Donations are able to be dropped off on Wednesdays. There are a lot of high quality name brand items. This is a great way to recycle. Reduce waste and support food security, in Golden. Today I scored two like new brooks brothers wool sweaters for $40 and a stack of paper plates for a dollar! I highly recommend shopping, supporting, donating & volunteering at the CAG. The issue I have is that more than 50% of the time I have been overcharged and/or charged for items I didn't buy. A couple of times one of our party has caught it in time. When we caught it as we were loading stuff in the car this time, I immediately went back in and I was told I could get store credit (which requires a commitment to return to a store I struggle to trust), and, "there is nothing else we can do." One time, I can suck it up and deal with. A second time, okay, there is still room for grace. But to repeatedly have this experience, I need to tell people to- BEWARE! I go to thrift stores because as mom of a large family, I DO need to count my soon to be discontinued pennies!

There seems to be some construction going on with the car dealership they share a lot with so the parking situation was a bit of a hot mess, even on a Wednesday morning. But the sales and prices clearly made up for that, I was greeted by volunteers telling me the specials of the day which included a color tag and then women's tops. I found some great brands because it is so well organized and the prices were reasonable. I just loved this place and had such a great time exploring the racks. Calls us when medication is out of stock. The Starbucks in this store is the only one we go to. Staff are so friendly. Know us, laugh with us. At the check out stand there are three particular staff we try to go to. Chaz being our preferred staff. I have been treated with such kindness. I have my Service Dog and all the staff know us. This store was not only hard to find, but thinks video games are neglible to carry product. Barely any games in stock, and all of their Nintendo Switch 2 games are "Game-Key Cards," so they're basically fake physical games that require download space. The only games worth buying is Cyberpunk 2077 and Donkey Kong. Even the Playstation section is notably smaller than even Nintendo's own The toys were at least packed out, the LEGOs had some cool sets when you see them all stocked that you can almost buy an entire series in one stop, which is good.

I also found the most gorgeous copper water pitcher that I initially left behind, but obsessed over until I went back later and got it! iykyk As with all markets like this, prices vary by booth, but overall I found them to be higher than average (for the things I consistently see and shop for). So you may find your unicorn, but you probably won't find it for a bargain. The market is laid out in a perfect grid pattern, making it super easy to navigate and ensure you don't miss any booths. The front right quadrant consists of rows of locked cases. While it absolutely makes sense for certain things to be under lock and key - like jewelry and small items, delicate and fragile items that shouldn't be handled, super rare and valuable antiques - many of the items in the cases were none of these things. I found this annoying, especially if the price wasn't readily visible. Many booths are well curated and organized, but many others are a hodge-podge assortment of completely unrelated items. Plan to spend at least two-three hours here, and more if you follow the golden rule of making a second lap! I did make a second lap (not of the cases) and spent 3.5 hours. Happy shopping!

I do like the entrance. They need more tables or displays. The glass case used to hold jewelry, now they put out-dated things like a Christmas Village (during Christmas). It makes it look like they don't have ANY quality items. They have never really had quality clothing and whomever is sorting needs to keep more modern clothing.
