surprisingly busy for a goodwill, and then I found out all clothing and shoes were 50% off the day I went. So many people and I still found some incredible pieces. The staff were peppy and always moving always working. They have an incredibly large book selection, *very* organized, and I really love the shelving situation they have. I cannot believe I got two wool pieces and a cotton dress for the price I paid. Very high quality pieces and I walked out spending less than a tank of gas. Amazing. Will definitely be returning when I'm in the area again.

I actually liked this store! It was very organized, the employees were friendly and helpful and they had really great values and color coded discounts for the week. I actually purchased a nice sweater for a very good price. They have a large variety of women's clothing (not as much for men). Enjoyed browsing this location.

Really nice and clean inside. Super organized and good atmosphere. Kinda needs music in there though to complete the good vibes. Service was good. Good collection of music, shoes, clothing. A bit pricey for shoes and clothing though. Would come back for sure though. So organized and good collection of shoes:)

Very nice clean location

I've gotta admit, I haven't stepped into a Goodwill store in a very long time. And I almost regret waiting so long! Truth be told, this Midtown Sacramento location ain't no typical thrift store. In fact, most of the items here are in near-new condition with quality, name-brand merchandise. Located directly on L St. and in between 16th & 17th St's, this is the only Goodwill Industries that is in the heart of the Midtown/Downtown part of Sacramento. Parking can be challenging as there is street parking (free on Sunday) and a nearby parking lot with a $5 flat rate. The outside has only one small door with the business name. But once inside, this store is extremely spacious and has quite a bit of store footage. You will find two public restrooms (that require a key to eliminate homeless/vagrants) as well as three fitting rooms. What is interesting is that much of the men's and women's clothing is blended in but everything is categorized very simple. You will also see an entire section of shoes, children's clothes, hats, and scarves. They even have a very sizable amount of books, music, movies (available in DVD's & Blu Rays), kitchen items, and collectibles. On the day I came (which was on a late Saturday afternoon), I scored some really great deal. This included a Calvin Klein polo shirt, a nice black Van Heusen sweater, and a pair of Lucky Brand jeans, all in excellent condition. The prices are also very reasonable as I was able to buy all 3 articles of clothing for around $30 after tax. Overall, this Goodwill is definitely one of the better locations I've been to. Great service, excellent selection, and a location where you can shop for clothes and then enjoy a bite to eat at some amazing local restaurants all within a block away. My rating for the Midtown Sacramento Goodwill Industries, a solid four stars.

Prices here are ridiculous, $9.99 for one used container. Really?

Insanely high prices. I'll be leaving a review on every website I can. Don't go here unless you want used clothes for basically full price.

This was my first time visiting Upscale Thrift and it is located near Freeport and Broadway. I loved this thrift store! I came in looking for something specific, which they unfortunately did not have, but I did end up finding a really nice glass bowl and glass jars for my sourdough bread baking era! They had so many beautiful glass items plus clothes, toys, jewelry, etc. Staff were very friendly and even let me know about their other location that might have had the specific items I was looking for. Most of the items were fairly priced - I even bought a fun pair of sunglasses for my daughter for like $5! If you like thrift shopping, I would definitely suggest checking out Upscale!

When you walk in there is a sign on the door that says if an item doesn't have a tag then you can't buy it. And there is a security guard at the front door. I found lots of good deals. The most expensive item I bought was a winter coat for $17.23. It was in a size small and it fit perfect. It has a mickey mouse motif and mickey ears attached. I found a Las Vegas Raiders jersey, boys XL, which fit me perfect $12.92. It was new with out tags. I also found a SF Giants T Shirt that looked new. I found some other black tops, long and short sleeve. I found the cutest red minnie mouse sweatshirt but it was too short, too back because it was perfect. They also have lots of more expensive items mixed in. Such as Kings and Giants Jerseys. All well over $35. Compared to the teams stores it's still a good deal, but out of my price range for this shopping spree. These items are cheaper at the Goodwill Bootique in downtown Sacramento. I know because I've purchased several jerseys there. Everything is well organized by size and type of merchandise. They have long racks of clothing and a good variety of sizes. They have a rack of short sleeve tops, another rack of long sleeve tops, dresses, formal dresses, jackets, athletic tops, ect. Everything is so well sorted. They have colored tags on the merchandise. Each day they have different sales depending on the color of the tags 25%, 50%, and 75%. I only had a couple of the 25% off items. For those 2 items I saved $5.07. So for 5 items I paid $46.31. On average $9.26 each. Not a bad day Thrifting. Checkout is all self-serve. It's quite odd, but they have a lot of registers and someone helping out. They graciously took my coat and found a tag on it without me asking, which was great because I didn't even see it. I did see it on the Raiders jersey I bought and they removed that after I scanned it in to pay for it. They also have some new merchandise by the entrance of the store, those are not so good deals.

