You can tell that they are careful about what they decide to put out on the floor. The items were all in good condition and contemporary. Everything was priced to sell and I snagged some good deals on some pots for my plants. I was looking for a single teacup but they didn't have any on the floor. I came to Treasures to fix my Mother's ring that was passed down to me. A while back I originally…read moretook the ring to a "Scotts Valley Jeweler"... I won't name names (hint, hint), and I wanted them to just size the ring to my finger. It had to be sized up a bit. When I picked up the ring the gold band was stretched thin into an oval shape which flopped around on my finger. I pointed this out and they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. When I came into Treasures I was greeted by a very sweet and kind woman and then met her daughter and her husband. It was so nice to get that warm family feeling like they were going to make everything right that the other jeweler had ruined. Sure enough they did just that. The ring was brought back to life and made very strong and expertly crafted. I also had them do tipping to my Moms wedding bands. Tipping is when they build back up the prongs holding stones in a band. Both rings look fabulous and I'll definitely come back to have them set more of my loose stones in the future.

I originally came in hoping to redesign the set (as it was damaged), but after exploring several options, I realized a full redesign wasn't financially realistic for me at this time. Rather than pushing me toward something outside my budget, Thomas worked with me to find a solution that honored both the sentimental value of my original ring and what I could realistically afford. He repaired my original setting, replaced my stone with a beautiful lab-grown opal, and helped me creatively use inherited family jewelry toward the project. The end result feels deeply personal and absolutely beautiful -- I now have my wedding set back in a way that feels meaningful, unique, and affordable. What really stood out to me was how much personal attention Thomas gave throughout the process. He took time to walk through options, answer questions, and genuinely get to know me and what I was looking for. He's warm, funny, easy to talk to, and the experience felt very much like working with an old-school local family business that truly values relationships with their customers. Just dropped off several large bags and boxes of items to donate (hello major spring cleaning!),…read moreand I have to give a shout out to Deshawn (I hope I spelled that right, initials on my donation receipt are DC). I've dropped off donations at this location countless times over the years, and this was the first time I had someone walk up to my car and offer to help me unload my donations and kindly point me to the correct bins for where to place things (electronics, household goods, clothes, bags, shoes, etc). He also asked if I wanted my bags back and if I needed a donation receipt. The last time I donated items here, there was a guy working who practically screamed at me "No hangers!" to which I responded, "Sorry, I didn't know." - I put the bag of hangers back in my car but he definitely didn't need to yell angrily. So this visit was 100 times better, thanks to Deshawn. Goodwill, I hope you acknowledge the great and kind employee he is! Friendly tip: I had fragile wine glasses, pint glasses, and ceramic mugs to donate and I wrapped each item in packaging paper and bubble wrap and placed them in an open box. I was told this was a great way to donate fragile items so they don't break. The back parking lot where the donation drop off is located can get tricky to drive in/out of if there are more than few cars back there. It's basically a small loop with about 6 spots in the center. And when people are walking back and forth from their cars and the donation bins and cars are trying to exit or pull in, it can get dicey so a little patience will help!

However, some polyester/viscose jackets and coats were priced over $15 for no reason. Even high-end luxury designers, such as pre-owned Louis Vuitton purses and Manolo Blahnik heels that were locked in a glass case, were sold for $60-$80, so you needed to ask an associate to open them to try them on. There were only three dressing rooms available near the shoe section, but they were dim and messy with hangers inside. Don't let it close completely after you're done because it locks from the outside. You had to find an associate to unlock them or wait for your turn for 30 minutes. Overall, it was less smelly than Fremont, spacious, and the associates were friendly at checkout. I come here for cute ladies' clothing that are priced $5-8.
