First time here. First of all MAKE RESERVATIONS, it's such a busy/popular place that sometimes you might not even be able to get in without a reservation or you wait time is a couple of hours. This is buffet style and you pay per person a set price (alcohol, fancy coffee etc it's additional price). We went for brunch, a lot of food options. Food like: ribs, Chinese food, made to order omelets, eggs, fruit, yogurt, desserts etc etc. A LOT of food, A LOT of options. The place is very cute, and the staff is friendly. Bring your parking ticket to get it validated. We were able to see 5 Disney characters and able to take pictures with them too. I do believe it's a little price but it's worth it if you're a Disney fan or if you have kids. They will enjoy it and have a nice one on one with the characters. read more

I'm so sorry to give Goofy's Kitchen a bad review, but for me it was not worth the $$$. I've had bariatric surgery and I can't eat very much. We went to Goofy's Kitchen for my granddaughter's 8th birthday and I asked if I could go and NOT eat. They politely said that it was a character experience and everyone needed to pay. "Fair enough" I paid for a meal that I couldn't eat for the experience. The experience was only Clarabelle and Minnie Mouse visiting our table for less than a minute each. NO characters even came by when it was time to sing happy birthday to my granddaughter! Thankfully, she had a wonderful time, but I felt that the "character experience" was 100% not worth the $$$$$$$$$. read more

Very expensive and they give themselves a gratuity of $25 per percent for a self serve, breakfast. Food was not good. Hot food was between room temperature and cold. The pastries were what you could get a a gas station. People are all very nice, of course but it's an outrageous ripoff. read more

We have enjoyed coming here many times, and while we enjoy the experience and the time we have their as a family, I think it has come to an end. We paid almost $300 for 2 adults and 2 children, with no alcohol beverages. Service was great, and friendly, and we really enjoy the characters. BEFORE COMING Made reservations 3 months in advanced and here is a tip for booking for a big party. In the app, it shows that you can book for 10+ people. I had to book for 16 and It gave me that option but every time I tried to book it, it says there are no reservations (mind you I booked 3 months out right at midnight) so then I decided just too book for 8 people and it was giving me that option so I couldn't invite my other friends. 1 month later I was still bummed so I called goofys kitchen (only do find out they don't have a direct line) but I was directed to a cast member to assist me and she suggested that if I want to book for a big party, I needed someone else to book the other half so I did that. My reservation was for 11:10am and my friend booked the other half but the only availability was at 12:05pm. She suggested that I come to the first reservation and to notify them that my friend also made a reservation and that we would like to all sit together. (If I had known I would have had my friend booked the same time as me to get the same time or a closer time) DAY OF We parked at Pixar hotel (can also park at Disneyland hotel) but our gps guided us here. With dining reservations, they are able to validate up to 3 hours. Reservation was at 11:10am and I got there around 1030 to check in but they would not let me check In until my whole party arrived. Everyone was there by 11:25 and we checked in and got seated all together around 12pm. They did a great job in trying to accommodate like they said. While we were waiting, we were able to take pics with Goofy in his kitchen and we got complimentary digital photos with our dining reservation that weren't straight to the app. FOOD I was very surprised at how good the food was! Usually a buffet is pretty mediocre and you really pay for the experience dining with the characters but I really enjoyed pretty much everything that I tried. The salmon was really good and I'm definitely a chicken tender fan. They had cute Mickey waffles and pancakes too. That had a little bit of everything and not just breakfast foods. I didn't get to try the omelette station but I heard it was good! A Characters came around as we ate and Interacted with everything. It was awesome to see the entertainment and to see the joys on the kids faces. It was my daughters birthday and they brought out a cupcake and lit a candle and sang happy birthday. We've visited Goofy's kitchen a handful of times and had a great time every time. After you check yourself in at the front, you get in line to take photos with Goofy!~ A server will call your party over and they'll ask if you want Goofy pins if you are a first timer. If the server forgets to ask, don't worry! There's a basket on the left side when you first enter the dining area so please feel free to grab one. The service was friendly and efficient and the characters were sweet and engaging and fun for both kids and adults. The food was decent although I do wish there had been more variety. Overall, it was a memorable experience and worth the visit for the character interactions. Just a little more food selection and it would've made it perfect! **FYI** -Your entire party must be present for you to check in. -If you want to cancel, you must cancel at least the day before or you will get charged. -As of 04-27-2025, there's a three-hour parking validation if you park at the Disneyland Hotel -Restrooms are located a short walk from where you initially checked in. read more

