I've also had their gumbo (BEST I've ever had!) and their Philly Cheese-steak (so tasty!) To be honest, I'm going to have to try everything on their menu. They are going to think I'm a totally crazy person but I don't care. They are around the corner from my house and they provide delicious take-out food made with FRESH ingredients so I'm never tempted to buy fast food crap. Currently, they are operating out of a catering truck on 104 just west of 59 in Robertsdale. But they are moving into the building that Quizno's (Robertsdale) just vacated. It's sort of near Arby's. This place has awesome food. We have eaten here for years. Never been disappointed. Tonight was the disappointment we have experienced. The cashier carried on a conversation with a friend about nonsense stuff while a lined stared to form to pay for their food. This went on for a while. Everyone else was very busy. The friend finally saw us standing there and said don't you need to help these people. The manager was making salads and saw what had happened and apologized. By far, the best hamburger in Baldwin County. If you are looking for an old fashioned burger the way dad used to cook it, this is the place. They use the perfect sized bun which is usually the downfall of most burger joints. The 1/2 pounder spills over the edges. This small restaurant has A LOT to offer. The service was top notch!!! Stopped in for lunch and ordered the fried shrimp and oysters with potato salad. I have to say it was the BEST potato salad I've ever tasted. It was packed with flavor. The fried shrimp was lightly coated and fresh. I probably could have ate a whole basket of the hush puppies. They were superb. I had way more food than I could eat. My husband ordered the Adam Bomb burger. It was perfectly cooked and the cheddar cheese and jalapeños were mixed into the burger. It's very good if you want the greasy spoon type food. We had the monster burger which the waitress recommended, and a BLT for something "lite." The burger was good, greasy, messy but that's what we expected! The crinkle-fries were cold, and not crispy. Not sure why. The BLT was very good, nothing different about it, but it was just what I wanted. The staff was great, service excellent, and very friendly. Was starving and just passing through to Gulf Shores so we yelped Robertsdale. This place ended up being such a gem. We found out it was locally owned and operated by the owners. They went out of their way and were very interested in making our meal & experience the best they could. The prices are very reasonable. Not like the overpriced places the nearer you get to the beach. I get the impression this is a local hang-out that welcomes us beach seekers. Eating local is better than settling on some chain or tourist trap restaurant. They had a attentive (and ATTRACTIVE) staff serving a good variety of great food. The sea food basket my wife got was budget priced and really good. I did the GooRoo burger,. In a word 'excellent'. (Why did GooRoo's get 5 stars when I gave 5 Guys only 4 stars? BEST HOMEMADE CHIPS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! We were nearby visiting the Loxley Strawberry Festival and as we left we asked one of the locals to recommend a good burger place. They recommended GooRoo's. Go where the locals go......certainly glad we did. Great little food joint which also serves beer, wine and a few alcoholic beverages. I had a classic 1/4 lb burger with mushrooms, onions and Swiss cheese. It was delicious! What was even better though we're the homemade potato chips! Wait staff was prompt and delightful. They have a pretty diverse menu including shrimp, fish, hamburger steak, soup of the day.....among other thing. The folks I was tried the onion rings and they said they were great.
