I had what is called a run flat tire. I originally went to Big O Tire and they quoted me a price that I thought was high and it would take a week to get the tire in stock. I called Goodyear and their price was much lower and they already had the tire in stock. I made an appointment for the next day. I went to my previously scheduled appointment and I was the only customer in the building. I was greeted by a Service Tech. They require a mask and social distancing. They pulled my car back for inspection...checked all my tires and replaced the bad tire. When my car was returned to me, they had everything protected with paper. Although I was expecting to pay one price, when I received the bill it came up about $50 cheaper then I was expecting. Great service and very affordable price. I'll be taking all my vehicles to Goodyear from here on out! read more

Signed up online for a "free car care check" that is being promoted on their website. When I arrived at the appointment time, the guy acted like I was an idiot and said "I don't know what you're talking about." Tried to explain to him what I had seen/literally scheduled an appointment for on the web and he said: "things like this are more complicated than free. We charge $135 for that and you have to leave it over night." Classic example of corporate and local branches not being on the same page. Don't be lured here by "free" offers: even if they were free, dealing with rude staff at the branch and dishonest advertisement by corporate is not worth the savings. read more

So we used to go to the Goodyear downtown for about 7 years and this one is pretty personal-able. Their service is pretty good and they are always trying to fit you in. The work is done well and in a timely manner! They also have coffee for guests. I will say the bathrooms are about a 3/5 - they weren't dirty per se, just needs an uplift. read more

Today was a heavy snow warning. I traveled from Niles to Indianapolis..hearing a spinning squeak sound from right rear on our 2005 Mercury Marquis. I called a few auto repair..telling them.I have to go home tonight..can you check it out? This was my 4th call..and they said, bring it in..we'll squeeze you in..I did..they took my car right away..in about ten minutes.The manager said, It's not a wheel betting, but your break pads are gone.. 4 minutes ago Everytime I go in there, I know I'll be waiting for an hour plus, even when I just need one tire replaced. I got my tire replaced about 3 months back and they did not tighten my lug nuts correctly and my car started making awful noises, a week later. Took it somewhere else to look and fix it, which was a $500 repair and they told me it's because when I recently got my tires done they were not put on correctly. I got that fixed. A month ago a tire they replaced 3 months back, popped. Took it in to get replaced, not a problem but ONLY 6 DAYS LATER that tire popped. They would not replace it, even though my man and myself called separately to make sure we could get it replaced under our circumstances and they said they could and set us up an appointtment to do so. I have had to replace 6 tires total because their tires have popped or lost tread very quick. I also have took my car in before because I heard a terrible sound coming from the back, after making me wait an hour and 1/2, not even driving my car to see, they said they saw nothing. I have been a Goodyear customer since I was 17. This last visit was ridiculous and they still charged me for my oil change. I had an appointment at 11:30 they told me it should take about 40 minutes. 30 minutes later they told me one of their technicians shattered my window and they were getting a new window and they would be done by 1:30. I sat and waited until 3:30 and they still were not done with my car, nor had they given me any update. I finally approached the desk and asked for an update, the worker said he would go check but he disappeared into the garage and I never saw again. I had a lot of errands to run and I would have made arrangements had they been open and honest with their communication about time. Definitely will not be going back to Goodyear and will be getting my car work at another business. read more

I bought my tires here a while back and got the "Road Hazard Protection" for them. I developed a slow leak in one tire, so I took the car in. They fixed it (foreign object removed from tire), didn't charge me a thing, and I was on my way in an hour. Yeah Goodyear! read more

I was here for bearings which cost $500 for one side ..i was here for over 3 hours ...they then asked was there any lights on in my car uhh no the mechanic then tells me uhh your AND sensor is out and we will replace it for free yeah you think you broke it so I guess you would ..i sat another 1/2 hour waiting on the part which they should of went to infiniti and got the part ..i was told it would take 2 days and this was on a Wednesday...i am back today 1 week later ....i am very irritated because I came yesterday and was told to come back today because they only had 2 ppl working ...i will never come to this location ..... read more

I made an "appointment" to get an oil change at this location, and I do understand that you should expect to drop your car off and pick it back up later. What I wasn't expecting was for them to tell me I shouldn't expect to even get my oil changed the same day despite that I was dropping off at 10 AM, and I made an appointment. Basically saying sorry we can't help you. So I left and went to Jiffy Lube. If you can go without your car for a day to just get a basic oil change then by all means this place is for you. On March 21 2019, my wife took our 2015 Lexus RX350 in for tire rotation and wheel balancing. They told her the vehicle needed new shocks and struts ,they quoted her a price of 1,425 dollars. I took it back to the Lexus dealer where I purchased the car and they showed me that nothing was wrong with my struts or shocks. All I needed was my rotors turned. Be careful! I would not recommend going to this Goodyear location for their choice to take zero ownership in further damaging my vehicle. I purchased new tires from this Goodyear locations several months back and my experience was great. The staff I worked with were honest and helped me understand exactly what would be best for my vehicle. With that being said, I took my vehicle back for a free Care Check and Alignment Check and was disappointed when I discovered my vehicle's driver side door was completely unable to close, which was not the case when I turned it over to the staff prior to the service. I admit the vehicle suffered a dent on its driver side door several months back which left the opening and closing mechanism not functioning as it should, but after the service, the functionality of the door is completely damaged. It appeared that a technician used excessive force to shut my door which in turn broke the mechanism that tells the cars computer system that the door is closed. In order to close the door, without draining the battery, I have to unplug the battery from the car and reattach it when I am ready to drive it. This was not an issue before I gave it to Goodyear for the agreed service. After contacting the Goodyear corporate office, I was informed that since the door was already dented, they are choosing to hold zero faults in further damaging my vehicle. read more

I ordered a replacement tire for my boat trailer online at Goodyear.com and scheduled an appointment to get it mounted at this Castleton area company owned location. I received a confirmation email regarding my appointment but when I showed up for the appointment, I found out the tire had not been delivered. An employee called the supplier who wasn't even aware of the order. That supplier said they didn't have the tire available in their inventory. The store employee said he could check other warehouses to see if any of them had the tire in stock as the closest tire at an actual Goodyear installer was in Florida. (I was at a store in Indianapolis). I just canceled the order and went to the Direct Tire store where I normally shop. They had the tire in stock and matched the tire price and installation price I had been charged by Goodyear. The Goodyear store employee said I would need to call the Goodyear corporate number and cancel my order to get a refund on my credit card. At least the customer service rep who took my call on the 800 number was professional. Should have my refund within a week. Meanwhile, Direct Tire has my installation completed. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went in and got 2 new tires on the right side in November and everything was good they usually just take a little long to work on your car but then i hit a curb and had to get 2 new tires on the left side 2 months later. They TOOK 1 of the tires i bought in november and put it on my left side along with 1 new tire and slapped my old tire that was still good on the right side and charged me for 2 tires. BASICALLY i paid for 4 NEW tires (680$) and they kept one of them so i came up there in the morning to see a manager about my missing 175$ dollar tire and he said oh on the paperwork they put on all 4 tires and the tire had to be switched out by you we have nothing to gain from an extra tire and gave me some bs and a corporate number. So they STOLE 175$ for something i cant even get back. For people out there who think mechanics scam you and make your car worse so they can have you back for more money THIS IS ONE OF THOSE PLACES. they can be pleasant but PLEASE if you go to this place check your car immediately after you never know you might be missing your 175$ like i had. read more
