I was able to make my appointment online. The staff were all wearing masks and very courteous. The service was very quick and efficient. When I returned and picked up my car, they parked it close to the entrance because they noticed that I was using my cane. They did this without my asking. Very nice! Goodyear kaneohe. Shame shame on your performance on August 26. We made an appointment 2weeks prior to change 2 tires and a safety inspection. My appointment was set at 9:00 a.m I dropped it off at 8:30 a.m and was told it would be done before 11 , I had to pick up my sister at the airport by 11:20. At 10:30 they called and was i told I didn't pass the safety check due to bad tires??? DUH, you were supposed to change them.. again, it was 10:30 and they did absolutely NOTHING with my car. At this point I needed to find a ride to pick up my sister from the airport. They call me at 1:30 and was told tires just got done but I need to replace windshield wipers and a cracked brake light. Ok so how much will it be to change those things? (WAY TOO MUCH).. I get there and was given the worst customer service EVER. I just paid $340 for 2 tires the least you could've done was give GOOD customer service. Also, I had a Ziploc bag of change that I just collected from my car and some change was missing.. so honestly Goodyear, there are alot of other places in the same town that offer the same services but you by far are the worst.. Jen was a great tech who repaired my tire in minutes - and didn't charge me! I had to push for her to even take a small tip. No one ever tried to sell me more than i needed. In the short time that i was there, i got to use their wī-fi (which works great) and one of the guys fished out the TV plug so that i could plug in my laptop. They are great people, very mellow, not stressed or pushy (unlike another tire place i used to like, with the initials LB), and do good quality work. The waiting area is not as fancy as other places, but so what? This place feels like real community. Coming here from now on! Ok, at least on Saturday when i can't buy tires from one of the Kahuhipa district warehouses and take them out to Unko Erwin in Kahana to install. We came here during covid and there were a few people infront of us. They said about 2 hours, it actually took closer to 3. But Mike was very nice and friendly. Real funny guy and lifted the mood. Don't get me wrong, the lady is very friendly and helpful. But I don't know what's wrong is the local short old guy in the office, he acts like customer begging him for service? Sorry for the long read... I made an appointment online to have an oil change done. There were boxes asking if u wanted to have some free inspections done as well, so like most people, I checked those boxes to have these courtesy items looked at (free 29-point Inspection, free alignment check, free tire pressure and free brake check). I dropped the car off Tues afternoon and told them they could keep it for the evening and I would get it the next morning. I showed up the next morning and paid for the oil change, they suggested that I get 2 new tires and an alignment check in the near future. I said thanks and then inquired about the 29 point inspection and brake check (back story, the car was running rough and noisy, so I assumed the struts and/or brake pads needed replacing). I asked about the rest of the car and he said everything is great...but that's funny, cause it doesn't sound great. So I asked what else they found from the inspections. The man behind the counter first off looked confused and didn't know what a 29-point inspection was and then after a long pause said that I didn't request to have that done on my vehicle. So I showed him a screen shot of my online appointment (see pic 1). And he comes back with "oh well we only did the oil change. The 29 point inspection requires the mechanic to do it and we don't have a mechanic in today." I'm sorry, did I hear that correctly, you don't have a mechanic working at an auto shop...Are you Kidding me. Needless to say, I inquired about the rest of the complimentary checks that I signed up for an all the comments back were that a mechanic needs to preform them and they don't have a mechanic working till the next day. So I won't be taking my vehicle to an auto shop that only has mechanics working on certain days. Also, if you know you can't preform these inspections (free or not) you shouldn't have them as options to sign up for online. Or at least inform the customer when they drop their vehicle off that certain things won't be accomplished. Epic fail, extra pilau this Goodyear, what a waste of a good location. Definitely worth the extra drive to go to Kaneohe Firestone or kailua Goodyear (which has great service and workers by the way). Aloha & safe driving read more

