It's has been as several years since we have dined at Goofy's Kitchen inside the Disneyland Hotel. Today, on their actual birthday (7/24), with a noon reservation, we tried this nostalgic place again. What better way to celebrate my twins' birthday than with their fun drama friends. At first, we were underwhelmed as it seemed like the characters were less enthusiastic and animated. Goofy was acting "nonchalant" as the these teens put it, which is uncharacteristic of his personality. Maybe it was because they aren't little kids anymore, or maybe it was because it was towards the end of the dining experience and the cast was tired? We gave them the benefit of the doubt and focused on dining. Minnie was on the mellow side and Dale wasn't as dorky as usual. Pluto was playful and nice. All of them were courteous hosts per the usual standard. Then, I noticed Chip (Dale's counterpart), being quite playful and animated with some of the guests. After one of the character dance parades, on their way out on their break, Chip interacted with our table by playing a prank taking one girl's jacket and pretending it was stolen by one of the birthday girls. Everyone was laughing and invested. From this point on, it was our highlight to seek out Chip. He did not disappoint. Now, this was the level of interaction we were looking for. He never passed our table without acknowledging us. Whomever this wonderful cast member was, thank you! Please don't ever change and keep up this wonderful energy. Everyone at the table was thoroughly entertained and fully engaged. Our girls said, "Chip was the GOAT!" Towards the end of our dining experience, the other characters all started to loosen up and come by. ALL of them were so gracious and patient in taking individual pictures with each member of our party for their autographs books. They stopped by frequently and checked in on us with their interactive personalities. Minnie, hostess with the mostess, asked about our dining experience and love of the food. Since we were near the exit, all the characters would come by, hang out, and play around with our party and then move on. What started out as a mellow experience, ending up being better than what we hoped for our girls' birthday! They all made it so special and wonderful that we left a gratitude note for the cast. We even left one specifically for Chip with Ashley, the Character Host. She was amazing and helped to inform us about how we can leave a raving review about our experience (through the app). Mario, our waiter, made sure our dining needs were met and that the birthday girls received their birthday cupcakes with a festive celebratory song. All in all, this was an excellent experience. We have great Goofy's Kitchen memories stemming from the time the kids were babies until their pre-teens. Thank you, to all the cast members, who helped to make our girls' birthday extra special and memorable.

Goofy's Kitchen is a character dining option at the Disneyland resort inside the Disneyland Hotel. They validate three hours of parking so that gives you time to eat and walk it off after at downtown Disney. The check-in process is easy and while you're waiting to be called up, you can take your photo with Goofy in his kitchen. There is a cast member there taking photos and it's complimentary for your visit. They give you a photo pass so you can download it from your Disneyland app. Service is always stellar in any area of the resort. Our waitress, Barbara, took excellent care of us. When you arrive at your table, there are Goofy's Kitchen pins waiting for you and they take your drink orders immediately. Alcohol and any special crafted drinks are extra but you get your regular fountain drinks and juices for the kids. We did the dinner buffet and it had some good options. Their kale and broccoli salad were really good. I had some honey glazed salmon and it was as good as you would expect honey glazed salmon to be at an endless buffet. They had a carving station for various protein option and the kids section had pizza, Mac and cheese, corn dogs, fries, and chicken tenders. Their dessert spread was great! I really enjoyed their crème brûlée and carrot cake. Barbara offered some coffee to pair with my dessert, which I was dying for but I passed on it because coffee at 6 pm is never a good idea. My niece got to see Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, Donald, and Pluto while we enjoyed our food. She jumped in excitement and the characters did such a good job interacting with her. It's a must-do if you have kids.

Great experience you definitely are able to meet with the characters and get the autographs and photos you might miss out on while in the parks. Good was a little pricey for a buffet but the fruit was exceptionally fresh. Served was also beyond words kind! And the characters were utterly hilarious as always it makes you feel like a big kid.

I don't know why all the negative reviews here for Goofy's Kitchen. No one should be going in thinking you're getting a Michelin star dining experience. You're there for the characters and the food is buffet food. Honestly everything I ate today was tasty and I would order it again. The biscuits and gravy were the only miss for me. The tri tip was flavorful and tender. The miso salmon was delicious. The bacon was thick and crispy. Made to order omelette was great and had a nice cheese pull too! Service was excellent and our drinks were continuously refilled and she even got us some drinks to go once we were done.

