Oh my goodness! Our 2nd time @ this place! They have anything for anyone! From pizza to burgers, chicken tenders, wings and so much more! Kaylee took our order at the counter. She was sweet & welcoming & recommended the best for us. We both had the O.M.G burger & it was delicious!! Fries were hot & fresh, the wings were meaty & so good & the cheese curds were great! Really simple, family restaurant. You order at the counter, they give you a number & they bring it out to you. They have plenty of parking, seating & handicap assessable. We found this restaurant while trying to find something local and not fast food while in the Cherokee NC area. This is a cool little restaurant with a lot of different food options. The restaurant is clean and the service was great. We had the buffalo pizza, extreme fries,and Italian sub and they don't hold back on toppings. I would definitely eat here again. read more

Worst Pep Pizza!! Way too much cheese. I mean it's thin crust, then leave it sitting for 20 mins and it turns into a grease puddle. My husband and I recently stopped at Wize Guyz for lunch. He ordered a hamburger and I ordered a slice of pizza. We sat down and within 5 minutes his hamburger arrived, but I was told it would be a few more minutes on my slice of pizza. He finished his meal and 30 minutes later, we were told that the monitor in the kitchen wasn't working, so the cook didn't know about the pizza. What? If the monitor wasn't working, how did they get the Hamburger order. We told them to refund us for the slice of pizza. No apologize or did they try to make things right. Just said, ok we will refund you for your slice. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, poor customer service read more

Quick, Cheap, and Great Food. The most tasty pizza. Wasn't expecting anything good for a southern pizza but this is just like at home in NYC. Can't beat 9.99 for a 16". Also got the wings and was very satisfied with the flavor and crispiness. I recommend the honey hot flavor and the ranch is a perfect mix with it. Food came out fast and the workers were nice. Chicken was tough and the breading was bitter, as if the fryer oil was begging to be changed. The fries my husband got were bitter too. Tables were not clean. Once I started wiping ours down so that we could sit down, someone came out with a rag and wiped only the "dirty looking" spots on the table where food was lingering and never offered to wipe ours. My husband's burger was average. We probably won't go out of our way to visit again. The restaurant was nice looking, inside and out but sadly the food wasn't that good. read more

Had a great lunch here yesterday! I love chicken wings and I ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan, fully expecting the wings to be the small standard that I have become used to in the last few years. These wings were HUGE. They were also super flavorful - I barely used the blue cheese that came along with them. They were so delicious. Horrible service, order at the counter and they deliver it your table. They forgot to give me a ranch for the wing order. I asked for a ranch from the young kid who delivered my order which I paid for and the counter lady told him he could not give me a ranch so I had to get up and get one myself at the counter face to face. Ridiculous, not sure what the problem was. Wings were over cooked and honestly a waste of money. Weird clientele, everybody seems to stare and act oddly. Avoid! read more

This place beside its a savior when you need to eat something and the whole town is closed and they are the only open place, you can actually eat real good delicious food, we tried pizza, sandwiches and everything was awesome . I specially felt in love of the simple not so simple ham and cheese. The flavor and love in how is made is beyond this world. Every time we go to Cherokee that is our for sure place to go eat. The food was all delicious! Charity suggested the Chicken Fajita sandwich with the seasoned fries and it was amazing! Awesome customer service and great food! Husband had the wings and onion rings and he was very impressed! Kids had the kids cheeseburgers and fries, good portions for kids meals and tasty burgers. When I cannot enjoy a fried chicken sandwich and French fries something is terribly wrong. The chicken sandwich was laden with grease and the seasoned fries were tasteless. My wife offered me to eat half her cheeseburger and it smelled horrible (unfortunately she has no sense of smell). Let the pics speak for themself. $35 plus 15% wasted. Okay. A lot to tell you here. I'll do my best to keep it short... 1. It's located right outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you stay at Great Smokies Inn, you can walk there. 2. They are very friendly. 3. However, you will be charged $0.50 for a cup of water. 4. If you order two slices of pizza, you might receive a small personal pizza (cut into four slices). 5. The name is 'Wize Guys Grille,' but the sign outside reads 'Wise Guys Grille.' Someone made an error there. 6. I haven't tried their burgers yet but will update when I do. 7. The pizza was good. I was hosting a group in town last week and dined at Wize Guys twice. The first time we dined in and had pizza, a group order of 15 people. The staff was excellent friendly and the food came out quickly. No complaints here and the pizza is probably the best in town. A few days later, we had planned to grab burgers at another restaurant in town, however they weren't answering the phone so I called Wize Guys because I remember seeing their extensive menu during the previous visit. Not only were they happy to take my to-go order (15 burgers and fries, 2 salads and some appetizers) but they helped me meet my original timeline and had us out the door in 20 minutes! The buffet is not normally something I'd chose but was where I ended up. I took it as a sign I was meant to be there. They have an entrance and exit door then the host or hostess will seat you. The buffet was $16.95 with drinks and dessert extra. This is a very busy place and they have two tables of 4 next to each other so different groups were seated at each 4 top. The buffet has one section for a salad, lettuce and toppings. Then the next section is hot foods with a variety of vegetables and meats. I remember potatoes, corn, fried chicken and meatloaf and on the end is a carving station for roast beef. But I know there were more options. The salad portion was ok but the potatoes and the corn were great. Then I had roast beef and really enjoyed that. They don't give big portions of it so you need to make a multiple trip. I did have some apples too and liked those. Service was friendly and kept my iced tea filled. I had heard about the pie so decided to get a slice of the peanut butter pie to go. The pie was ok and I wouldn't order that again. I'd return to Granny's Kitchen as the food was very good. I'd prefer ordering from a menu though rather than the buffet. But this is how they have it setup.

I ordered the kids lasagna with asparagus. I mentioned 3 times that I was ordering from the kids menu. Other orders at the table were the mushroom ravioli, grilled salmon, kids Mac and cheese and kids chicken tenders. Great reviews of the ravioli, Mac and cheese and chicken fingers. The salmon came with a medley of vegetables. They were very disappointing. My meal came. A huge plate of lasagna, I said this can not be the kids portion. Waitress looks at me with frustration. Oh, I'll check if it's okay that you ordered from the kids menu, we will adjust the pricing. Two other people at the table looked at her in disbelief, they heard me twice say kids portion/menu. Asparagus wasn't just grilled it was burnt, inedible. The lasagna is amazing. Just disappointed with our waitresses attitude as a whole. But would go back again. More good food than bad!
