Making a reservation on the app was simple and quick. The day finally came and we checked in about 5 minutes before our scheduled time. The check in worker was very friendly and welcomed us in. We waited for a few minutes and we were taken to our table. Goofy was standing in his kitchen taking pictures with guests as we walked by. Service was great. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks refilled. We had a lemonade and a coke. This is a buffet style restaurant and the server was on her A game making sure our dirty plates did not pile up. We tried a few different items that included: Coconut rice mashed potatoes grilled veggies mac and cheese dinner roll french fries chicken tenders salmon carved turkey sirloin chicken noodle soup chocolate chip cookie ice cream mini cupcake The food was pretty good and they kept the buffet stocked. The food was marginal at best and the service was ok (all he had to do was bring us drinks & a bill, then they had a fixed gratuity of $50 in addition to the buffet. The cancellation policy is not fair. I had a reservation for two people 04/10/25 but I had to cancel two hours before due to an emergency and the Disneyland application would not accept the cancellation. Instead it charged the credit card a $50 penalty fee. How greedy. This is unethical to take money from someone's credit card and not provide any food or service. Other customers would have booked those reservations last minute. I think they should get rid of their reservation system and just do first come, first served. The official policy does not account for people needing to CHANGE plans. 04/25 Cancellation Policy You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per person cancellation fee. If you fail to cancel timely and are a no-show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $25 per person. We visited Disneyland with some friends during Christmas break. This was the first place we had dinner!! It was my first time and it was a LOT OF FUN!! The food was top tier and very tasty. Service was excellent even though it was packed. Everyone did have to have a reservation and I think dinner was timed. Goofy and all his friends mingled with everyone while we ate. We booked a brunch reservation months in advance as they get pretty booked up for a while. For the price, you get the chance to take a photo with the characters so you are paying for an experience not just the buffet. They have a wide selection of food too. Lots of healthy options if you want it, like fruits, salad, charcuterie, etc. but they have the usual things like eggs, bacon, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, and Mickey shaped waffles. We tried a lot of different things, including short rib ravioli, some kind of pomegranate and persimmon bruschetta, and more. Most of the options were nothing out of the ordinary but I appreciated the variety. They had some unique items I don't typically see at buffets. It's great for families and they have a lot of stuff for kids. Staff comes around often to take plates, refill waters, or just to check in and they are friendly and personable. The characters come around to the tables too which was cool. I wasn't sure if they would be all that accesible but they come to each table to greet you and see if you want photos with them. It's a fun experience if you get the chance to do it. I wouldn't expect a 5 star brunch but it does the job. This was our first time visiting Goofy's Kitchen and it was such an awesome experience! It's buffet style dining with a massive selection of food. We came for breakfast and the variety was incredible. Whatever you like to eat, they probably will have it. Plus, a huge selection of sweets, too. Having the Mickey characters coming around throughout your meal is so special! Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale all made appearances during our meal. They do dances periodically and will come up to your table for individual meet and greets and sign autographs. First time here. First of all MAKE RESERVATIONS, it's such a busy/popular place that sometimes you might not even be able to get in without a reservation or you wait time is a couple of hours. This is buffet style and you pay per person a set price (alcohol, fancy coffee etc it's additional price). We went for brunch, a lot of food options. Food like: ribs, Chinese food, made to order omelets, eggs, fruit, yogurt, desserts etc etc. A LOT of food, A LOT of options. The place is very cute, and the staff is friendly. Bring your parking ticket to get it validated. We were able to see 5 Disney characters and able to take pictures with them too. We've been coming to Goofy's Kitchen for years and it's always been one of our favorite Disneyland dining experiences -- until now. During our recent visit, my daughter Emma screamed when she saw a huge beetle crawling on the table that had clearly fallen off one of our dinner plates. She was so disgusted she refused to eat anything else for the rest of the meal. Naturally, we brought this to the attention of the manager, Robert, but his response was incredibly disappointing. He offered to remove only Emma's $42 meal from our nearly $600 bill and could not explain how a bug ended up on our table. When I expressed that this didn't feel sufficient, he dismissively told us that restaurants "cannot control what bugs do or do not come in." It wasn't just the lack of accountability that bothered me -- Robert's entire demeanor was condescending and misogynistic, and it was clear we weren't going to get anywhere by continuing the conversation. For a Disney property with premium pricing and a reputation for quality, I expected far better customer service and basic food safety. Unfortunately, after this experience, our family will most likely not be returning. read more