Goofy's Kitchen is one of our favorite character dining experiences at Disneyland. The food spread is impressive, and whether you're visiting for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there's truly something for everyone. There are plenty of options for both adults and kids, from classic comfort foods to healthier choices, and don't even get me started on the desserts. There are so many sweet treats to choose from that it's hard to save room for all of them! The real highlight, though, is the character interactions. The characters spend a lot of time visiting tables, taking photos, and interacting with guests, and we've always had great experiences. It never feels rushed, and it's a fun way to meet multiple characters without standing in long lines in the parks. Is it expensive? Absolutely. But between the variety of food, the quality of the character interactions, and the overall fun atmosphere, we've always felt it was worth it. If you're looking for a Disney dining experience that's fun for the whole family, Goofy's Kitchen is hard to beat.

We always LOVE dining at Goofy's kitchen! Character dining is so fun and the buffet is delicious! Food-10/10. We usually go for breakfast for the Mickey shaped waffles. They are soooo yummy. They even have gluten free ones (you need to ask your server about it) and they are really good. It's a buffet full of lots of breakfast, brunch, and desserts. The food is good and unlimited. Characters- 100/10. Character dining is so fun! Before you get seated, your party takes a picture with Goofy in his kitchen setup. Characters also come by to every table so everyone has a chance to meet them and take pictures/videos. Every so often, they also do a little parade through the restaurant which is really fun. They also have different outfits for the holidays, which is really cute! Service- 10/10. Service is great! So welcoming and kind! Extras- We got free validated downtown disney parking which is nice. If it's someone's birthday, they will bring a birthday cupcake!

We took our 15-month-old daughter to Goofy's Kitchen and it was such a special experience. At that age, you never know how they'll react The characters were amazing with her. They were gentle, playful, and took their time so she wouldn't feel overwhelmed. Seeing her little face was priceless .

Overpriced, yet somehow the memories made here are worth every penny. We had some great interactions with the characters. Only complaint is regarding cleanliness... at one point the syrup ramekins were all dirty in the "clean" spot by the food. Other than that our wait staff and host were great. Not sure if we would do it again...but don't regretting doing it at all.

The bump on his head after he fell.

We've always loved coming here for kids' birthday celebrations, but unfortunately this last experience is one I'll never forget. During our visit, one of the characters accidentally bumped into my child, causing him to fall and hit his forehead on the floor. I'm very thankful that a nurse was brought over to check on him and that a report was taken immediately. However, after the incident I was extremely shaken and uncomfortable. I could barely enjoy my meal because my focus was entirely on my son and making sure he was okay. Despite what happened, we were still charged full price for our meal, which was disappointing considering the circumstances. Thankfully, we had not entered the park that day, but the incident completely changed the experience for our family. I kept my son right by my side afterward while walking back to our table to feed him. I understand accidents can happen, but I do think the characters should be more careful and avoid walking too quickly around small children. I hope this feedback helps improve safety for other families visiting in the future.

We had a great experience here back in November of 2025 for my nieces 7th birthday. We had a reservation for somewhat of a large party and we didn't have to wait very long for our table to be ready. Once we sat down we were greeted by the best waiter. He is hands down the best, is hilarious, and did a great job helping us if we needed anything. I wished I remembered his name, but I would come back if it meant he was our waiter again. I felt like the food selection was better than at Storytellers. It wasn't pure chaos inside while we were there. We saw so many characters and even saw some of them more than once. I enjoyed that they danced and did a march through the entire restaurant like a little cavalcade. The food was pretty good too. Just standard for buffets. I'd love to come back here when they're dressed in their Halloween attire or during Christmas time next. Goofy's Kitchen is located inside the Disneyland Hotel and you don't need to stay at the hotel in order to dine there. If you're visiting the parks, you'll have to walk all the way to the end of downtown Disney and out past security check in to get to the hotel. That means when you're done you will need to go through security again to get back into downtown Disney. They don't allow Disneyland scooters into the hotel so you will have to park them right outside security and walk to the hotel from there. If you rented from a 3rd party company those are allowed. The walk from security to the hotel isn't very long.

    Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween! - September 2025
    Diele K.

For my birthday, I booked Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates Halloween! Breakfast to try this location out for the first time. I've heard a lot about it, but never had someone to dine with me and didn't want to do it solo. It is a bit steep of a price for breakfast, but the buffet does offer quite the selection. From a fresh salad bar to Mickey Shaped Waffles and Pancakes to even chicken tenders and Mac n Cheese even at breakfast time. Heck, there's even ice cream and toppings! I definitely think anyone could find something they'd enjoy here with the selection of items. For $69, I'm not sure it was worth the value unless celebrating something and not my every Disney trip stop for dining. Though the service, characters, and selections were great the ambiance was dwindled by the commotion in the dining area. I get that there are a lot of kids as this is a highly sought after experience for children, but I found the noise to be quite jarring. Even when they played music as it was quite loud were we were seated. A feel times were overstimulating, but it still was a great experience that I'd recommend to others. Get those napkins ready to twirl in the air - time to celebrate with Goofy and friends. Have those cameras or cell phones ready to snap photos as characters do roam throughout your meal. Wherever you decide to dine, have a magical day!

