This store is getting ridiculous. Prices go up every day at these so-called "non-profit" and secondhand stores! You can't be charging the same prices as target for OLD CLOTHES IN A DIRTY UNORGANIZED STORE. $50 for a plastic Christmas tree during the holiday season is quite literally robbing the poor. Who in their right mind would think these prices are acceptable?? $10 for jeans someone has been farting in for years... LOL! The good: I loved the clothing selection. I noticed that the only other r customers there were younger folks. I saw lots of trendy stuff and brands like Zara and Madewell. I ended up getting a metal Easter basket, men's shorts and a woman's Old Navy shirt. The clothes were sorted by type and color. They have two fitting rooms. I like the themed end caps that were holiday centric. The bad: The toy and furniture section was small. There were some kids clothes but barely any baby stuff. The shirts all seemed to be $5.99 which was expensive for some of the shirts. I wish the clothes were sorted by size as well. I am grateful for those that work at the Goodwill Donation Centers. I really am, but the guy working today looked miserable. I have no idea what is going on in his life but his mind was not at work. I emptied my car of my items but the worker had returned to sorting through items I had to call to him to get a receipt. No greeting, no thank you for your donation, no goodbye. Nothing. Hidden gem. Lots of quality items coming in from South Redondo, South Torrance, and PV. Great clothing section and homewares. Like any thrift store, it's a treasure hunt. But there tends to be good finds here. Some people complain about the staff here, but I think you have to put that in context...it's a thrift store. I was in your torrance, ca location yesterday at around 2pm. This location is not clean and tidy. Every area of the store needed organizing. Although there appeared to be a lead representative on shift, no one cared about the way things were randomly placed. They never removed abandoned drink containers, broken pieces of merchandise etc. Why us it that some locations have end-caps that are curated and others do not? This is becoming the norm and no longer the exception for Goodwill. read more

Every time I'm at this goodwill there is some amazing find but better than that, the customer service is always top notch. Andras has been one of the main customer service reps we've had the pleasure of working with and couldn't have been more pleased to have been so. I've been shopping at GW over 40 years and at this store since it opened. Delilah is one of the managers and she is AWESOME. LOVE her! Brian is an employee /cashier who is super nice and very helpful. Good job to these two!! BUT the other current manager (Larry?) is very rude with no customer service skills at all. I think most of the employees in the Donation area are excellent except one. Yesterday 5/24 at 3:45pm we donated boxes and boxes of glass ware & dishes from our beloved mother & father's home who recently passed away. As we handed off the 12 boxes the employee working the bin preceded to throw all the glassware out of the box to "hear glass breaking" with each box he emptied into the bin. We were mortified, angry and sad. So many awesome sets of glassware were broken. Not one employee in the group there said a word to him or us as we all watched in disbelief. He used some bad language and scowled at us. You have the wrong person working for you. Very disappointing! read more

The worst Goodwill I've been to. Rude employees with serious attitude and can't be bothered to open a dressing room door for you and make you wait 10 Minutes while they chat up front. The tall manager is not professional. Pass on this location. read more

It depends on the Goodwill you shop at. First, when I was donating things to Goodwill, I never imagined that my old sneakers would turn around and be sold for 12.99. Then I found a basket a very small basket for 5$!!! is it just me or is Goodwill gotten extremely expensive? I may as well shop at Ross or forever 21 in the end I end up spending the same in my clothes doesn't have a stain or a snag on them. read more

I donated to this goodwill at least 2-3 times per week for 6 weeks with bags full of new and gently used clothes and all kinds of home goods as I recently moved. Donated one morning about 8 minutes before they opened and someone came out of the door to yell and school me to not dump there. There were many items already donated before me and I just had one bag that day to donate. As soon as I put my bag down an employee male, mid age and Hispanic yelled at me for donating and to not do it as people will see me. He took his anger out on me for donating and dumping when it was other people that did it and he saw me so he just attacked me first as no one else was around. Thank goodness there's many other stores I can donate to. Will never shop or donate here again. read more

Me & my husband waited about 5 minutes in the front with no assistance, we waved over twice to the woman in glasses named "Lordes" or "Lortes" and she swiped her hand at us in a dismissive way and ignored us turning away. As someone who works in customer service you'd expect a "one moment" or "someone will be with you" atleast. It's very disappoint I can say this is the worst Goodwill in this entire area I usually avoid coming to this one, atleast the kind red haired woman was helpful and come to our aid quickly. I really like this Goodwill, but they seem to have higher prices than the ones in the more richer areas, including Orange Co. I get email notices every time they have discounts by color tag or $2-3 clothing, etc., but this one doesn't participate in all of the promos- last week was $3 shorts, sure they sell here for $4.99, what's a a couple dollars less? They'd gain more in sales getting rid of them??? I come here because I like how clean & organized it is, but it's at the bottom of my list, ones in LA are by far cheaper & have tons of stuff including designer labels. T shirts are $2 almost everywhere but this one & Sourh Bay stores are almost $5-6 & prices aren't consistent, marked up randomly. This Goodwill is such a clean store with a super friendly staff. It's a medium size store with lots of furniture, bikes, electronics, and household goods. They have the space for a lot more furniture but I like the fact that this store never feels cluttered or crowded. The store is very well organized so you can be in and out of there fairly quickly. They have a parking lot out front and it always feels like it fills up quickly. read more

First of all I'm an avid goodwill junkie and frequent Torrance goodwills daily.This Torrance goodwill takes the cake! Ever since the New Manager took over it has become a real gem.They now bring out new finds every 15 min or so,weather it be lululemons or a crystal Chandelier you are always surprised at the quality of merchandise .They have recently rearrange the store so everything is easy to find and spaced out.The staff is very friendly and they always greet you like a mom & pops business does .I can't say enough good things about this store and almost want to keep it a secert but it's to AWESOME not to share ,so you will just have to experience it for your self . :) Sincerly a happy shopper read more