Another amazing girls trip to Disney. We love to splurge on a fabulous dinner. This time we had to go to the original Disneyland hotel. The restaurant is so cute. Immediately you check in and you get to take apicture with goofy. After your seated, you just get up and start eating. It's a buffet so the world is yours. They had steaks salmon, Thai food, pizzas, chicken strips amazing salads anything you can think of. Next thing you know you're munching on your food and the music starts grab your napkins and start swinging them around ! Here they come your favorite Disney characters are right about to dance around the whole restaurant. Don't be shy everybody participates! I really love these moments corporate Disney just really knows how to make you feel like a kid again ! I'm totally on board every time! Choo Choo! We sat and did the math most of the food that you can get on the Disney park is all here to plus more healthier things. So this is a really good way to go. BEFORE COMING Made reservations 3 months in advanced and here is a tip for booking for a big party. In the app, it shows that you can book for 10+ people. I had to book for 16 and It gave me that option but every time I tried to book it, it says there are no reservations (mind you I booked 3 months out right at midnight) so then I decided just too book for 8 people and it was giving me that option so I couldn't invite my other friends. 1 month later I was still bummed so I called goofys kitchen (only do find out they don't have a direct line) but I was directed to a cast member to assist me and she suggested that if I want to book for a big party, I needed someone else to book the other half so I did that. My reservation was for 11:10am and my friend booked the other half but the only availability was at 12:05pm. She suggested that I come to the first reservation and to notify them that my friend also made a reservation and that we would like to all sit together. (If I had known I would have had my friend booked the same time as me to get the same time or a closer time) DAY OF We parked at Pixar hotel (can also park at Disneyland hotel) but our gps guided us here. With dining reservations, they are able to validate up to 3 hours. Reservation was at 11:10am and I got there around 1030 to check in but they would not let me check In until my whole party arrived. Everyone was there by 11:25 and we checked in and got seated all together around 12pm. They did a great job in trying to accommodate like they said. While we were waiting, we were able to take pics with Goofy in his kitchen and we got complimentary digital photos with our dining reservation that weren't straight to the app. FOOD I was very surprised at how good the food was! Usually a buffet is pretty mediocre and you really pay for the experience dining with the characters but I really enjoyed pretty much everything that I tried. The salmon was really good and I'm definitely a chicken tender fan. They had cute Mickey waffles and pancakes too. That had a little bit of everything and not just breakfast foods. I didn't get to try the omelette station but I heard it was good! A Characters came around as we ate and Interacted with everything. It was awesome to see the entertainment and to see the joys on the kids faces. It was my daughters birthday and they brought out a cupcake and lit a candle and sang happy birthday. Let me say that what you pay for is just to have encounters with the characters. Just for 2 adults and a child which is 5 the bill came out to $196 that was included with the tip and the gratuity. I don't think the food was that great at all. The only thing I think was okay was the make your own omelette station. My French toast was dry and hard. The orange juice was watered downed. The biscuit and gravy was not that tasty. I don't think for what you pay for is what you get. You would think because it's Disneyland you would get way better food. I am strictly grading the food. Yes the experience was cool with getting to see characters such as Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip and Dale with our kids. However with a family of four for Dinner, this meal cost us 350 dollars and the food was not even close to being good. The Mac and cheese wasn't seasoned as well as the Chicken Pot pie. The pizzas were nothing special and the tri tip wasn't seasoned either. It's like zero effort was made by Disney