We found this restaurant while trying to find something local and not fast food while in the Cherokee NC area. This is a cool little restaurant with a lot of different food options. The restaurant is clean and the service was great. We had the buffalo pizza, extreme fries,and Italian sub and they don't hold back on toppings. I would definitely eat here again. read more

We sat down and within 5 minutes his hamburger arrived, but I was told it would be a few more minutes on my slice of pizza. Quick, Cheap, and Great Food. The most tasty pizza. Wasn't expecting anything good for a southern pizza but this is just like at home in NYC. Can't beat 9.99 for a 16". Also got the wings and was very satisfied with the flavor and crispiness. I recommend the honey hot flavor and the ranch is a perfect mix with it. Food came out fast and the workers were nice. Chicken was tough and the breading was bitter, as if the fryer oil was begging to be changed. The fries my husband got were bitter too. Tables were not clean. Once I started wiping ours down so that we could sit down, someone came out with a rag and wiped only the "dirty looking" spots on the table where food was lingering and never offered to wipe ours. Had a great lunch here yesterday! I love chicken wings and I ordered a dozen garlic Parmesan, fully expecting the wings to be the small standard that I have become used to in the last few years. These wings were HUGE. They were also super flavorful - I barely used the blue cheese that came along with them. They were so delicious. Okay. A lot to tell you here. I'll do my best to keep it short... 1. It's located right outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If you stay at Great Smokies Inn, you can walk there. 2. They are very friendly. 3. However, you will be charged $0.50 for a cup of water. 4. If you order two slices of pizza, you might receive a small personal pizza (cut into four slices). 5. The name is 'Wize Guys Grille,' but the sign outside reads 'Wise Guys Grille.' Someone made an error there. 6. I haven't tried their burgers yet but will update when I do. 7. The pizza was good. Not outstanding but solid. Overall, recommended, but know what to expect when you enter. read more

This place beside its a savior when you need to eat something and the whole town is closed and they are the only open place, you can actually eat real good delicious food, we tried pizza, sandwiches and everything was awesome . I was hosting a group in town last week and dined at Wize Guys twice. The first time we dined in and had pizza, a group order of 15 people. The staff was excellent friendly and the food came out quickly. No complaints here and the pizza is probably the best in town. A few days later, we had planned to grab burgers at another restaurant in town, however they weren't answering the phone so I called Wize Guys because I remember seeing their extensive menu during the previous visit. Not only were they happy to take my to-go order (15 burgers and fries, 2 salads and some appetizers) but they helped me meet my original timeline and had us out the door in 20 minutes! I visited while in town for a basketball tournament and ate with the team and parents. This is definitely a hidden treasure. This was approximately 2 miles away from the casino and the food was GREAT. I got a Philly cheesesteak with fries and wish I would've ordered 2. They serve pizza, wings, and various sandwiches. The service was great, there was plenty of seating and tvs to enjoy sports or other things. There's outside seating for when it's warmer.