Thrifting in general will always be a hit or miss, at any thrift store. The day you find a lot and are excited to take everything and use a coupon that is provided by Goodwill through email to use at all locations, this place will slap you in the face with "we don't take coupons here". And it's not like you're buying a small amount to begin with, you must buy $30 to get just a 20% off, that's only 6 dollars... so yeah, they don't accept the only discount you can get cause color tag discounts are only on ugly clothes. Stopped by yesterday and I almost walked right out. The "manager" is so disrespectful to his employees and seems like the employees reciprocate that same attitude. I've been there before and found a couple things so I decided to ignore it. I noticed a new manager, nice and helpful. I went pretty close before closing time ~25 mins before, found a white dresser and decided to buy it. Crystal was super nice and helped me put the dresser in my car even if it was almost over the closing time! Dresser was $30. They also let you buy a furniture and pick it up the next day. read more

Thrift shops! There can never be too many. I love 'em. And now there's a new one in my 'hood that wasn't there last time I drove by this location. I was told it opened 3 months ago. Parking is no problem - there's a big lot next to the store, providing easy access to the donations drop-off. Inside the store is clean, well-organized, uncrowded (so far) & employees are friendly. They displayed goodwill by welcoming me to Goodwill. They even have those smaller-size shopping carts that are much in demand these days at grocery stores. That's important, dang it. I saw mostly clothes. Also shoes, handbags, books and some well-priced furniture. I probably shoulda got that decent-looking floor lamp for 9 bucks. I also spotted a few pieces of collectible glassware. The wall "art" was a bust - no Van Goghs or Rembrandts found today. Maybe next time. Hey....this place is new in town & has room for more inventory. So bring your dusty old cool stuff to donate. And I'll buy it..... read more

Not one usually to leave reviews . Really just have this account for all the bad restaurants. Came into this goodwill today on my way to Redondo Beach with my girlfriends. And as we entered we were welcomed by a handsome man in purple shoes. He helped me find the cutest red top and my friend a really nice blue one! Found out he was one of the mangers while we were checking out. I believe his name was Michael ? Or something that started with an M. But I will be coming back soon ! Found a really solid dresser for my son. Staff was super helpful and friendly. The store manager and another associate helped load it in my truck and even offered to pay for it. Naw, they didn't offer to pay for it but they were nice and helpful. I love coming here always have new inventory and quality finds. I'm referring all my friends and family from NY so when they come down for a visit they can stop by and go shopping. Best place ever. read more

Spring cleaning and donating...so many Goodwill locations have closed down and/or are full on donations or don't accept particular items (aka clothes). This site is open, friendly, answers their phones, and accepts clothes. The drop off site is also convenient and easy to find. read more

This store is absolutely gorgeous When you first walk in it doesn't feel you're a at typical thrift store I bumped into the store manager Flo several times who had such a vibrant cheerful, positive energy. She was so welcoming and helpful to my shopping needs which made my experience very pleasant. The dedication and effort she puts into running her store is impressive I live in Glendale so it's a far commute for me but totally worth it I had a total different concept of Goodwill stores because the previous ones I've gone to were nowhere near as neat and organized as this one. It's Goodwill, what do you expect? The store is well organized, clean, and has a good assortment of categories. I was pleasantly surprised with everything they have. If you are looking for a good deal on perfectly expectable merchandise, this location will do. Their focus is clothing, but I saw a good assortment of modern books (Patterson, Grisham, etc.), glassware, stereos, electronics, CD's. This place is reeeeally hit or miss which is a bummer because it seems decently clean with some good items. It's just the people working that can make the experience bad. I have come in on multiple occasions and there's no one in the front usually so you have to go hunt people down. Which is fine, it's whatever. The people who work the donations in the back straight up ignore you until you flag them down for assistance. The reason for the 2 stars is my most recent experience. During COVID you can't try anything on. I found an item I liked but I wasn't sure if it would fit or not. When checking out I said " What's your return policy ? " To the guy working. I explained that I was asking because I couldn't try the item on and wanted to confirm whether or not I could return it if I bought it and it didn't end up fitting. Literally would not have bought it if he told me no returns, only exchanges. Anyways I go home, shocker it doesn't fit. I come back the next day, kept the tag on and brought the receipt just like the guy said and they tell me no returns. I was like are you joking? I was here yesterday and was told I could or I wouldn't have bought it. The manager says " do you want to look around and exchange it? " And I'm like no... I want to return it like I was told I could. I also was just there and had swept the store and had found all the things I wanted. Lastly the manager tried to argue with me saying that on the receipt it says no exchanges so even if the employee told me the wrong thing, it was on the receipt. News flash dude, you have to make the purchase before you get the receipt so that wouldn't have been helpful. Maybe instead just make sure your employees know the most basic information like the return/exchange policy. I gave two stars instead of one because while the manager obviously didn't give two sh*ts about my problem or frustration, neither him or any of the other employees were outright rude. I have been coming to this goodwill for years, since it opened. It's always been great until today. Apparently they have a new assistant manager named Andrew, who is incompetent. I went to check out, and I had a sweater they had just rolled out onto the floor. When I went to check out, he saw that the item was new with tags and said "oh they must have not seen the tags and mistagged this, l have to charge you $19 for it". If you guys put stuff on the floor, and then try and change the price on someone when they go to the register, that's ridiculous. Furthermore, dont hire incompetent management. read more

Nothing is organized by size which forces you to search through all racks to locate an item. Also, my kid and I were interrogated when we asked to use the bathroom even though is obviously for public use. Also, the same items at other Goodwills are about 1/3 less in price. Save yourself time and just go to another location. read more