Customer service is terrible... It's like they have too much business and turn you away... I had to wait 10 minutes because no one was at the front desk.. Ridiculously poor service. Never again and recommend you go anywhere else... All I needed was a flat repair and was willing to leave the tire. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to help me first the guy tells me they are backed up and they will get to it today or maybe at the end of tomorrow?!! WTF? I really like the convenient location but the customer service is horrible and it is getting worse! You can schedule appointments online but that doesn't mean they will actually hold true to them. I got an reminder email about my safety, scheduled the appointment online, showed up, and they said that they do not take appointments safety inspections. I was enraged. I rearranged my entire day to make this appointment and now you tell me I can't get an appointment after already making one online and receiving a reminder? Even better, the customer service that I received with I should up to a "non-existent" safety inspection appointment was ridiculous. After I complained about not being able to schedule a safety appointment, the employee told me to take my business elsewhere. So I did! I have been to this Goodyear before and had a women employee and she was amazing! - hence the two stars. But she really deserves 5 stars. She helped me get the lowest price, cared about my needs as a customer, and was extremely friendly. I don't know where she is, but Goodyear needs her back! So you can try your luck with this place. I've had very bad experiences with auto shops in the past, being an older lady I don't know much about cars so I was a bit hesitant when I my old car broke down on me. But "wow" I'm so glad I came to Kaneohe Goodyear. Trevor was very polite and knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and at ease, which is hard to do with everything happening with coronavirus. Most of the people here are very helpful. Mike on the other hand was probably one of the rudest customer facing employees I've ever dealt with. He made me feel stupid for a mistake that I didn't make. They spelled my name wrong in the system (I get it, we all wear masks now so it's hard to hear) but this man proceeded to raise his voice at me in frustration because of something that was out of my control. I work in the customer service realm so I get it, when it's busy and things aren't going your way, you get frustrated. Customer service 101, Mike, don't yell at the customer, especially if it's not his fault. he proceeded to apologize & said, "I don't want you to think I was being rude to you." BS. always went here because it was convenient, I'll make the extra drive to avoid this place next time I need an oil change. Mahalo to the other guy who was a big help. This review is based upon my recent experience getting a blown out tire replaced & having them switch out spare & install it. I dropped off the tire last Fri morning, but was not able to get over to shop in time before closing, so I came in thing next (Sat) morning, per service mgr Tino, their guy would in 8am to install. I showed up on time next day, guy to install tire was delayed getting to work. Tino apologized & when I explained I can't wait due to having a class to get to, offered me a discount when I come back in the afternoon to have them do the job. I came back at noon, took about 1/2 hr but got my tire on, got a discount, & all in all gotta say I was pleased with the result, no complaints & I feel like I was treated like an important customer. Oh, & one last thing. I remember, years ago, when I used to work with my in-laws & deliver papaya, my high truck would not start because battery went dead, in the parking lot near Goodyear. I went over to Goodyear for help, they have me their jumper box, I successfully jumped battery & got my truck going, asked the guy I handed the jumper box to how much I owed them, said no worry, no charge. So in spite of the negative reviews I see on here my comments are based my own experience with this shop, which is positive. read more

This auto service center is within walking distance of our house, but convenience isn't the only thing that matters to me. They have been pleasant in our interactions and have gone out of their way to help with flat tires, tire replacements, and other services. They give a fair price and almost always beat out the dealer on maintenance or repairs. Fails cars for tiniest safety inspection matters, very picky

Came in to get my oil changed, and was promptly greeted by Trevor. He was very polite, and helped me fill out all of my paperwork. I asked if they were also able to change my windshield wipers, which he was gladly able to do. I was running a few errands around the shopping center, and my car was ready by the time I was done! Super great service, will definitely be frequenting here for all of my car needs in the future and reccomend to others as well! read more

I brought my car in for its three month oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. I had an appointment at 12:00 but dropped my car off a little before 12. I didn't get the call that my car was done until 3 hours later... I get into my car and I check to see when my next service is and they didn't change my sticker. I have to call someone to change it for me. Two days after I had my services done my washer fluid for my wipers light goes on, low in fluid. I thought they top off everything and check that everything is full!!!!! Mind you the last service I did 3 months ago they didn't reset the oil change light so I've been driving with that light on for months!!!! I hope they get their s*** together or I'll take my Lexus somewhere else! I live in Waianae but bring my car here since the Waianae location doesn't do a good job. Normally the customer service is excellent. However, within the past 6 months or so, a particular customer service person has become very curt, just get to the point sort of tone. This person use to be very friendly and sociable - asks how you are doing, etc. I don't want to mention names, but this is one of the reasons why I service my car at Goodyear Kaneohe. The only reason I would go to Goodyear is for an oil change. For that you can't beat the price when they have the coupon. My tired and true mechanic told me that. He said that straight up he can't change the oil for that price. He TOLD me to go there. For anything else...run far away...far far away... Quality of work is not always great. I have had 5 quarts of oil flow out 10 minutes after an oil change. Not good. The worst thing...THEY ARE WAY overpriced. I highly recommend going to Ander's Automotive just a mile or two away. He is fair and his prices are HALF of Goodyear. In addition wouldn't you rather support our local businesses? Goodyear is a joke. If you aren't getting an oil change don't go here! read more

