I can't imagine it's easy work being a mechanic, so I want to thank that team, too. I almost always come here for my NYS car inspection and I was surprised when my car started making a rattling sound *after* they replaced a part for me. I came back two weeks later expecting the worst- that I'd have to pay again for service to fix something that might be a result of their recent work. I am SO RELIEVED I was wrong! In an hour they stoped the rattling sound with a simple tightening of my heat shield and sent me on my way- didn't have to pay any service fees. THANK YOU for keeping my trust! Ideally the heat shield would have been tightened properly the first time, but I also recognize the convenience and luxury of having people work on a car for me. These guys are always busy, so I still want to give 5 stars again just for keeping my trust! Who can blame them for having to work fast to see as many cars as possible in a day? read more

Goodyear automotive repair shop on Niagara Falls Blvd is the WORST! I had my car towed there as recommended by AAA. They sold me an unnecessary battery without addressing the real problems with my car. It cost me over $400 for my car to stall again. This is in regards to Goodyear in Buffalo NY on Main Street. Unaware that I was sold used tires last year and made a big stink about it. I was not given the chance to get them replaced. I paid over $400 for 4 Cooper Evolution tires. Tires now after 1 yr have dry rot. And manager Jim is refusing to Change them. Complaint made, claim number given, tires inspected. Still nothing. My phone calls are being denied. I told them I was going to sue them,! Tires have a 6 yr guarantee and all parties involved appear to be dragging their feet. Mind you, Goodyear also gave my car a inspection sticker after I told them it just failed state inspection. Trustworthy, not at all!! I'm requesting a chance in tires, so I don't have to Sue them. I stopped by here quickly and was impressed. Super clean and organized on the inside. The showroom was sparkling clean. The employee was very nice. There is some parking in the small lot. They have a large garage that seems busy but in no way frenetic. read more

I didn't necessarily get any work done here but I will give them 5 stars. I made an appointment for a brake service. Took the car in dropped it off and left. They called to update me that the brake system looked fine and that I didn't need anything at all! Went back up there to pick my car up expecting to pay for atleast labor and they didn't charge anything. I know most would expect to pay nothing but at the end of the day it's a business and that's just how it works sometimes. In and out service, truly! I called early in the morning to see if I could get my NYS inspection done. I needed it done as soon as possible due to procrastination on my part. The woman that answered was wonderful. She was able to fit me in and they would have me "In and out." I was skeptical but it didn't matter how long it took, I needed it done. The store inside was spotless. Very well kept. I was greeted right away by the same woman I had spoke to earlier. During conversation she mentioned she was just filling in and primarily worked at another location. Whichever location is her primary sure is lucky! They took my car around to the back almost immediately and completed the safety inspection shortly after. It was a quick and smooth visit. read more

Came here for an AC fix - great job. The desk staff were quite friendly, gave me the information I needed, and was able to pick me up from work when my car was done. I would say that they need to advertise their driving service better - because I had an early appt, they couldn't drive me to work as well. Of note, my windsheild wipers were changed. But, one of them seemed off and broken. I called, went back in, and they just replaced them right there without a charge or hassle. When I suddenly needed 4 new tires due to a blowout, I had no idea where to turn. I called around trying to find the best deal for some high-quality tires. Goodyear was the cheapest. 1. They gave me a $20 discount per tire off the top 2. They gave me an additional $80 mail-in rebate and even provided the envelope and stamp 3. Labor was included (free) They have a comfortable waiting area that is usually pretty quiet. Their customer service is absolutely fantastic. Had my car towed here by AAA because it wouldn't start. I called first to see if they could get me in shortly following the tow and they said to bring it right in. Turns out I needed a new battery and they called me before any installation was performed to make sure I was on board with their diagnosis and willing and able to pay for the new battery. They had my car ready for me within an hour of having it dropped off by AAA. Unfortunately, I was unable to get to their shop to get my car for a few days following their repair, but this was not a problem with them. The battery came to $190 after tax. The customer service was excellent and I felt like I could trust the workers here. I was told I needed new tires when I came to pick up my car and they weren't trying to make an extra buck, I've known I needed new tires and I needed them bad. I will definitely come back here to get those replaced. read more

Our main car suffered a flat and we had gotten new tires here not six months ago from this location so we went ahead and brought the car in. The changed the tire just fine but had broken a bolt off. They originally wanted to charge me over 100 dollars and the said could do it for 40... I knew I wasn't going anywhere with them because I have a boobs and vagina so I called a man who the gentleman would be more honest with. I had the bolt replaced for free after he had a conversation with another man. Then after the repair was made he told me the bolt breaking was not their fault. I would like to know who's fault it was... So if you want to go to a place that attempts to take advantage of women go here. If it's your only option question why they say they're "giving you a discount" because they're obviously trying to cover up some mistake and make you feel like you're getting a deal. I'm not a Buffalo native, so I've been bringing my car back to my hometown for repairs for the last 4 years I've been living here. My car inspection was soon to be expired, so I brought it here for the inspection as it was suggested to me by a friend because her mom knows the manager. I have bad feelings about these bigger repair facilities as I've been ripped off by one before, but I brought it in anyway. When I was standing in line waiting, there was a woman in front of me who was also dropping her car off for an inspection. The man behind the counter wrote "friend" on her paperwork before handing it back to the man in the garage, and was sure to tell him that she was a friend too. Why would that even be necessary if they do honest work? That's when I should've turned around. Anyway, I left my car and spoke with them a few hours later. The man told me over the phone it would cost over $800 AND that was BEFORE they diagnosed my check engine light. I told him I was going to come pick up my car and bring it back the following week for repairs. Well, needless to say, I didn't. I brought my car back to my hometown, had my guy inspect it. $225 for all of the repairs including the repair which was triggering my check engine light. I went for an inspection and was failed. They subsequently told me it would cost $800 to fix the problem to pass inspection. I went to AAA to get a second opinion and passed. After consulting with many people about this issue and the condition of my car, it is evident that they tried to take advantage of me to make a pretty penny. I won't go back! read more

Was really upset to learn that Tom the manager told me both cc joint boots were ripped, after checking I found only one was,and realized we had the drivers side done last August. We had the cvc joint replaced else where$50 bucks cheaper, also Tom said we needed a tire rod, the next mechanic said that was not so and aligned the tires. read more
