    Pork belly bowl

This bowl was delicious I couldn't finish it. If the parks are very busy for the lines of food step out and get yourself over to this location the walk is not far. The sauce is delicious. It's located in downtown Disney.

Seoul Sister is one of 3 eateries inside Parkside Market in Downtown Disney. I was there for a quick trip and stopped here for lunch. I had the salad. Which was very good. It came with a too-spicy-for-me dressing on the side . But I asked for something else and got miso/tahini instead. It was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are bathrooms on both levels as well as a bar upstairs.

There's been so many updates to DTD with lots of new food places. My husband and I decided to take a break from the parks and looked for dinner in DTD - we found Seoul Sister. We ordered the Beef & Egg and Tofu bowls. Bowls are bibimbap-inspired. My husbands Beef & Egg bowl was with rice and my Tofu bowl was ordered with japchae noodles. The bowls were pretty tasty, and the portion size was enough to fill us. You order at the counter and find a place to sit. You're given a device to place on the table you're sitting at and they bring you your food when it's ready. Tip: Be aware that there are not very many tables to sit at and it can get crowded during meal times.

I really enjoyed my bulgogi bowl here. The bowl can with rice at the bottom followed be a bed of salad greens then bulgogi and kimchi. It came with a side of sauce which I dipped the salad into. The beef was tender and very flavorful. The kimchi had the right amount of sourness to it to balance everything. I also got the cherry lemonade which was nice. It was tangy and not too sweet. It was perfect on a hot, summer day. The line to order was a bit confusing. There was only one line and even though you go to Seoul Sister you can order off the other restaurant's menu as well. After ordering, you get a buzzer and pick up from the other restaurant. There was seating downstairs and upstairs and bathrooms too. There was constantly a line for the restroom.

Beef Bowl with Salad, 2/5: The soy sauce wasn't good... usually this is easy to make but it was just soy sauce? The beef was really dry, almost had beef jerky texture bc it was overcooked. The portions were not THAT big, I wasn't even hungry and this didn't make me full. For $19... absolutely not worth it. Beef and Egg Bowl with Rice, 2/5: Same as above... my sister didn't find it filling either. Not worth the $20. It gets busy once 7:30 pm hits so indoor seating is limited but it's cafeteria style so ppl move in and out quickly, so if you wait, you can find a seat.

Checked out Seoul Sister for lunch during our shopping trip to DTD. This is located in the newly developed area where the old movie theater was located- it's located across the new Din Tai Fung. Their menu is simple and to the point offering beef, chicken, pork and tofu bowls with choices to choose from on a bed of rice, japchae or salad. We ordered the beef and egg bowl with japchae . Service was friendly and we waited about 10 min for our food. The servings were bigger than we expected. We had left overs. We enjoyed the flavors it offered for a simple dish and the beef was delicious.. There was a lot of seating when we ordered but it filled up pretty quick. They also have rooftop seating. Overall pretty decent spot to eat at if you're craving Korean/Asian food. Glad they added this spot of places to eat at DTD

Haiku: Seoul Sister Bibimbap-style bowls Healthy meal and big portions Very colorful. --- It's refreshing to find a restaurant at the Disneyland Resort that's both healthy and delectable. This Korean-forward menu is inspired by bibimbap (Korean rice bowls). Its colorful dishes are jam packed with marinated meats, veggies, and bold sauces over your choice of rice, japchae noodles, or salad. My go-to orders: - Pork Belly Bowl (w/ japchae noodles): I'm impressed by the crispiness of the pork belly. It was savory and not too fatty. The snow peas and carrots not only added beautiful colors but a crunchy texture. The apricot ginger sauce was unique and slightly sweet. I just loved all the flavors of this bowl! - Chicken Bowl (w/ japchae noodles): This bowl gave me mad Hawaiian-plate vibes. I adore furikake seasoning over anything. The garlic chicken was perfectly seasoned and succulent to the bite. I love japchae, so I always order it in my bowls. These glass noodles are perfectly seasoned and exude toasted sesame oil. This is my new favorite place if I want a healthy alternative to all the Disney fried foods. Tip: Use your Magic Key discount to save some money.

I am spoiled coming from Hawaii So Disney does amusement parks, movies, tv shows, toys, and Korean food. One of these is not like the other. This was our first meal in downtown Disney since landing and it was raining. We wanted a nice place to sit down and didn't want to pay a really crazy price. Bingo this place looked inviting. There was plenty of opening seating and there was no line. After tasting the food, I know why. Salt would be nice. Heck hot sauce would be nice too. The restaurant is clean and nice interior but food was well one star. Overall one star. Food lacks taste, decent portions, originality. M

$21 Chicken Bowl (would not recommend)

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. You can order from either counter Chicken Shop or Seoul Sister for both restaurants. The price of a meal for quantity and quality here is lacking. We tried the chicken bowl, $18 and wanted to swap the rice for noodles which was an additional $3 up charge which was not clear on the menu. They do offer a pass discount, but the meal was still not worth the price.

Great addition to the food options in Downtown Disney! First floor is quick service where you can fall in line at the restaurant you want and they bring it to your table. Second floor is dining service where the waiter can serve from all 3 restaurants.

Decent food, not super special and small portions for the price. Disney service so always nice people, but the area was surprisingly warm and not the most comfortable seating. We got the chicken bowl and the beef & bowl. Again, pretty generic "Asian" food. Probably not a repeat place for me.

    Pork belly bowl and dumplings

Parkside market is our go to spot right now in downtown Disney and I finally tried Seoul Sister. We ordered the pork belly bowl and dumplings. The bowl was honestly bigger/more filling than I thought it'd be, I was sharing with my sister and we got pretty full. It came with a good amount of pork belly, there were a couple overly fatty pieces but nothing crazy. We got it with the japchae noodles, which I really liked, plus pickled ginger and some other veggies. The dumplings were fried and had a nice crispy texture and flavor. Both came with their own sauce which was a plus. The cashier took my order then I sat at a table where I put my number and then they bring you your food. We chose to sit in the main level area of seating, but we usually go upstairs where the bar is and you can order the same food up there. Glad I tried Seoul Sister and overall love the concept of Parkside!

I've had good japchae and I wouldn't even call this japchae. The noodles are not even noodles they're just small strands and it was drenched in sauce. Not worth $19 dollars.

Worst bulgogi beef I've ever encountered. It was extremely over cooked so it was tough and clumpy. 0/10.

For proteins, we had the 3 kebab combo (chicken, filet mignon, and kefta) - again, all grilled to perfection, succulent, juicy, and so flavorful. Slather garlic sauce over everything! Our other protein was the mansaf. The lamb was fall of the bone and tender. The almonds give a nice crunch to each bite and the yogurt sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Ask for the green drink, perfect for cooling down in a warm day. Servers are super attentive and always checking in. Come hungry!
