Ordered tires and wheel alignment online and scheduled an early appointment right when they open. When I got there, I was behind another person, which was unfortunate. Seems like they double booked and was understaffed at that hour. The staff at the counter said a couple of his staffs called in late. I had to wait in the waiting area for pretty much the entire morning for my car to finish. After I got my car back, I realized that they swapped out my nice metal valve caps on my tires for cheap plastic ones. The wheel alignment report was not very informative and based on what I can make out, it seems like they might have made some of the alignment angles worst. While driving highway speeds, I find that the car drifts to the left when my steering wheel is directed straight. I have to turn my steering slightly right to go straight at highway speed. Plus they didn't get the tire pressure to my car's correct spec. The guy at the counter took his time to tell me about the rebates I can get online which I appreciate. But overall, it had been a disappointing experience from waiting so long, having my nice valve caps switched out, and the worsen alignment. The wait room was also small. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this spot. I would drive alittle further for a shop with better reputation. read more

I made an online appointment to replace 4 tires. The day of the appointment I realized I only needed 2 tires. This was my mistake, but when I told the rep at Goodyear, he said it wouldn't be a problem to do only 2. Well, this rep wasn't available when I picked up the car and 4 tires were replaced. I was given excuses, but this is the type of place this is. Nobody cares, like most of these service facilities these days. When we called to complain they told us will we have to talk to the manager I don't know who quoted you that we had two quotes one was even in paper they just don't care they're just out to get you. Wish I could give this place less than 1 star. My boyfriend took his car in to get 4 tires mounted onto brand new wheels. He had an appointment at 4pm. After sitting in traffic he called to let Goodyear know he was going to be 10 minutes late. The guy on the phone instantly was extremely rude trying to reschedule the appointment even though they were open until 6. When my boyfriend got to the counter he waited 20 minutes for someone to even come up and check him in. Once someone came out they still tried to reschedule his appointment. It took about 30 minutes for them to even pull his car into the bay to start getting worked on. There were 2 employees there, one was doing the work and the other was leaning on the wall doing absolutely nothing. After 2 tires being done and waiting well over an hour and a half he was told that he would have to leave the car over night and come back to pick it up the next day. An extreme inconvenience to everyone. After this disaster we were working on the car and we found gouges in 2 of the brand new VERY EXPENSIVE wheels. This is due to absolute carelessness. If you want anything damaged on your car and want horrible service this is the place to go. read more

