Most recently after parking my key fob became stuck and the starter didn't engage. After trying AAA for a jump (and sold a new battery) I found myself in need of repair when the new battery didn't start the car. Using AAA to tow it over. Ive never been here and honestly have barely noticed it on Edward St when Ive driven by. Set back from the road a bit with their parking lot in front, upon walking in you realize how deep the building is and how much fits in it. (Neat) Well they gladly accepted my car, I had it towed after calling and discussing what I knew with Chris over the phone and make sure they had availability. The reason that I came here for wasnt as serious as I feared. Upon coming back those fears were met by what it cost to pass the NYS inspection. Obviously no fault of their own, I have a 2013 Chevy that is a hand me down from my parents and had already expected one issue that would probably needed to be addressed. (The Tires) Overall Im really impressed with Towne Motor Car, they were genuinely nice with every interaction and gave me the information that I needed to make a decision or had the conversation with me when what I thought was an issue wasnt. What really impressed me was when I had my car in for the starter issue they fixed the key issue (separate issue in my mind) and they even put my slightly fallen bumper back in place. Going above and beyond for a customer, very strange nowadays. But greatly appreciated! Bringing back in for the inspection they were easy to coordinate the drop off (key in the box, but they were open before 8 to hand it off). I received a call mid-morning to go over the issues needed to be addressed and got a timely call and text near the end of the day to pick it up. Plus they have a website where you can review your past service history, and make appointments. They even use your preferred communication method to reply back (call or text). Although I hope I dont need it soon, I think I found a garage to stick with.

I think it is our new auto go-to place for most any automobile needs. I took Lynette's car in for an inspection this morning. She knew it was going to need at least one tire (it needed two) and that the wipers were starting to shred. But there was also a clunk that two other places had not been able to locate the problem, and two days ago the hood latch had broken. Max and the crew did it all. Marylou at the service counter provided friendly and courteous interaction and information. Sammy's began on Tupper St. in 1955 and has been on Niagara St. for the past 20 years. They do collision, towing, inspections, mechanics ...and hood latch repair. The clunk? "Over certain bumps or potholes, the exhaust pipe had been hitting the drive shaft." I paid for a Super Kiss Plus plan and come to find out that Delta Sonic has been doing a basic wash…read moreon my car all winter. The basic wash uses a neoprene brush, that and along with their recycled water that is full of abrasive elements after washing multiple cars all day, has left scratches along both sides of my brand new 2026 vehicle. Delta Sonic's area manager Dave was very rude accused me of lying about the damages and the brush causing the damages. He refused to look up camera footage from February, March and April to prove that yes they did use those blue round neoprene brushes on my vehicle even though that was not in my plan. He reprimanded me for having less than 7,000 miles on my vehicle and told me that is a lot of miles for a new vehicle and that is where my scratches came from. I told him I live in the country and work in Buffalo so yes I have miles from driving back and forth to work every day and that would not cause parallel buff lines with scratches that trail along both sides of my vehicle. The only thing my vehicle was squeezed through since I got it was those blue neoprene brushes that should've never been used in the first place because I wasn't supposed to be getting a basic wash. I paid for a super kiss plus plan. So therefore not only did they damage my car they were charging me for a super kiss plus plan and only giving me a basic wash all winter.

Yay it was great. Why only 1 car wash? 4 lanes of cars and everyone has to merge, into one lane.read more
