I always come here when my tires are low, and they fill them with air and don't charge for the service. I was here last week for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment and I was in right away, and the service was performed while I waited. They have a pop machine, and free coffee and water. The waiting area is large, clean, and comfortable. read more

Had a flat across the street from the Sheridan Dr. location was able to get the car over to Goodyear and was shocked when they charged almost 60.00 to do the repair on the tire, I work right down the street from Dunn Tire on Delaware and it's their policy I was told that they fix flats at no charge, I didn't expect them to not charge me but, 60.00 dollars! needless to say if that's what they charge to repair a tire imagine what they charge for new tires. I will not be going back there and will pass the experience on to others. The one good thing was the woman that took care of me was very kind and cordial. They really need to do their homework on their competition, next time for tires will be Dunn! read more

Scheduled an oil change for the very first time here, I asked in advance if they check fluids, such as my transmission fluid. He nodded. When I got my vehicle, the transmission fluid was empty, and how I knew it wasn't checked is because my wheel was squealing when i pulled off so I took it to a trusted mechanic who filled the fluid for me and informed me that my wheel bearing needs repair. I came to this place with my mom before, and when her vehicle was done, they told her everything that they saw that needed repair. When he handed me the papers for my service, he said nothing. I thought this place was highly reputable, but that was the worst $100 I have ever spent and will never again. read more

Bought new tires last year and they weren't new. Complaining constantly about having to get air in tires until I lost my composure with manager. Tires are not dry rotten and they are refusing to make it right by me. Spent over $400 on 4 copper evolution tires that looked like they have sat in storage for years. Claim made, phone calls ignored and nothing. Informed them of lawsuit if tires are not replaced. Totally frustrated and highly upset with the way they're taking advantage. Will be going in at 11am to have them correct a faulty tire install. My front tire has been leaking air since I bought 4 new ones last year. If they dont remount it properly for free, and seal it up I'll be updating this review! I'm tired of seeing the warning on my dashboard that front tire is too low!!! Been there twice before and Manager Jim wasn't in. I waited 2 weeks and the air has stopped leaking do they finally fixed their faulty install problems. Choosing where to get a wheel alignment is a challenge. Thankfully, I had Yelp reviews. A good wheel alignment requires good equipment, good training, and a mechanic who is skilled. Goodyear has it all, plus there are two bus routes close by. When I called, Chris said they had an opening and to come right in, which I did. Thanks to a Yelp review I used my cell phone to check on line coupons and saved about $10 over the posted prices in the store. I had them do a lube/oil/filter since it was time for that, too. This store is located near #35 and #25 bus routes. I was able to drop my car off, hop on the bus to have Xrays taken at ECMC. When Xrays were done, so was my car. Perfect timing! The work was done on time at the coupon price and the steering is now quite perfect. I'm glad I chose this store for my wheel alignment. read more

Stopped in to plug a leaking tire I incurred from our pothole infested streets of Buffalo before it went flat. Service was absolutely excellent. Staff knew I was in a hurry to get to work and they got me in ASAP. Tire was fixed in 30 minutes. Nice waiting area while getting work done. Got a flat tire and was trying to find a replacement. The Goodyear near me didn't have one in stock (the tire has been discontinued) so Dale called around and found one in Lockport. My fiance drove up to get the tire and I had it mounted at the Goodyear right by our house. The Goodyear here didn't charge me for labor, just for parts, and gave me a discount on an alignment...which I hadn't realized I needed but when they asked when I'd done it last it occurred to me that I hadn't done one since I bought the car 2 years ago. They gave me a print out showing what they were adjusting and had it ready to go in no time. Plus I got a AAA discount. I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend Goodyear in general after my experiences with the Sheridan and Lockport locations. read more

Came here to get an oil change and Dale was very nice, courteous and helpful. I got a discount for the oil change as advertised on the website. They also gave me a AAA discount for getting the brake fluid changed and they pointed a few other things that could use a change but let me know what needs and what doesn't need to be done right away. They are very honest and I didn't feel any pressure to get more done on my car than it needed at that moment. Christian took very good care of my car and gave me his business card. I hope I don't need to go to a car repair shop very often but when I do have to go it'll definitely be this place. read more