Went to Goofy's Kitchen and honestly felt it was overpriced for what you get. For four people, the total was pretty high, especially since the tip is already included. The character experience was underwhelming -- we only saw a few characters, and Minnie was the only main one. For that price, I expected to at least see Mickey. The food was just mediocre. There are options like prime rib, shrimp, pizza, and chicken nuggets, but nothing really stood out in terms of taste. I think it might be worth it if you're bringing kids for the experience, but as an adult, I wouldn't recommend it. I'm glad I tried it once, but I wouldn't go back.

Everything went well! The food at goofy's kitchen was cooked perfectly. We did the dinner buffet. I do wish they had melted butter for the crab. But that's just a personal preference. This buffet is so convenient because it's open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! You can eat here before going to the park. Pro tip; make a reservation on the Disneyland app ahead of time!! At least one week. This is a popular buffet and it gets really busy. Meeting the characters was so lovely. They come out every 10-15 minutes. My toddler's reaction to meeting them were priceless. Kids 2 and under eat free. Prices vary depending on which time you go. They accept walk-ins, but it's not guaranteed. They have breakfast pizzas. Ambiance is loud and fun.

Do they ask you to leave breakfast, when brunch starts?

    No.

    Free parking and where?

Go to the Disneyland Hotel Parking, tell the cast member at the booth you are there for Goofy's Kitchen, they will hand you a parking ticket. Take the ticket with you when you park your car. When you check in at Goofy's you can ask the hostess or…

We're celebrating my daughter's birthday. I saw that you have Mickey Mouse birthday cakes. Can I order one for our dinner tonight?

Tell the waiter that you are celebrating your son BD. They are very tentative to the detail. Ours provided with cake and special diet for our grandson who is allergic to a lot of things.…

I am trying to make reservations online and no date or time is available all the way through October 12, does anyone know how to get reservations?

That's odd. I reviewed the availability for 4, and there were plenty of slots. You might want to call them directly to make the reservation for a larger party.

To someone who has been in the past month, do they still serve pizza, chicken strips, Mac n cheese etc at breakfast/brunch time?

Yes they do! Usually more towards brunch time.

Are they allowing pictures with the characters again? In 2021 when we went last they just danced around and never came to the tables. In 2019 they did pictures and characters at each table. Just want to know if it's normal again.

Yes lots of pictures happening when the characters meet and greet at the table!

Do they give a little birthday cupcake at breakfast or only dinner?

For breakfast yes dinner I'm not to sure

Are reservations needed? Or can you just show up and wait?

    Must have reservation

I am thinking of making reservations here for my daughter's birthday (since Napa Rose with the princesses are all booked). Do you prefer the breakfast or dinner option? Also, do I need a park reservation for this? Do they do anything for birthdays?

Great news! You do not need a park reservation for Goofy’s Kitchen, and they will come out and sing and make noise for your birthday. As for choosing between dinner and breakfast, that’s a tough one. They have a terrific menu for both meals.…

Hi do they have a QR code to pay or do you pay when you get there? Brunch price please!

A credit card is required when making reservations, but you pay when you check-in for your reservation.…

I made a reservation on the app and added a cake add on, how can I cancel the cake add on?

You should be able to cancel when you arrive. Just tell them ahead of time. They get so many orders for that cake that they're not losing any money. Pro Tip: I would keep the cake, eat as much as you can and fill the box the cake comes in with…

Do you take walk ins? Cuz I'm unable to reserve anything

They do but, be prepared for a very long wait!

Is turkey sausage served for breakfast?

I believe the sausage is regular sausage as the Goofy’s Kitchen menu does not specify turkey.

I'm taking my son here for his bday in Jan... Do any of the characters stop to take photos with guests at the tables? I see videos of them dancing and walking.. but don't they ever stop for photos?

Yes! When they stop at your table, you can absolutely ask them for a picture. They will interact with you and your guests as well.

I have a really picky eater. Do they have things like chicken strips and fries. Or plain noodles with butter?

They make amazing chicken strips and they have mac n cheese.

How's the dinner menu? Is the pb pizza included in the dinner menu also?

Dinner has a good selection of proteins, starches and vegetables. But you are there more for the character interactions.

How do I make a reservation for goofy kitchen?

You can make reservations online. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/dining/#/reservations-accepted/

    Do they have French fries?

    They do!

Is child under 2 years old free?

    Yes!

Is goody kitchen inside Disneyland or downtown disney?

    It's inside the Disneyland hotel.

