I went here to get an alignment done for my Acura RSX Type-s. The only issue I had before going to this place was that the steering wheel was slightly off form the center. They did an alignment and now the cars pulls to the right even at 30 MPH. They told me it does that because my car is front wheel drive!!! I know what torque steer is. Torque steer only happens on hard accelerations. My car was pulling no matter if it was in neutral or in a gear. Anyway I could not solve my problem here and went to another professional mechanic. My tire blew out while driving, luckily i was able to yelp and find Goodyear Service Center less than a mile away. Got there and they got right on it. I knew my tires were not in good shape and they helped me get the right ones to replace. They didn't have them in stock, but were able to locate them and pick them up and put in my car in under 90 minutes. The prices and service were excellent!!! Thanks guys!!! read more

I've been going here for almost a decade because the service and prices are incredible. Andy has been like the Uncle I should have had to explain cars to me. I consult him now before doing anything to my car and he gave me great advice when I was getting a new car. I had a problem with my wheel because it was bent from driving through a pothole. I went to 4 different shops and made about 30 phonecalls. First my wheel is the factory kind where you put hubcaps. It was hard to find shops that carries it. one shop gave me an estimate for 50 dollars. the dealership gave me an estimate for 160. in hoping to find a deal, i found this tire place. they gave me an estimate of $102 dollars. I was in a hurry to get it replaced so i went on with it. They replaced it but i am not happy about it. I Believe that they installed my hubcaps inproperly and found it missing when i drove back home. then i bought new hubcaps and they don't fit on the replaced wheel they just installed. I plan on filing a complain and asked for a replacement or give my money back. read more

I really don't want to give a bad review as I have been coming here for about 20 years. The last time they had my van has sealed the deal and I will no longer let them touch any of our vehicles. After oil service and brake job I checked my tire pressure and found 3 at 30 pounds and 1 at 50, 55 is the recommended pressure. After bring the van back for a brake adjustment, the mechanic dented up my center caps by throwing the wheels face down onto the concrete and stripped a wheel stud and broke a lug nut. Both which were found out after I took the van else where. I don't know where they get their parts, but they also quoted me almost twice as much as the dealer for brake drums. I hope Andy reads this and takes steps to getting the place back together. read more

I still have sketchy feeling about their auto service as my car seemed to get other problems that I didn't have before I took my car in. People are kind and nice. Tire prices are pretty good, a little bit more than Costco or discout tire places but you do get better services and you don't have to wait 2-3 hours to get your tires installed. They are offering rebates for new credit cards opened at the moment. read more

I took my car there to show the manager the bald tire that i purchased there in December 2014. He scolded me for not taking care of the car. I said the tire was only 6 months old. I asked to get it replaced l because it is unsafe to drive the car with bald tire. I asked if he could pro-rate a replacement tire. He said no & he is very busy to deal with me. Very bad customer service. Their service manager is very unhelpful, condescending, insulting. I'm never going back to this place. read more

We came here because of a flat tire (perfect end to our honeymoon!) to realize that the 4 tires needed to be replaced (did I mention honeymoon..?) - Obviously it's never good when it happens and you have to be masochist to enjoy that experience. I walked in, immediately had someone check out my car - they drove with me so I could point out the noise I kept hearing, and a couple of hours later the car was ready. Prices were about average, not cheap but not outrageous. Also, I was considering getting all new tires and was advised to wait on the other two - I appreciated that. SCAMMERS!!! I brought my vw in for new tires @ Good year Mountain View Tires in Eagle Rock, an they told me my break pads were cracked...and needed to be replaced asap... I have a 3 year vw that is regularly serviced at VW Pasadena dealer ship...and they always give me updates on how my car is doing...so this sounded odd...I had an appt w/ VW Pasadena a week later anyhow for an oil change, so I declined. A week later, when I brought my car to VW...I mentioned what the Good year service center staff said, my VW service man, Norm, said that was impossible...he checked my break pads and told me that the Good Year folks were trying to scam me, not only were my break pads perfect, but they had lots of life left!!! and...to top it off...Norm informed me that Good Year tire was offering $80 rebate the w/ the purchase of new tires, which the Mountain View GY peeps didn't bother to even mention!!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE LIARS WHO WILL TAKE ALL THE MONEY THEY CAN GET FROM YOU! read more