I had the best time at Goofys Kitchen. First, I must say this is a buffet that cost. 60.00 plus per adult but that being said it's a great place. We wanted to avoid the crowds at Disneyland so we took the Monorail over to the Disneyland Hotel. We had reservations. After taking photos with Goofy, we were seated. Table service varied with dinner and lunch. (We were there twice) But overall it was acceptable. The characters make the rounds to all tables and that is fun. The food is pretty good. Nice selection of salads, main dishes, children's preferences, and desserts. The place is clean, cool, and well designed. Try this place if you are in the area. Located in the Hotel. read more

We recently had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen with a large party and while the service was absolutely outstanding, the food and surrounding restaurant unfortunately did not meet expectations especially since it is part of the Disney brand. Our server was the highlight of the evening--attentive, friendly, and incredibly personable. He made our large family feel well taken care of and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could give 10 stars just for the service, I absolutely would! However, the food left much to be desired. For the high per-person cost, we expected much better quality and variety. Most of the dishes lacked flavor, and the overall selection was quite limited, especially for a dinner buffet. It just didn't feel worth the price tag. The restaurant itself needs a major renovation. As a Disney dining experience, I expected so much more. Spend your money elsewhere! read more

I wish I could give Goofy's Kitchen 10 stars! We had the best time here. Everything about it was amazing. The characters. The mimosas. The food. And the service was great! The waiters were very attentive and checked on us multiple times. Our mimosas were late coming to the table because I think the server forgot them. When I asked for them the staff was very apologetic and ended up comping one of our meals. I wasn't even upset at all. The customer service was great. I am gluten free, and the chef came to talk to me to tell me what I could eat at the buffet (bacon, sausage, potatoes and fruit) and then he made me gluten free pancakes and a waffle. My 3 year old loved all the characters, got autographs from all of them but meeting Minnie was one of the highlights of our trip to Disney. I would come back her again and again and again. read more

I loved Goofy's kitchen . The employees are friendly and the food is delicious . You are never too big to take a pic with Goofy or all the other characters that pop in during meal time. There is a point where the characters come in a group and everyone raises their napkins. So cute! I came here for Father's Day. I don't know if there is a special menu that day, but I know that my father was satisfied, and this was where he wanted to be. Came here for Christmas special dinner and the service here went down hill. Our server didn't come to our table to refill our drinks. We had to ask someone else to get our refills. The price was so pricey for the Christmas Special dinner. We had an infant with us and he try to change us. We had to have a manager to come help us take it off and the server didn't ask us if we had a magic key for discount. The food here was great. I love their mashed potato. I keep coming back for more. This isn't the first time here, but I will say the prices are so very expensive. Our bill was almost $300 for 2 adults and a 5yo. We had the regular food and we each had one alcoholic beverage. We don't come for the food or ourselves, believe me. No normal person would pay $300 for chicken strips and mashed potatoes. We came for our kid to have the experience and to enjoy himself. It is just sad and frustrating that Disney prey's on families by overcharging knowing families with kids will pay it. What a great experience! It's located at the Disney hotel and you start off with pictures with Goofy once they call your name. There are many buffets at Disney but this one is so solid. We went for brunch during Halloween. The offerings are decent but the price is quite steep unless you really take advantage of the whole "all you care to eat." They keep the buffet area pretty clean and we saw all the characters walking thru the restaurant and stopping at tables. We did not even try to get a picture with goofy the line was super long. It is definitely not a quiet restaurant and kids are running everywhere, so you just have to be careful when just walking back and forth from the table. read more

Don't let the reviews here discourage you. We had an amazing time. From the start to finish, decent food, friendly staff, and best of all you get to have multiple characters come to your table as you eat. When we went to check in, we first got to take a picture wit Goofy. They even ask if you have anyone that may have allergies, and have the chef come directly to your table to give you suggestions on what to get. The chef was nice and was even able to make waffles or pancakes without any egg inside just for my kid. I was worried getting Brunch that there wouldnt been that much food, but breakfast, but to my surprise they had other items like sweet and spicy salmon, chicken and much more. I would say the Omlette Station and Eggs Benedict was one of my go to's on my 2nd and 3rd round. You get to order many different drinks, even coffee that comes with the meal. My wife was able to get a special cupcake and a song for her birthday celebration. We would love to go back sometime, keep in mind that this is not at disneyland but at the disneyland hotel. If you have kids that have not taken pictures with some of the characters, it can be overwhelming to do so. This experience makes it so much easier as they are really friendly, and by the time we were about to leave, my kid was trying to give high fives to any character he saw. Until next time ! read more