St. V's usually has quality furniture, well made. This store has square footage and volume. A vast inventory. As generations arrive and leave, thrift stores contain the remnants. Lots of furniture is the pressboard, particle board and veneer of the 70's-2000's. There were still some great finds, oak, a very nice likely mahogany table, 2 leaves, with a coat of paint. Another good dining room set. A cool old dresser and mirror. Our place is too small, 700 miles away and full of quality old furniture. Not necessarily matching, but quality. We left with four items, two of them sealing glass jars, able to hold about four cups of ? each. Ours are raisin jars. We like wooden hangers, found a bundle for two dollars. We had been at the Pendleton Woolen Factory and seconds store the week before. We found a nice Pendleton Branded (therefore expensive) quilt in a belted package, unused, $14. Not wool, a weather resistant quilt, great for a car blanket. Would we return? Yes.

He raved about this thrift store. So I saved it till my mom showed up and we put it on our list. Google maps got us there without a hitch, or almost. We did have to do a U-Turn to get into their driveway, which wasn't bad, the traffic stopped ahead of us due they had a signal so all was good. This is a huge thrift store. You can't miss it from the road. It's on Watt Ave before the bowling alley if you are coming from the 50. They used to be behind a thriving shopping center, but that fizzled out so I'm rarely in this area anymore now that my grandma doesn't bowl there anymore. They have everything here include furniture that they will deliver. That's a surprise. I didn't inquire the fee, but I bet it's worth it. When you walk in they have a board that tells you what colors are on sale. I bought a few things that were 25% off and got one top for 50% off. What a deal. I bet people shop by tag colors and go for the white ones as those items are only $1. What a deal. I didn't see any white, tags, but I wasn't really looking for things by tag colors. I was more focused on things that I wanted and if it had the right colored tag than good for me. They have so much clothing. And I'm mostly focused on clothing and Puzzles. Everything is divide by type and size. There are several alcoves. One had women's dresses in it, which I looked at, but didn't see anything that was worth trying on. I found 2 sets of winter PJs for $6.99 for the set. One silky set in maroon and a 2nd set that was cotton and had maroon stripes along with grey and white. I got a black and white Calvin Kline T-Shirt with Calvin in Silver lettering for $2. I got 2 100 piece puzzles for a friend who had a stroke recently. She's going stir crazy and said 100 piece puzzle would be perfect. And theses weren't kiddy designs either so these were perfect. One was of sea shells and the other is of a decorated elephant. Those were only $1.50 each. They were 25% off what a good deal. And I got 2 other tops for $3.99 each. Back to the puzzles. They are the only store we when to today that had such a wide variety of 100 piece puzzles. I was really impressed by their selection. They also had puzzles with more pieces in them, but none of those got our attention. I don't know if they have restrooms, but they do have fitting rooms. They allow you to take 5 items in at a time, which is totally fair. With dressing rooms going out of style these days, this is a total find. They have so much clothing, they even have a blue room with the more desirable items in it. I looked around, but didn't see anything that caught my eye. Nothing stood out to me as being as a good find. They were pricier than I wanted to pay for those types of items. If you did find anything there you are asked to pay for them separately and not take them out of the area till they are paid for. Parking is ok. They have a lot right out front that was full when we arrived, we parked by the side of the building which was more convenient for me in pulling in and backing out. The other parking lot looked tight. I'm totally sold on this thrift store. I'm going to put it into our rotation.