to make sure you get what you pay for when it comes to the food. Goofy's Kitchen is a fun, family-friendly buffet restaurant in the Disneyland Hotel. My family has been coming here for celebrations since we were children. The buffet is good, nothing special aside from the fresh omelette bar, which is a huge favorite of ours! We came today for breakfast with our family who came to Disneyland for their first time. The characters were great with the kids but our server Mario was unfortunately below expectations. Many people in group did not get their drinks until the end of our service, if at all, we never ended up getting two of our drinks that were clearly communicated with the server. Our group also ended up clearing the table of some plates as no staff had after waiting for some time, and we also had to go retrieve some silverware after asking and waiting an unreasonable amount of time for it. The price point for this restaurant is mainly because of the location and brand of Disney, which we are all fans of! But if we are spending $700+ for breakfast for our group, we want to enjoy our hot food and drinks. We have never had this experience before so we know this may be unusual. The hostess, characters, and celebrations at this restaurant are all fun and make the trip worth it! read more

The waiters were very attentive and checked on us multiple times. Our mimosas were late coming to the table because I think the server forgot them. When I asked for them the staff was very apologetic and ended up comping one of our meals. I wasn't even upset at all. The customer service was great. I am gluten free, and the chef came to talk to me to tell me what I could eat at the buffet (bacon, sausage, potatoes and fruit) and then he made me gluten free pancakes and a waffle. My 3 year old loved all the characters, got autographs from all of them but meeting Minnie was one of the highlights of our trip to Disney. I would come back her again and again and again. read more

We've visited Goofy's kitchen a handful of times and had a great time every time. After you check yourself in at the front, you get in line to take photos with Goofy!~ A server will call your party over and they'll ask if you want Goofy pins if you are a first timer. If the server forgets to ask, don't worry! There's a basket on the left side when you first enter the dining area so please feel free to grab one. The service was friendly and efficient and the characters were sweet and engaging and fun for both kids and adults. The food was decent although I do wish there had been more variety. Overall, it was a memorable experience and worth the visit for the character interactions. Had a very disappointing experience yesterday at goofys kitchen. I come here often and normally have no issues I was about ready to pay and was waiting for the waitress to come around so I can ask for the bill when my child had to use the restroom so we get up and go to the restroom. While I'm in the restroom I get a call from goofys kitchen saying that I left without paying and I explained that I was in the restroom when we go back to our table which we were still planning on taking our drinks to go the table is completely cleaned and ready for the next party. We recently had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen with a large party and while the service was absolutely outstanding, the food and surrounding restaurant unfortunately did not meet expectations especially since it is part of the Disney brand. Our server was the highlight of the evening--attentive, friendly, and incredibly personable. He made our large family feel well taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could give 10 stars just for the service, I absolutely would! However, the food left much to be desired. For the high per-person cost, we expected much better quality and variety. Most of the dishes lacked flavor, and the overall selection was quite limited, especially for a dinner buffet. It just didn't feel worth the price tag. The restaurant itself needs a major renovation. Came here for Christmas special dinner and the service here went down hill. Our server didn't come to our table to refill our drinks. We had to ask someone else to get our refills. The price was so pricey for the Christmas Special dinner. We had an infant with us and he try to change us. We had to have a manager to come help us take it off and the server didn't ask us if we had a magic key for discount. The food here was great. I love their mashed potato. I keep coming back for more. It is just sad and frustrating that Disney prey's on families by overcharging knowing families with kids will pay it. Don't let the reviews here discourage you. We had an amazing time. From the start to finish, decent food, friendly staff, and best of all you get to have multiple characters come to your table as you eat. When we went to check in, we first got to take a picture wit Goofy. They even ask if you have anyone that may have allergies, and have the chef come directly to your table to give you suggestions on what to get. The chef was nice and was