A decent and organized store. It was laid out nicely. It was clean. I would recommend if you are in the area.

Goodwill isn't even trying anymore when it comes to not destroying merchandise they're selling. Every time I come to a south Florida goodwill I see at least one thing destroyed by employees. Today it was this vintage top, an employee scribbled permanent marker all over it and STILL marked it $8!!!! Are you crazy? You purposefully destroy the item then sell it for full price with no discount. And forget about asking for a discount here, they'll throw it in the garbage and say "no good". read more

This place wasn't hard to find and there's parking out front. There's a sign on the door requiring masks be with... but we noticed many inside without them. This place is 90% clothes and right now a section with Halloween costumes, Halloween makeup, and related decorations. The store is neat overall -- except a few bric a brac shelves -- but the clothes are not in the size areas as indicated. So you may have to dig through to find your size. There a big sign saying books but the books are in the back on the opposite side the bric a brac area is limited. They do have a few shelves with Christmas related stuff. Nothing appealed here. We didn't buy anything but now we know -- and won't be wondering if we have missed out on a great store. It's not. read more

Although this is a large and clean location I've never really had good luck finding things here. Of all the times I've stopped in over the years I've probably only bought something once. They never have furniture, they have some housewares but not much. A good percentage of the location is clothing. As I always say to everyone, check it out yourself because you might find your holy grail. read more

I love this Goodwill for bargain hunting! As with all Goodwills it can be hit or miss, but I've found a ton of awesome deals here.

Basically your average Goodwill drop-off experience. By that I mean it is nothing special. Some locations have lines and lanes, some have over hangs, this one takes you into a back alley with a small door by some dumpsters. Some locations have after hours drop-off areas, some have large bins, this one has some dumpsters and a doorbell. Since the drop off door is locked, you have to ring the bell and hope someone shows up at some point to take your stuff. As you can imagine, this does not create the ideal experience. I was the only person there when I showed up, and there were about 10 cars trying to drop off donations before someone actually answered the door I was perpetually ringing as if the outcome was going to change. They say the definition of insanity is repeatedly doing something and expecting a new outcome, but I continued ringing that bell with the vigor of a labrador puppy chasing a ball. Eventually it was answered and the rush of people to drop off their stuff in a chaos reminiscent of Black Friday ensued. Once I dropped my stuff off, I cut and run without waiting for a receipt, but that was a struggle in itself because everyone was parked like boats at the sandbar, so there was no clear way to get out in any sort of orderly fashion. If making donations in chaos is your jam, try this location out! It'll be an adventure! read more

even though you can find some good stuff, it is not an enjoyable experience. The radio speakers were insanely loud and busted, staticky. The prices marked on the tags were too expensive, not a single shirt for less than $8/$10, even though they discount the price at the register. why would you mark it so high? Plus not a single mirror in the store. The location is very clean though. read more

Love love love this goodwill. Had great selection and I would sometimes find gems. I used to come here every Friday and I wish it wasn't so far from where I live. You can easily find Nike, adidas, all sorts of Knick knacks, Coach, Tory and Dooney and Bourke. read more

Reasonable prices, but I hate that they write on the clothes to mark the prices. I rarely find the "good stuff" here. Not much to offer in furniture but you never know with a thrift shop it's a literally a treasure hunt. It's has a good selection of clothes. read more

There are no more donation receipts according to the Goodwill store employees. I have called the main office at 305-325-9114 and there is a voice message but no returns calls. Donation receipts are no longer in effect as I was told. I filled out a computerized form and have not received any communication from Goodwill. I will donate at other places. read more

The problem I have with the Goodwills in the South Florida area (including this one) is that they are cheap and greedy. They stopped giving bags with purchases under the claim that they're "going green". Its BS. They're simply trying to save on costs, and offers you the opportunity to purchase a reusable bag for a $1. Similarly, to save money on price tags, they WRITE the cost of the items directly on the clothes! With permanent marker! They claim that it will come out with soap and water, which is a farce. It will sometimes come out with alcohol but not before bleeding all over the place. I've ruined many silk blouses and other articles of clothing trying to get the stains out. It's extremely tacky and embarrassing, honestly. The major thing is how overpriced everything is: old and worn children's clothes at the same price you can find new at Walmart or Ross. Used Forever 21/Gap/Old Navy dresses for $10-which you can pretty much buy new at that price. Its like the people making the prices are so out of touch and far removed from the retail world that they have no idea what they're doing. Not to mention dresses with holes/stains/defects priced at $12. It's disgusting that these items are donated and Goodwill takes advantage of the fact that some of us (I'm a full-time student on a budget) can't afford new clothes at retail prices.sure they have the 50% color of the week sale, but the prices are already so inflated that half-off is more reflective of what the actual cost should be. I've been shopping here for years and have seen no changes. As the prices continue to increase I'll find another place to shop. read more

They have dollar store items which is really weird. Like, I could just go across the plaza and buy it brand new from the dollar tree.. Also, when purchasing at checkout a man that seemed to be the manager kept pressuring me to buy more items. I came for what I came for and don't appreciate store employees asking me why I didn't purchase anything else and making me feel uncomfortable. There are boundaries between costumer and employee and he crossed it by shoving things my way and insisting I buy it because it was "worth the buy". Imagine them doing this to a person who could ONLY afford the used items at goodwill and they had very little money. This would make them feel horrible! Lastly, the items ARE CERTAINLY OVERPRICED. Not only that but they don't even have any really good finds in the first place. Not the goodwill I would hit up when trying to resell things. read more

Was there about 8 p.m., shopped a while, found some good deals but as I was walking up to pay for my stuff some juvenile delinquent about 12 or 13 was riding a scooter around the store, fast and not paying attention to anyone around him and almost hit me 3 times just walking to the front of the store. No one said a word to him and he was whizzing by the sales people as well. I refuse to shop at a place where I have to take my life in my own hands just to shop. The sad part was his mother was in the store and didn't say a thing. I will encourage any of my "thrifting friends" not to shop there, it isn't safe! I use to spend a fair amount of money there but NO MORE! read more