The servers are all very friendly and don't seem to forget about clearing plates or taking drink orders which I did really appreciate so I hope they never change that and thank you for providing great service. The ambiance is decent as well. Clean with a nice mural of the Great Wall in the back where larger parties are sat. The bathroom doors also have cool murals on them of a samurai for men and a lovely painting of a woman at a temple.

The restaurant is big, very spacious and has casual yet pretty elegant look to it. They've been there before, and it was my first time I liked the ambiance and appreciated the friendly and attentive staff. We aimed for mostly the seafood, fresh poke/sushi, and hot Chinese dishes. They were delicious. I saw the grilled satay, short ribs, and mackerel, but I didn't try because they looked dry sitting on the hot tray for a while maybe those need to be made to order. The large beef rib was tender and delicious and tasted similar to nilaga or lauya (Filipino style beef soup). I was surprised to see character baon there--so cute that I had to take a pic! How much they charge is worth all that. The staff does bring out their tambourines and sing happy birthday when requested. They'll also store cake in the fridge for you. Will most likely go back there for another occasion.

Yelp me, Yelp you!…read more Four Seasons Buffet in Cerritos is your typical Asian buffet, but it does a good job of giving you plenty of choices. They have mussels, clams, seafood, Chinese dishes, and a large selection of sushi. The food was tasty, the sushi tasted fresh, and there was enough variety for everyone to find something they liked. The restaurant was also clean and well-maintained, which is always important when eating at a buffet. Nothing overly fancy or unusual--just a solid Asian buffet with lots of food, good flavors, and plenty of sushi. Come hungry and leave full!

Heard a lot about this place. Finally able go and check them out…read more Plenty of parking here. Restaurant is very nice and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the many varieties of items they had. Salads, hummus, many meat items, desserts, and soda machine. If you enjoy Mediterranean food, this is a good spot to explore the many items they offered. Not sure if they've improved or what, but it was really tasty by buffet standards and I instantly became a fan of Dimassi's despite my 2 star review from 3 years ago. Since then I've been coming here every other week lol I'm such a huge fan of the large selection of salads and vegetables they have to choose from. I love the parsley salad, cabbage, roasted vegetables, the vegetable soup, and all the onions/tomatoes they have in some of the dishes on the buffet line. I LOVE rice (wow what a surprise) but here? It's such an afterthought for me. I will gladly eat all the roasted chicken, lamb shank, kofta, etc. with all the salads and veggies. It's the healthiest buffet I've ever been to. Sure, I might finish with a few bites of rice or a falafel or two, but I always leave here feeling healthy which is crazy to say after eating a buffet. No one is getting fat off vegetables and braised lamb and chicken. Well, maybe if you eat enough of the fried chicken (which is great by the way). I'm really bummed the Anaheim Hills location closed down, but I have no problems driving over here instead! I think after my next visit I'll finally get $15 off lmao. I told you I come here way too much.

Brunch was already available upon arrival. Great selection and got to try a little of everything. The salads were a favorite for me. Our server kept the Diet Coke flowing too. 4 stars only because there were no buttons on our way in provided to us (though I did see them on the way out), and Pluto never made it to our table.

Pros - The characters coming to your table and fun interactions. - Staff was kind and attentive. - Selection of buffet items and good turnover of most items to stay fresh - The carving station. The tri-tip roast was great when I went. - Magic Key and DVC discount - The decor felt cozy, with a rustic vibe, wood accents, and nature themes. - The little rolls of butter and the thick-cut bacon - Custom omelet station - Smoked salmon was a hit with our party - The bread pudding was the best dessert Cons - The price, but what do you expect with a Disney experience? - The noise level. It gets pretty loud. (a minor con) - The roasted turkey was a little dry on my last visit; it needs a side of gravy (maybe they have it for dinner) Overall, we enjoyed the food and experience. If you're a Disney fan and want to meet and take photos with the characters, this is one place to do it. I've seen families, couples, and Disney adult groups all enjoying themselves. A lot of smiles. Our server, Matthew, was excellent and managed multiple tables. The dining area was clean and fairly spacious. Reservations are a must. I would also like to try the dinner buffet in the future.

Our original server never offered us drinks and left us with lukewarm water while every other table had ice water. He also forgot to bring the five ramen bowls that were included with the package we ordered. We reminded him three separate times, and after that he completely disappeared and never came back to our table. Thankfully, Fabian came to our rescue. He fixed our grill, brought us Pepsi, made sure we had everything we needed, and completely turned our experience around. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making things right. I really hope the tip my family and I left goes to Fabian because he absolutely earned it. If you visit BWON, I highly recommend asking for Fabian. He's an outstanding server, and the owner is lucky to have someone like him on the team.