Two women walk into a service center... Sounds like the start of a joke, but it's anything but!! Today my wife and I brought her car in due to a leaky tire. We dropped it off and had no clue what was wrong with the tire...we prepared to spend hundreds of dollars as this tire has proved to be a nuisance for quite a while! We drop the car and go about our day dreading the call with the estimate. The call comes and the gentleman says "the cars ready for pick up!" I thank him and dread asking how much will it cost? But i do... He tells me they found a nail in the tire and repaired it at NO CHARGE! I repeat, NO CHARGE! Thank you for not only being the only place around open on a Sunday, but also treating a pregnant woman and her wife with such care! I had a flat tire while driving, I pulled in and asked for service. I was told they were very busy and I would have to wait so I did.after a bit I was told that they couldn't help me. Even though out of 10 bays only 2 were occupied. By then I my tire was completely flat so I asked for help to put my spare on, I informed the management I was disabled and needed help loosening the lug nuts I was told no and had to leave the property, I asked for some air so I could drive off the property, reluctantly they put 10 pounds in and closed the door The shop manager would not talk to me. Excellent and fast service. Simple fix done for free in less than a minute. I brought the car for what seemed to me like a deformed nail. The technician was super busy and despite that quickly fixed the issue. It was a sharp and small splinter of a rock. It was very deeply wedged into the soft rubber. No leak! For free! Displeasure would be an understatement... I first stopped into Goodyear and asked them if they did brakes, the manager replied, "no problem". Great, I set up an appointment and they said to just drop it off any time the next day. Again, great, so far so good. So I arrive the next day to drop the car off and the gentleman behind the counter says "ok, we will take a look and let you know if we can get parts today... I explained that I was leaving town the next day and there was no mention of "getting parts" the previous day. (Mind you, this is 2016 Ford Fusion, one of the most mass produced cars today and I needed the rotors replaced, "parts" shouldn't be hard to come by). Despite this, I just said "ok" and decided not to push. I get a call a few hours later. "Your car is all set" he says. I reply "ok, you replaced the brakes and rotors?". He says "no, there is nothing wrong". I explain to him that the car is downright unsafe to drive when braking on the highway and the whole car shimmys/pulsates/vibrates when you are braking on the highway due to warped rotors. His reply is that he already called GE Fleet (this is a company car and GE needs to authorize repair work) and told them that their is nothing wrong. So at this point I have arranged rides, taken hours of my day to rearrange my schedule and walked from my house to Goodyear and back, only for the employees to tell me that they called GE and told them that their was nothing wrong. Now I have to call GE fleet, explain the situation and tell them that the car is unsafe to drive, that I am leaving town the next day and have them set me up with another shop that can do the work all the while arranging a rental car for me to drive for the weekend. I wish I could say that this we a disgruntled employee however the "tech" that test drove my car was as good a mechanic as the manager was at customer service, DEPLORABLE. I was spoken down to and my time was wasted like I was nobody, To add insult to injury, I am in sales myself (so I value customer service) and I have built both a 1971 Firebird Formula 400 and a 2006 Pontiac GTO LS2 from the ground up, so I would say I am more than qualified to diagnose braking issues. The fact that I have taken yet another 20 minutes out of my day to write and publish a review, should speak volumes. I am coining "GOOD YEAR" as "BAD DAY" because it was just simply that painful. It's not surprising that this place has a 2.5/5 rating...customer service goes a long way. I walked in at 5:00PM tonight. The only two people in the place were workers - one lounging in the waiting area, the other making himself a coffee saying "I'll be with you in a minute" (when he was done making himself a coffee of course). Once he walked over to the counter, he doesn't even look at me and says "picking up?" I said no. I just got a flat tire and was wondering if you could take a quick look at it to see if it needs to be patched. His response was "ya if you leave it over night." Oh I'm sorry I forgot how busy you were pouring your coffee when you don't close for another two hours that you were too busy to take a quick look at a flat tire that was off of my car. Walked in here and needed help with a pretty simple tire issue but I didn't have the tools to fix it at my apartment. I came in and they told me they couldn't get to it until later. When I said thanks but would have to come back because I needed to get to work the customer service rep "Mike" was understanding and told me he would sneak it in right then and there and got my tire fixed and recommended getting one other tire changed out but didn't push any other expense on me at all. Went in for vehicle service today (1/11/2020), I have visited this location many times. And always the same problem - the same grumpy person behind the counter. Gave him the dashboard maintenance code, and he was clueless as to what the code meant, and showed zero interest on how to look it up. I visited the Stoneham location for a simple battery replacement. My car was in perfect condition when it pulled into the bay but when it came out my satellite radio was no longer working. I questioned what they did and they took no responsibility for the issue. I was very disappointed. I went back a day or two later and asked again if there was anything they could do, since it was clearly the battery replacement that took out my satellite, but after placating me and taking the car into the bay and doing absolutely nothing, I again left without my car in the condition it arrived at Goodyear. I called and asked for a quote on a tire/installation. I verified the quote once ( "so tire+install = $Quote") I then asked the entirety of what that quote included, itemized. (why yes, I am in sales) I was told that quote included the tire+installation. I bring my vehicle. They work on my vehicle. Lo' and behold, that quote also included an optional warranty on the tire that they lied to me about multiple times. I'd had work done at that location a total of three times. Each time the work was done satisfactorily and expediently. They are, ultimately, good technicians, but most importantly- liars- and boy let me tell you the one that quoted me (mike) was also extremely rude when I asked why the warranty managed to escape itemization not once, not twice, but three times. A shame, truly, because they seem fairly skilled at repairing vehicles but I will never go back and I frankly don't think they deserve a damned penny of people's money. read more

