    Hokkien Noodles
    Angelica L.

Overall: 3.5/5 We got the hokkien noodles ($15) which were full of umami and bursting flavors. I love the thick Shanghai noodles. Everything in the bowl was properly marinated. It came with an additional sauce that had the stinky shrimp paste taste/smell so I did not use that but my husband did.

Tucked away in a corner, between a couple other restaurants in the food court, Googgle Man's Char Kuey Teow has some tasty noodles. The portion size is okay and the ingredients were good. They do provide some hot paste to add to the flavor - without it the flavor was flat. The downside is the $16.75 for the bowl.- seemed really high for what you get. Considering it's in Resorts World, the prices can be expected- but anywhere else, I'd expect twice the amount of food.

We decided to have an early lunch around 11am before driving for a road trip and the food stalls were just opened at 11am. I ordered Char Kuey Teow from the tablet and got my food in about 15 mins. Once I got the food, I noticed that the portion was pretty small for the price. From the first bite, I was a bit surprised because it was pretty spicy. The char kuey teow that I had many time before was not spicy. The noodle itself was pretty good and flavorful. I could taste the smokiness from the wok and the sauce was a mixed of salty & a hint of sweetness. However, the protein was cut up in tiny pieces and I wish they gave more egg. So far, this was a better meal compared to other vendors in the food court.

I walked by the stand and the aroma from the food smelled really good so I decided to order the Hokkien Noodles. Out of all the dishes I ordered at Famous Foods at Resorts World, this was by far the saltiest. The dish had noodles, pork, shrimp, and yu choy that were all marinated with a salty oyster sauce. If the dish were less salty, it probably could have been a lot better.

Malaysian noodle outpost in Resortsworld. You order from one of the screens (credit cards only) and then receive a text when your order is ready. You can order it for dine-in or takeout (they provide a bag with utensils). There's a lot of indoor seating and have tables for large groups. You have a lot of Asian food options, so you can order from a lot of different stands on the same ticket and share. The Hokkien noodle was on the saltier side, but I still enjoyed it. The noodle texture was nice and chewy. They gave three pieces of shrimp. They also provide a rather spicy chili sauce that you can opt to mix in. I finished my food in one sitting, but I was also hungry. For a meal in Vegas a little under $20, this was a good option.

A respectable enough execution. Vibrant flavors and a good amount of shrimp and Chinese sausage, too bad the noodles were overcooked.

So good, we actually went back for seconds!! Located in Famous Food Street Eats, this food stall is tucked in the corner and it certainly deserves a spotlight. $16 -- Hokkien Noodles. The portion is very filling for one person or perfect as a sample for two people. Again, these pieces of shrimp are HUGE and the whole dish is very flavorful. Arguably one of the best dishes I've had in FF so far. I rarely say this about noodles but it is really worth visiting. I definitely can't wait to come back a third time. (9/100--2022)

I finally tried the noodles again. The portion size and the size of the shrimp are good. The flavor was good. Not too salty like last time. They let the ingredients shine here.

I love noodles! If ya know me, then it's obvious. If you're goin to ask me about what to get to eat. I will say noodles of tacos lol. Anyway! I popped into the food court here at Resorts world in search of something for lunch. I went over to the universal order kiosk and was able to pan through all the spots at the food court. Noodles was on my mind so I placed an order for the Hokkien noodles. I never got a text but went over to the stall and the estimated wait time came and past by 2 mins. I went up and the lady was able to assist. She apologized as their ordering system wasn't working. Butttttt I got my noodles. She offered a spicy chili sauce as a condiment and I definitively accepted. Perfect amount of noodles and I loved the chewy texture and the sweet stir fry sauce made it bomb! So good! I was so happy this was my first meal of the day. The chili sauce is a game changer. It's packed with flavor and I just knew that I had to come back here before leaving back to the city. And here I am, having spent close to 50 bucks on noodles from this place ! Yes I came back 2 More times during this Vegas trip. I am hooked. I did divert and ordered the other stir fried noodle option chaw guy thiew ( this was more dry and it reminded me of the Cambodian stir fry noodles). The very last time I had it, I ordered and brought it back to the room. ( hokkien noodles) I was in heaven! Eating noodles in pajamas with ghost busters playing on tv. Hahha. It really was a joy to relax and indulge on my last night in sin city. I literally smuggled a small chili sauce in my luggage. Lol I am still in search of malaysian chili oil sauce online with no success on how to get my hands on it. This place got me. You'll have to try it for yourself!

20/10 food and flavor, will be coming back here just for this dish! They only serve 2 dishes and this is the one to get!

The Char Kway Teow is indeed exceptional. You must check if they are open. It was so good we decided to go back for seconds on another day and they were closed. Taste, ingredients and flavor was a 10/10!

Google Man's is located in the international food court for Resorts World in the back corner. They work off of a cashless system where you place your order through the kiosk and they called out your number once it's ready. They only have about 2-3 options, but they definitely crush it with their signature dish. It's a large portion of a drunken noodle type flat noodle. I liked the large chunks of shrimp & crispy calm. It's also super cool to be able to watch them cook it up right in front of you in the large woks. The price is a bit high, but it's the strip so that's as expected. I think it was in line with the portion size & enough for two people to share. Pro tip: ask for a cup of ice water from the bar & save the money from buying bottled water.