Worst service ever!!! Came in for a brake service. I was helped by Tony. I was told that only the front brakes need to be changed since the back brakes were still at 6mm. I got the front brakes done for a little over $200. I was told that the car was taken out for a test drive. I drove off and the brakes still squeaks. Thinking nothing of it since they are brand new brakes I just thought that I needed to brake into the pads. Then, 2 weeks later, I had to take the car back since the squeaks were only getting louder. Came in the second time and was told that the back brakes needed to be change as well. I was just lied too from the first service. I decided to not get the back brakes done here since I was lied to the first time. I took the car to be serviced at Honda. And even after the that, I can still hear the front brakes squeak as if it had never been serviced. I came in for the 3rd time. And was told to come back at another time. Over and over, I'm tired of coming to Good Year to get a Bad Year service. Don't come here! They act friendly and as if you are getting the bang for your buck, but the truth is that they will give you the shittiest service. In our third visit, we were told that we might have gotten a bad brake pad. How the heck is there a bad brake pad when they are new!!!! They probably didn't even change it out the first time and yet charged me for it since I'm a lady thinking that I won't know the difference. On this last visit, my husband came and they decided that they will change it out. Never will I visit Good Year ever! I'll just keep it to the dealership although they do charge more. read more

I've had my car serviced here several times and each time I felt that this shop treated me fairly and honestly. After my most recent experience, however, this place doesn't deserve my business or yours. I took my car in for routine service, pointed out to them the location of a slow coolant leak and requested a repair quote. They "diagnosed" the problem and told me that I also had a gas line leak that should be repaired. They give me a quote and said the repair would be labor intensive. I agreed to the repair provided they could finish the work that day. They complete the repair and I'm on my way. Two weeks later, my coolant light flashes on my way home from work. I pull off the freeway and see that my car needs coolant. I try to add coolant but it is now pouring out of the car! I will see whether I can add pictures to this review later. I have my car towed back to their shop after hours and tell them the next morning that the problem is worse. They agree to check the car and within 15 minutes have the problem solved. Apparently, the problem was a loose hose clamp. I start to wonder whether this was the problem to begin with or whether they simply did a piss poor job on the repair. In any case, I don't think 15 minutes qualifies as labor intensive. Again, I've had my car serviced here before so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Another two weeks go by and again my coolant light comes up with my car now overheating. I take it in again and they come back with another diagnosis which will be "very expensive" to repair. At this point, I feel they are no longer standing behind their work and are trying to fleece me for more money. I kept it civil and took my car without them doing any additional work. Bottom line, this place lost me as a customer. I will be sure to call their corporate office and cancel my Goodyear credit card. Never again will I do business with this place. I've never bothered to write a review before but felt strongly enough to let others know to avoid this place. On a positive note, I found another shop that actually repaired the problem for less than $500 and earned my business. read more

Yes I was using Goodyear because had great 1st experience . I had some miss understanding on payment and was really supposed on how un helpful they were I was refused do to delinquent payment which I submitted through my bank is if you see my records I pay every month I was just kind of wrong amount so I called the service department and I thought I was speaking to people in India because I can understand anybody so they finally got me in touch with the supervisor to OK of $390 tire change out whatever 14 of our credit limit and five are all balance and Natalie inher customer service was horrible she treated me like I was a criminal told me she couldn't do anything for me just left me totally hanging so because of that and I explained to her I can make a payment I was in a tough situation and she can see I am making payments I will close my account due to her she's a supervisor and it's just not right so go back to our American tires read more