There were 3 or 4 employees standing around chatting and joking around and not a single car was in any of the bays. The staff at this Goodyear tire store are great but the tow service that Goodyear 800 sent out was awful (Angelos from Revere). They jammed the tow bar under my car causing over $3600 in damages! They have covered most of the repair work but only 10 out of 27 days I needed a rent car while the body shop ordered parts and fixed everything. Now I'm stuck with a $700 rent car bill for something the tow service admits was there fault! Be wary of Goodyear's tow service. read more

This place is a joke I went there to fit tyre sensor and they fit the wrong one so I had to go to the dealer to remove that sensor and fit the Wright one so it cost me $350 for this job and should cost only $150 not only that the service you got from the manager so bad he will treat you like shit Never again.... read more

This past Sunday, I discovered that the tire pressure light was on in my car and I had a rather LARGE bubble in one of my tires. I freaked out. I am usually a very calm, capable female but that goes right out the window when ANYTHING happens to my vehicle. I literally become a freakin puddle. It was almost 6 p.m. and no gas stations were open, nor were any of the big box tire stores. I drove down Main Street in Stoneham and pulled into Goodyear Auto Service Center in a total panic. Mike, the manager was awesome, he calmed me down and said he would take care of me. He put air in the tire and assured me that he would find me a tire (my Hyundai Accent has really odd sized, hard to get tires). He took my name and number and lo and behold, I get a call at 8:00 a.m. today from another Mike that worked there saying their warehouse had ONE tire left and it would be at the store by 10:00 a.m. for me. I ended up going in during my lunch hour (I work close enough that I could run over), and it took less than an hour for them to take care of the car. I was also able to purchase road hazard protection for the other 3 tires already on the car. So for $20 a tire, I can get them replaced for the next 3 years if I happen to hit ANOTHER pothole or curb (which I tend to do quite often). Anyway, I am totally pleased with everyone I dealt with at this Goodyear store, and I highly recommend them! read more

I brought them my truck in for an oil change on Feb. 7th 2018. It was snowing hard that day when I dropped it off. I picked it up and hour later and off I went. A few days later I was sitting in another car and noticed the rear lower quarter panel between the rear tire and truck cab looked awkward and proceeded to take a closer look. I laid on the ground and saw that the panel was folded up under the truck about 6". I went to the other side and saw the exact same damage in the exact same location and both sides had marks like someone had lifted it up on a lift and the damage didn't have any rust yet and it hadn't been on a lift for a long time except at Cambridge tire in Stoneham Ma. I immediately called and drove over to talk with the manager. They denied it over the phone and in person saying there guys would never do such a thing. The manager Mike told me to bring it back and they would put it up on a lift and take pictures. The manager Mike said it looks like recent damage and he confronted the tech saying it looks like a vehicle lift did do the damage but the tech denied it still. They did submit a claim with their insurance (self insured) and I received a call from the insurance devision and they apologized and excepted ownership of the damage. I took it to their preferred body shop who fixes all the damage they do to customers vehicles. I keep calling, looking to settle with zero cooperation. Its been two months with no resolve and they are just plain rude on the phone at this place. Mike, Al and Paul you communication skills and integrity need some improvements. This place is a joke, The first time I booked an appointment for an oil change to ensure i could get in and out quickly but that did not seem to matter. As they took the car they said it would be 1/2 hour shortly after they let me know that they did not have an oil filter and they need to go get one 2 hours later i was out the door with no apologies for my inconvenience. I should of learned my lesson but always will go give someone a second chance so I had a nail in my tire and again made an appointment to ensure i am in and out as soon as possible not sure why they even take appointments because this time they didn't even have a record of it. Here we go again so i got a oil change and a tire repair and was quoted 45 minutes HA HA this time it took them 2.5 hours to change the oil and fix a flat with an appointment this place is totally miss managed if i was the owner i would be very worried. So finally out the door and on the way to the cape and what do you know the tire the just plugged lost pressure on RT93 and needed AAA to come because i was not going to risk my life changing it.
