I've used Goodyear Kaneohe for the last 4 years. My husband found a screw in his tire this morning, so I suggested he take it to Goodyear to get a patch. He dropped his car off at 8am. Checked on it two times they said it it was next in line BOTH times. At 4pm they called us saying the car was ready, by that point we were already in town for an event. It took over 7 hours to do a patch job. I understand they have plenty of clients, but to take seven hours on a patch job when we were the first walk in of the day, is not acceptable. We asked the female employee who called us if we could pick up the car tomorrow (Sunday) since online says they're open. She said no they were closed, we could come on Monday. My husband works on Monday the exact time they open. We then made arrangements with the female staff member to pick up the car after hours. She would leave the keys in the trunk (we have a spare key) and it would be parked in the back. She then took our card info over the phone, and charged it. We arrive at Goodyear to pick up my husbands car, and it's LOCKED IN THE GARAGE. I'm beyond disappointed in the poor customer service my husband was provided. All he needed was a simple patch job.

Safety check done before the month ended! ***whew***

To get my tires changed and alignment done- I ventured out to Kaneohe after speaking with Brock on the phone a week ago and it's odd how sometimes you can just tell how good people are due to their phone etiquette? That's what I got with Brock and his crew over in the Kaneohe Firestone. Dropped my SUV off at 10, Brock asked if we was gonna wait (we live in Kalihi) and he told me about hour half/two hours which is no problem. He made the walk down to Windward Mall and had breakfast- upon returning, Brock let me know the SUV just wrapped up. Due to another Firestone being careless and awful, I paid and did a quick inspection of my wheels and.. no damage. I was so thrilled after the last fiasco I went through in March of 2025 with the Dillingham Store. If you need work done, definitely go check out Brock and his crew in Kaneohe. He talks to you and explains things really well and his crew seemed to be all happy and smiles which is a sign of a well functioning shop. It was definitely worth the drive from town and this is my new "home store" moving forward. Please consider giving them your business you will NOT be disappointed! Thanks again for everything, we'll see you guys again!

Firestone was the only place she found open and I have taken my cars here before so here I am. I was greeted by the friendliest young man named Lance. He was amazing! He greeted everyone that walked in the same way and from what I saw as I waited everyone left very satisfied. Being that it was a Sunday and not everyone had appointments did not phase him at all. Thank you so much Lance for helping me out and for your great customer service !!!!

It turned out that the part was covered under warranty. We took it in on Monday (Melissa was great) and picked it up the same day. Great service and awesome people. I never write reviews as I really would like to understand people's perspective before writing…read morereviews but me and my ohana are sadly disappointed with our recent services here in Kaneohe Auto Care. We have gotten our cars changed here back then and they used to be good. But now they're rude and have no aloha, only looking for profit and overpricing things. I am not sure if they all just had a bad day, but I tried my best to be really understanding at first. Our earlier experiences over the years were good and we decided that we will stick with Kaneohe Auto Care as they seemed like good ohana and we would like to support them. But our recent 2 experiences changed our view of them. Our recent first experience here was good besides overpriced tires, they promised to give us Falken tires but after the tires and repairs have been done, they told us they weren't able to and changed our tires to MIDAX instead, lying that they were a far more superior brand instead while overcharging us on the tires by $200. After a week, the car had problems again and Kaneohe Auto Care failed to identify an oil leak and oil filter problem which we had gotten checked at another place. When I told them the girl in the front said, "Well what do you want us to do about it?" in a rude tone. On our recent second experience to get our car diagnosed they gave us a set price of $1600 for some car repairs. I also noticed when I first came in, when one of the mechanic was on the phone he was pretty rude to the person in the phone. After confirming again, they were very rude on the phone complaining about the repairs on the car, telling us that we're asking for a lot of repairs after we had already discussed what the diagnostics and the repairs of the car would be, giving us a set price of $1600. After a couple of hours, I decided to call them again thinking maybe they just had a bad day which is why they were rude on the phone and in person, not even making eye contact and ignoring questions I asked multiple times. After thinking about trying to understand them, I called them again to confirm the services and the price -- but to my surprise the person I was talking to wasn't the same girl I talked to in the first place -- it was a man with the same voice that was rude earlier to another customer on the phone. Right from the start of the call, I said Aloha, confirming the repairs and costs, but he was rude right off the bat. He increased the price, overpricing it $1000+ higher than even the Honda dealership here in Windward, and it did not even cover all the car's problems. After discussing with ohana and experiencing that, we decided not to go and just decided on the safety check and oil change after KAC switched our price from $1600 (we had discussed all repairs already and which repairs would be done) but then they changed their mind, doubling the price to over $3000 after giving us a set price of $1600 while Honda ngave us a price of $1900. I tried to be very understanding and polite but the man I talked to was very rude as I kept thinking to myself to try and understand he may have had a bad day and that we're all ohana on the island. We decided not to get the car fixed by them. I came in and while talking and they did not even look at me in the eyes while talking and were ignoring my questions, telling me to sign on the paper instead for the oil change and safety check which costed $140 ($70 was labor). We were looking to have a great service, especially after our cars broke down and the hurricanes on the island have led to many problems only to be met with this kind of service. Where is the aloha? Now they're only looking for profit even higher than the honda dealerships which we originally switched from as honda has usually high prices. I always support local businesses here in Hawaii as I grew up here. But after the service here in KAC me and my ohana will sadly never be going here again. They will find different ways to overcharge you in other ways to make a profit and my first experiences from back then may have been good but multiple recent experiences proved they changed.

Either way, with over 200k miles on it, it was going to be (hopefully) less expensive to swap the engine. I called around and Rockys miraculously said they had a used engine that just came in, and they could work on it later in the week. Unfortunately, if turned out that the engine wasn't exactly compatible. To try to make a very long story short, I ended up leaving my truck there for almost 2 months. I had to order am engine from the mainland that took 1 month to arrive. Once it did, they worked on it right away, and it was done within a week. They did have to change out several items from it, for to is age, but I finally got it back, and it's working great. The overall cost was a bit higher than expected, but it is what it is. The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is for to the fact that they didn't realize that they didn't have a compatible engine in the beginning, so I wasted 3 weeks, and spent over $600 in car rental fees, before finding out they didn't have a compatible one, and I needed to order an engine. At least the work is done, my truck is running great, and they were very responsive the entire time. They do great work.