even able to make waffles or pancakes without any egg inside just for my kid. I was worried getting Brunch that there wouldnt been that much food, but breakfast, but to my surprise they had other items like sweet and spicy salmon, chicken and much more. I would say the Omlette Station and Eggs Benedict was one of my go to's on my 2nd and 3rd round. You get to order many different drinks, even coffee that comes with the meal. My wife was able to get a special cupcake and a song for her birthday celebration. We would love to go back sometime, keep in mind that this is not at disneyland but at the disneyland hotel. If you have kids that have not taken pictures with some of the characters, it can be overwhelming to do so. I lost track of how many times I've been here but it had been well over a decade. I am aggressive at rope drop. Goofy's Kitchen opens at 6:30 am. I can get my fill of fresh food and friendly characters from the happiest place on earth before I sprout horns like Mr Driver and run in steeltoed boots to my favorite rides at 8 am. I have a print photo album full of photos from Goofy's Kitchen. I promised I'd show my husband one day. Two weeks ago I went to pick up a Mickey Cake. I had already ran around both parks solo before the rest of my party arrived. I was back to behaving like Mr Walker except... I needed my Mickey Cake! Goofy's Kitchen serves and sells Mickey Cakes! I needed the cake I was happy ti sit on the sidewalk and chow down. It is one of the few places outside the park (some peeps were driving up but didn't want to go inside the parks) that has these cakes. They are not cheap. They look small but they truly are not. With having kids under the age of 5 and one at preteen age, I have to say that Goofy's Kitchen was the best out of all the Disney restaurants for the experience and the immersion into the Disney world. We made a reservation for a party of ten at opening. Goofy's walk in kitchen was so cute and all the kids and adults enjoyed it. They even had a photographer there that was able to capture our family photo with Goofy himself. The food presentation was so cute. It looked like an amazing world for the kids and it made them more interested in the varieties of food than they had at Storytellers. The service was very attentive. Never was our drinks more than empty and our birthday babies were given a cupcake to celebrate. Even the characters were interactive. We come here once a year to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. The reservation system with Disney dining is always a bit chaotic. We rarely get to sit together due to having to book separate reservations. The kids always enjoy the photo op with Goofy before eating. While eating, they enjoy the character parade around the dining area and more photo ops. They have a good mix of food options to satisfy different palates. This is my second time here, but first time with kids! Even though it was so fun to watch our son see the characters for the first time, I feel like the experience with service and food went downhill from what I remember in 2017. The person who checked us in was like a robot, and was not a representation of the happiest place on Earth at all. We had a great end spot right next to the buffet. But I don't know why they keep the lights so dim inside. It's 8:30 in the morning and it should be bright and cheery and happy! Didn't really get to eat much (if you have kids, you know) but I actually think they had less options than last time. Still had fun dessert pizzas but they were just cold and the crust was not good. Without the experience part of it, I would not have been happy paying $50 for that buffet. But I'm telling myself it's justified for the experience...and it's cheaper than taking our two kids under 2.5 years old to Disneyland. Other than that, pictures turned out great with Goofy with several options. They were very efficient with that process. The characters were pretty good about going around to every table still, although I feel like we saw the chipmunks the most. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time online. I was able to do ours about two weeks in advance for a party of 6. Overall I'd recommend doing it once, probably don't need it again once you've done it. We went for brunch during Halloween. The offerings are decent but the price is quite steep unless you really take advantage of the whole "all you care to eat." They keep the buffet area pretty clean and we saw all the characters walking thru the restaurant and stopping at tables. We did not even try to get a picture with goofy the line was super long. It is definitely not a quiet restaurant and kids are running everywhere, so you just have to be careful when just walking back and forth from the table. read more

With the Halloween celebration, all of the staples of Goofy's were offered, but they had several enhancements added to their offerings. Some of the enhancements included, some savory prime rib, sweet crab, crème brûlée, and Halloween inspired desserts to name a few. The food was amazing! The service was impeccable as usual.