We went during their Halloween celebration. At $75 a pop, I can say that it was worth it. With the Halloween celebration, all of the staples of Goofy's were offered, but they had several enhancements added to their offerings. Some of the enhancements included, some savory prime rib, sweet crab, crème brûlée, and Halloween inspired desserts to name a few. The food was amazing! The service was impeccable as usual. My kids most enjoyed the characters which were dressed in Halloween costumes! Overall, the ambiance is typical of any Disney restaurant, clean, well themed, and fun for the whole family. read more

I lost track of how many times I've been here but it had been well over a decade. I am aggressive at rope drop. Goofy's Kitchen opens at 6:30 am. I can get my fill of fresh food and friendly characters from the happiest place on earth before I sprout horns like Mr Driver and run in steeltoed boots to my favorite rides at 8 am. I have a print photo album full of photos from Goofy's Kitchen. I promised I'd show my husband one day. Two weeks ago I went to pick up a Mickey Cake. I had already ran around both parks solo before the rest of my party arrived. I was back to behaving like Mr Walker except... I needed my Mickey Cake! Goofy's Kitchen serves and sells Mickey Cakes! I needed the cake I was happy ti sit on the sidewalk and chow down. It is one of the few places outside the park (some peeps were driving up but didn't want to go inside the parks) that has these cakes. They are not cheap. They look small but they truly are not. With having kids under the age of 5 and one at preteen age, I have to say that Goofy's Kitchen was the best out of all the Disney restaurants for the experience and the immersion into the Disney world. We made a reservation for a party of ten at opening. Goofy's walk in kitchen was so cute and all the kids and adults enjoyed it. They even had a photographer there that was able to capture our family photo with Goofy himself. The food presentation was so cute. It looked like an amazing world for the kids and it made them more interested in the varieties of food than they had at Storytellers. The service was very attentive. Never was our drinks more than empty and our birthday babies were given a cupcake to celebrate. Even the characters were interactive. My girls loved seeing them and interacting with their favorite Chip and Dale. I definitely recommend for those that have young kids. It was a pretty penny but worth it. read more

It's been a few years since we last dined here. Not much has changed, but maybe the Cast Members' service has improved and the cleanliness of the restaurant has also improved. The restaurant was busy, but our wait time after checking in on the Disney app was very short. We were able to take photos with Goofy and get seated within 5-10 minutes of our dinner reservation time. The food was fine quality and the buffet had lots of options. Would like for them to add fried chicken back to their buffet. If you like desserts, you will enjoy this buffet, and might need to go back for a second plate of desserts. It was nice that they make their servings small so you can try many different options. The best part of the evening would be characters all coming by tables and spending a few minutes to greet you. And if your kids are absent from the table, the characters will remember and return when your kids are back from the buffet lines. All in all, Goofy's Kitchen is a great way to kick off your Disney vacation and convenient option if you are staying onsite. read more

We come here once a year to celebrate my sister in law's birthday. The reservation system with Disney dining is always a bit chaotic. We rarely get to sit together due to having to book separate reservations. The kids always enjoy the photo op with Goofy before eating. While eating, they enjoy the character parade around the dining area and more photo ops. They have a good mix of food options to satisfy different palates. It's pricey to eat here but you get the character visits without the Disneyland crowd. read more

This is my second time here, but first time with kids! Even though it was so fun to watch our son see the characters for the first time, I feel like the experience with service and food went downhill from what I remember in 2017. The person who checked us in was like a robot, and was not a representation of the happiest place on Earth at all. We had a great end spot right next to the buffet. But I don't know why they keep the lights so dim inside. It's 8:30 in the morning and it should be bright and cheery and happy! Didn't really get to eat much (if you have kids, you know) but I actually think they had less options than last time. Still had fun dessert pizzas but they were just cold and the crust was not good. Without the experience part of it, I would not have been happy paying $50 for that buffet. But I'm telling myself it's justified for the experience...and it's cheaper than taking our two kids under 2.5 years old to Disneyland. Other than that, pictures turned out great with Goofy with several options. They were very efficient with that process. The characters were pretty good about going around to every table still, although I feel like we saw the chipmunks the most. Make sure you make reservations ahead of time online. I was able to do ours about two weeks in advance for a party of 6. Overall I'd recommend doing it once, probably don't need it again once you've done it. It's also a good alternative to ease your kids into the Disney experience, especially if they're too young to fully appreciate Disneyland. read more