    Mel M.

I got the Char Kuey Teow. It's rice noodle, egg, manila clam, chinese sausage and shrimp. This is the weird part. Everything by itself was good. Like I liked the chinese sausage. The shrimp was cooked good and I like the manila clam and egg. But over all and eaten together in one bite something was missing. It wasn't the portion. The portion I'd say is good for two people. The noodles were cooked well but still something was missing. There's not enough flavor. Unless this is how the dish is suppose to be. Is it suppose to be bland? I'd take a bite and not enjoy it. I'd find myself chewing slower and thinking way too hard trying to figure out what is off. A little too bland for me. It's also topped with some fried pork but they taste more like a squirt of oil when I'd bite into it. Mel M Yelp 21:32

Klaws and other games were near the entrance which I find interesting especially in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't super busy on a Monday late morning. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.

Set up was a little different, no carts, but there was a huge counter that displayed a lot of the dim sum...similar to take out counter in a market. They do table service and order from menu. Menu had a lot of photos and easy to navigate. The good: turnip cake-crispy and not oily, flavor of wonton Soup was good, Gai lan Chinese broccoli was tasty. Dumplings like Hargow, and siu Mai tasted a little old. Wrapper dry and filling was denser in texture. Tripe stew had good flavor but texture was mushy (passed the point of tender) Service was fine, staff was available when needed, but overall felt quality/ambiance could be better. Maybe better during prime time or breakfast.

Service: the hostess was very nice/welcoming. The water server was prompt, food delivery people were nice, buffet line chef was fast. Our actual server wasn't up to par. Once he put in the order, we only saw him 1x when he checked in on the food. After that, I had to ask someone else for the check. Buffet food: there are PLENTY of options (see pics). I've been to many buffets in Vegas (not so many now since Covid) including recently Bacchanal / Caesars. The food quality at Genting is excellent. They cut the Peking Duck right in front of you and it is PHENOMENAL! The seafood hot & sour soup, shrimp cocktail, crab legs, Cantonese lobster, dim sum and green beans w/ steak are EXCELLENT! For $88/person, my 2 complaints: no dessert options and compared to Bacchanal's price of $92/person, Genting doesn't offer nearly as much options. Menu items: we ordered the Chilean Sea bass (presentation on plate is less than desired but it was flavorful and moist), Marinated cucumber (beautiful presentation and good tasting) and BBQ Boneless Duckling (excellent presentation and very tasty but not as good as Peking Duck) * They did offer free birthday desserts! * We will go back to try other menu items but probably not the buffet!

There is a beautiful round crystal chandelier in the entryway that is very well kept. The artwork and lighting is very modern except for the one art piece with the horses. It seemed a little out of place. We were thinking that it maybe for the year of the horse. It is very clean as well. I left the ordering to them and just asked for Beef Chow Fun. I know I can eat that dish with my allergies. It was delicious too. To my surprise I was able to eat some more of the dishes they chose. Yay! The Clams with Black Bean Sauce had peppers and onions in it. It was very good. Next was the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce in Casserole. This is a dish that I order every time I see it on any menu. This and a bowl of rice and I can survive anything life throws at me. This is a little bit of a cheat for my allergy but I'll take the risk. I've had it in dozens of different restaurants but this is the best. Please don't miss this one. You will regret it. The eggplant is tender yet not mushy and the sauce is perfection. Definitely get rice. The sauce with steamed rice is so good. The server came by and asked if she could take the plate. There were only a couple of bites left and some sauce. I put my hand over the plate with lightning fast reflexes and said no thank you I'm still working on it. I quickly scooped up every last bit and threw it into my bowl of rice. I nonchalantly rubbed the spoon across the rice to get the extra sauce off the bottom. Phew ‍ Emergency avoided. The Lobster W/ Ginger and Scallion and E-Fu Noodles. I couldn't have the noodles but I had to have some Lobster. It was fabulous. They said the chef did a great job with the noodles. The noodles took on the flavor of the sauce instead of just being on top of it. I hope that makes sense. The presentation was beautiful too. The Peking Pork Chop was a no go for me. They said I'd was fantastic. I could tell by the way they were eating it that it was something else. I was so jealous. They said the pork was fried perfectly and stayed crispy even though it was covered in the sauce. The pineapples in it didn't really taste like anything but it added to the texture. I decided to have a piece of the pineapple so I could taste the sauce. It was very lacking in the pineapple flavor but it was good because it took on the sweet flavor of the sauce. As I ate another piece I accidentally took a bite of the breading left in the sauce that was the size of a pearl. OMG from that little piece I couldn't tell how amazing that dish must have been. I HATE MY ALLERGY! I turned to my husband and said "It was amazing wasn't it?" He looked down at the floor and said "yes it was." Finally for dessert was the Sweet Red Bean Soup. I don't know if that's what it's called. It's a soup made from sweet azuki beans. Most people know azuki from mochi confections or shaved ice. It was served hot and had pumpkin inside. It was a nice meal with great food and great service in a clean modern dining room. Can't ask for anything more.