If this is the one by the Safeway Kaneohe, across from windward mall, then we had a Badddd first (and only) experience. My husband needed his oil change so we went here because of the convenient location for us . my husband went in and they told him it would be 30min-2 hours because we didn't make an appointment. Ok whatever, but what really pissed me off was that there were literally NO CARS IN THE SHOP and every single worker was sitting on their asses doing nothing. I went in for an oil change and tire change. Now the tire change went off with a hitch but I feel they were trying to scam me with the oil. Get a call saying the oil cap is frozen shut and they weren't able to even take off the cap and I would need to come in the next day cause they would need a proper tool. I check it out when I get back home and the cap isn't frozen, it was broken. The top was completely broken off and the plug was still in there. My husband was able to fix it himself. I ask can I get an oil change and right off the bat this guy says to me with a very poor attitude "were busy today, unless you like wait 3-4 hours make an appointment and come back another time". I look at him in shock and stated "wow what poor customer service skills you have" the other workers look at us and shakes there heads! It's all about the first impression man! I frequently visit this location since they're right across from Windward Mall, so it's just a quick walk across the street to kill some time while waiting for the car to finish being serviced. In the span of two months, I somehow managed to get a nail stuck in two different tires on two separate occasions! Both Julie and Scot always have amazing customer service whenever I go. I also recently went to Goodyear for a safety inspection. While strolling around Windward Mall, I got a call from Scot informing me that two of my tires were too bald to pass inspection and I needed to purchase new ones. He thoroughly explained prices and options to me, and was very pleasant and patient the entire time. Scot was also very great about calling to update me when the service was delayed a little longer than expected. My only tip is to call to make an appointment rather than using their online appointment system. I've tried to schedule appointments numerous times online. On more than a few occasions, I've received calls about needing to reschedule because the times I selected were either not available or the inspector was not scheduled on those days. I guess they do not update their system often, so it's easier if you just call them so you know for sure that the time you want is actually available! read more

I talked to the manager and he didn't care at all. Anyway, they ended up not taking my car until about 2:30 pm. I don't recommend this place at all. I checked my car in at 7am... Had 3 things that needed to be done so I was prepared to wait a very long time. I got dropped off at work and my car was done around 1 something. The service was excellent and they were able to answer all my questions in a very nice way. I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 because if I needed my car within the 4 hours stated, it would not have been ready. This is my second time here and I'm happy with what I get. read more

Brought my 2013 Sienna in for oil change, tire rotation, and alignment.. I purchased the 3 yr alignment plan in February 2016. Was told service would take about hour an a half.. My son and I waited. Two hours. I was charge 86.00 for my oil change. WTH!? Had I known that the oil here cost an arm and a leg I would of went to SEARS for the oil change.! Dang, rip me off!! The next day I drive over the H-3 to the airport.. My van starts to drift slightly to the left. Ugh.. Pull out the specks and look it over- left from needed to be adjusted. So, what the heck is going on? Call Goodyear, got an afternoon appointment and brought my van back in.. Apparently they needed to calibrate the wheel steering... While I'm here I asked about getting an alignment on another vehicle of ours. The guy assisting me asks me if I wanted a one time or a 3 yr alignment plan.. So I asked what's the difference in cost. He tells me about $80 for a one time alignment and $160 for a 3 yr plan.. Duh, I'd chose to do the 3 yr plan.. With the quote information received from Goodyear I called King Windward Nissan.. Low a behold Nissan does not have an available appointment until midweek.. So I call Goodyear back and make an appointment for the weekend. Come in to Goodyear this morning with my truck... The lady rings me up and tells me the cost will be $260. Huh!!? Why, I was told it'll be $180?! She tells me that because my truck is labeled 'Specialty'. Good thing the guy that was helping me the other day was in shift. He asked the lady to give me the regular price.. With all that trouble that just happened the service guy comes back in to the front and say.."Um, you the one with the Nissan? Well, uh, your truck is too new.. We no more the specks for that truck. Sorry, we can not do the alignment." Looks like I'd be calling King Windward Nissan again and waiting till the next appointment time. read more