It's really more for the experience than the food here but nothing short of magical. Upon check in, we lined up to meet Goofy while waiting for our table. The PhotoPass is included with dining. You can take a picture with Goofy later but I recommend taking a picture first as the line gets longer throughout the day. Once our table was ready, the hosts gives us pins exclusive to Goofy's Kitchen and leads us to our table and takes our drink order. Food is buffet style. It's typical buffet food with more of an emphasis on kid friendly food. It's a bit old school in here but adds to the charm. Characters make their rounds to each table and there is a parade about every 30 minutes (get ready to wave those napkins!). Characters included are Goofy, Pluto, Chip n Dale, and Minnie Mouse. There is no Mickey. A few characters had missed my table so I told the server and they were sure to keep checking on us and had the characters come over. I dined here before our park visit and I'm really glad we did it that way. My kids got to meet and get the character signatures so we didn't have to spend time at the park to meet these same characters. We didn't meet that many characters at the park actually and the bulk of the character meet and greets and signatures were from Goofy's Kitchen so it was definitely worth dining here. Children are $35 and adults are $60. Goofy's Kitchen is located inside Disneyland hotel. Gratuity of 18% is automatically included. read more

Our family really enjoyed the Goofy's kitchen experience. We have twin boys who are 2 and a half years old, and an infant. We went for dinner. When we got there at our reservation time we got to take a photo with Goofy, then the staff promptly sat us for dinner. One of my children has food allergies and the chef came over to talk to me and walk me around the buffet to chat about what he should avoid. The chef was patient and knowledgeable. There were a variety of food choices for children and adults alike and everything we had was wonderful. During dinner we were visited by Minnie, Pluto, and Alvin and the Chipmunks. So much food, little room for dessert! I honestly forgot how much I missed buffets (thanks Covid!). Let me just say it is NOT cheap! $35 per child (under the age of 9 years). I clearly did not pay attention to that minor detail. $59.99 per adult. Also, after spending over your planned budget, there will be a gratuity of 18% automatically added to your bill, thanks Disney. There is a limit on alcoholic beverages, 2 per guest, just fyi. If you do not plan on going to Disneyland after eating, please park at Disneyland Hotel self-parking lot because they validate up to 3 hours. Service was great, Antonio was an awesome server and very attentive. Characters that came to visit our table were Pluto, Minnie, Chip & Dale. I wish there were more characters maybe even princesses that were included with the dining experience. We made reservations for character dinner for our first day at Disneyland to start off our trip. We went just after labour day but their Halloween/fall menu was out as the park had started the oogie boogie bash. You're greeted at the front with meet and greet opportunity with Pluto. Very shortly after our reservation time we were called to our table. Our server came to greet us and took our drink orders. Salad bar was pretty good. They had fresh greens where you could build your own. I tried their prepared seasonal salads, the farro salad and the butternut squash salad. They were both tasty. For cold seafood they had crab claws and cocktail shrimp. Protein there was chicken mole, salmon, prime rib, Turkey, pork ribs I tried the chicken and salmon, my husband tried the prime rib and we both thought they were okay Children has mostly carbs to be expected Mac n cheese, bread, pizza. Everything was okay nothing special Dessert table is pretty big There was cookies, mini cupcakes, seasonal sweets like apple, pecan and pumpkin pie, blondies, crème brûlée, jello and ice cream bar We tried almost everything and nothing stood out At the end of the day it's about character experience. The kids met Pluto, goofy, mini mouse and dale. During our almost one and half hour there they met all the characters almost twice. Was the meal worth $350 for two adults and two kids? Absolutely not. I think early of sandwich followed by churros and dole whip would be way better and would come to under a $100 for whole family The worst part was there's only one bathroom outside of the restaurant and there was only one stall! I did not need it but there was also no changing table in that bathroom and another mom was struggling. Very odd for a family vacation destination. Been here about 5 times and the service has never been good. The service here has been okay every single time. The number of characters you meet depends on the day- sometimes we only saw 2 characters and other times we saw 4. The food is pretty decent- we like the carving station. The chairs, tables, and floors always feel sticky to me. Yesterday, I told my husband I felt like we were at Chuck-E-Cheese since everything was sticky. My husband and I decided that we won't be coming back here on our own after doing Princess Breakfast at the Napa Rose (that was amazing)! You don't get some of the major characters like Mickey and Donald, but we saw Goofy, Minnie, chip, dale, and Pluto there.