Screwed me over. Spent an hour yesterday waiting or a tire to be repaired, after scheduling an appointment and discussing all the details. Only to be told we can't fix that. We can sell you a tire. But we can't fix that one. Nothing was said to me on the phone. And it took so long because we needed to find the leak. It took me 30 seconds to find it. Warning this place will scam you... Absolutely terrible that is the most kind and family friendly way to describe my most recent experience at this location. The staff is kind and nice that's the only positive thing. I have been taking my car here for the past 6 months. The first time I got 4 new tires and took advantage of the Goodyear credit card promotion. The next time was for a flat tire I had from a nail puncture. I also had an oil change. This is when things go south. All three times I went I was told my car was fine no issues. So it's time for my inspection I am taking the shop at it's word assuming this will be a quick easy inspection..... Boy was I wrong they found $1,000 dollars worth of issues. All of which would have been clearly visible when my tires where take off. Issues including rear springs left and right control arms and a break adjustment. Along with some other suggestions that where not required to pass inspection. So here I am without an inspection sticker and a $1000 bill to fix my car. If these issues where addressed properly they might have been able to milk me of some of my money. This was clearly a scam and a feable attempt to rip me off. Considering the next shop I went to was able to make some minor adjustments and inspect my car for under $100.00. All I can say is don't bring your car here. read more

Confirmation received was 4/7/16 9:30am Cost quoted was $19.95 plus disposal fee and tax. Service guy says: Appointment is for 10:30 Show him the printout.. We show 10:30 is what I get. I see the $24.95 price on the wall behind him and ask: The price I was quoted is $19.95 (and I show him the printout) Nope...$24.95 With disposal fee and tax? Nope. What started as a simple brake job turned into absolute chaos with my Subaru. About a week after I got my brakes replaced here I noticed that my brake pedal lost its pressure. At red lights it would sink all the way to the floor. As soon as I noticed this I went straight back to ask them to look at the issue. Not only did they refuse to look at the car they had just worked on they claimed it was a non-issue. When I took my car to the Subaru dealership they told me that whoever completed my brake job not only contaminated the brake lines and master cylinder, they informed that they didn't even put brake fluid into the car! The master technician at Subaru said his best guess was that the fluid they used was actually power steering fluid. Upon hearing this I immediately contacted Goodyear and spoke with Brian and Jim. They both denied this claim and said it was impossible and that I somehow must have contaminated my own brake fluid... These employees were rude and incompetent. Dishonest, manipulative, rude. Awful experience. Stopped for a quick oil change, and was told I needed new tires that were ONLY available for about $1100... I decided to pass on service when they told me this, and that the oil cap was on "too tight, because the last shop did it wrong." When I arrived to pick my (unserviced) vehicle, I was then told I should get tires right away, because there was a screw in my tire, and it was leaking. I drive this car daily, and have tire pressure sensors... Never an issue, and as I pulled away, the sound of the screw was highly noticable, again, a new issue, that Im sure Goodyear created. Almost forgot... Our family mechanic did the tires and oil change for close to HALF the price!! read more

What a joke this place is. I thought this was a place where mechanics work, not where clowns go to mess around. Our company has a fleet of vehicles that we rent from another company and we go to this location due to its close location to our offices. Man, what a waste of time they put you through. We went in for snow tires to be put on - the rental company had approved all four to be done - but these guys put the wrong tires on and tried to pass the blame on the rental company. The tires they placed on this vehicle were not made to go on this type of vehicle, the tires were 30 pounds underweight, the tire pressure light came on, and oil light was never reset. Dale is very nice and helpful, but the manager there "Christian" is the ring leader of that circus. Never have I ever met someone so rude in my life. He always makes you sound like you're stupid when you go there and has this standoffish attitude. We will no longer be bringing our fleet here and will from now on just go to the dealer. I have used this facility in the past and thought they had excellent customer service. I have bought tires from them, get my oil changed, had my brakes repaired. This all changed this past weekend. I went in because I had a flat and told the customer service rep I either needed a tire repaired or a new tire. The response was "we are booked up until after Christmas". I went down the road to a competitor and bought two new tires. I will not use this facility again. I am not sure I will use Goodyear ever again. Kathleen G. read more
