    Excellent coffee

This place is always busy, serving fresh good breakfast, after we leave Harrah's we like to dine here, before our two hour drive home. We like the #2 special. Eggs, two fluffy pancakes, and two meat sides. We are happy they serve turkey sausage. Nestled along the river, beautiful views and many Cherokee shopping, you can spend a whole day here. Our go place in the foothills of the gorgeous Smokey mountains.

This diner has very good coffee, very good biscuits, really fluffy pancakes, and a nice healthy omelette. I enjoyed my breakfast here, there really isn't anything to complain about. While visiting here, I was able to talk to some locals about places to visit. This is one of those places where everyone knows everyone.

Fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. Good food with ample portions. Less than 10 minutes from the casino. So glad we found this place.

Got the Ranch Hand Breakfast - comes with a large piece of fresh ham (QUITE salty), eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. I added blueberries :)

This place was a random find, and very bomb. It's right at the edge of the Cherokee Native American reserve and the place has plenty of parking but nonetheless was popping when I went in. I was alone and only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated at the bar; there was a constant supply of people getting on the waitlist. They had your standard breakfast/brunch items and in good quantity for a very reasonable price! The staff are also very friendly and clearly familiar with the locals. Overall this is a great local brunch spot clearly owned by local folks. Had a great time!

We went because my grandson is named Peter. This is his favorite place to eat!! Parking is convenient if you find a spot! We got waited on quickly. We had a variety of foods at our table of 6. This was a birthday celebration for Peter! The pecan pancakes are great!!! Corned beef hash is like I have at home. The grits appeared to be cooked so they were not runny. Eggs over easy cooked perfectly! Waitress was so nice. And what a wonderful view out the window of the river. Definitely a must go place if you are in Cherokee.

    Western omelette and waffle

I had the Western omelette (and subbed bacon for ham) and it was the bomb. The bacon was so crispy, even after being rolled up with veggies and cheese inside that omelette. The potatoes needed some salt and crisp but were otherwise ok. The orange juice was super fresh and sweet (do they squeeze it fresh? Idk but it fooled me). My boyfriend had the waffle which left a lot to be desired, it just wasn't very crispy as you would want a waffle to be. The batter was nice and sweet though. The corned beef hash was good. Our server was very friendly and the whole place had good vibes.

Huevos Enrique- we can't wait to try and make this at home.

Another wonderful experience here. My husband and I had visited previously and remember how good the food was so we came back. The service was good, there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't bad, we were able to go outside and enjoy the views of the river. Breakfast was great, just like grandma used to make.

Simple, delicious, enjoyable, like going back in time and finding that treasure you want to keep forever. There was not a line, shocking but it was January! The staff is fast, thinks of everything and professional! This place doesn't have the wow effect on decor but it sure does with its food! The menu has lots of options and the blueberry pancakes melt in your mouth!! Support his local establishment and help it survive for generations after you!

Really enjoyed this place. No frills, kind service, well-cooked food, reasonable prices.

It's a small restaurant on the main drag. You are likely to wait a bit for a table, which is no problem as they have speakers so you can stroll by the river and still hear your name called. The food was standard breakfast fare, we enjoyed the blue mugs with the rooster . The service was quick and attentive. I would return if I'm lucky enough to visit the area again.

Peter's Pancakes and Waffles might be the greatest name for a breakfast place ever. (I clearly have no bias here) When you have pancakes in your name they need to deliver, and they most certainly do here. I had the chocolate chip pancakes and absolutely loved them. Really fluffy and full of flavor. The coffee and side of home fries were good, but the star was hands-down the pancakes. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be sure to return.

Absolutely phenomenal…read more No wonder they were rated one of the top restaurants in the southeast, and that's not just for breakfast places. This place does everything right! If anyone reading this wants to open a restaurant, I would highly recommend studying this place. Let's get to the good stuff. I was told I would have a 30-minute wait, and that's just for one--I always travel solo on a poker trip. Well ... almost any trip. Anyway, I explored the grounds and I found a large lawn, a creek, a bridge over that creek, a fake mill (I think it was fake), and three little birds (they were not at my doorstep). After this pleasant exploration that brought great peace and even the idea of moving to Maggie Valley to be closer to poker (and a pancake house), I was called in. The super friendly lady that checked me in told me it would be worth the wait. She was not wrong. So, check this out. Two big pancakes, perfectly cooked dry scrambled eggs as I ordered them, and the best bacon I have ever tasted was a total of around $15 before tax. That's a pretty good deal, especially for one of the best breakfast experiences of your life. My waitress was also superb. I won't mention a name because now that I stopped writing books and this is my writing outlet, some have jumped over and each Google review is getting 10k-100k views (not talking about photos, actual reviews). And then people speculate. I'm going to avoid all that drama. I might have made one mistake with my meal, but it depends how you view it. I went with the super healthy syrup. It's not called Super Healthy Syrup, but that's how I viewed it. I'm a gym rat and I don't eat heavy at all but I sure don't like boring. The pancakes themselves were excellent but I chose the wrong syrup. Now I know to go with the chemically-enhanced version. It's the rebel in me. Gotta do it. Last thing: atmosphere is amazing. Everything is spotless and perfectly spaced. Just so you know, you pay at the front. Extremely Highly Recommended! To have Joey's Pancake House and Frankie's Italian Trattoria right down the street from each other is something.

It's diner-style comfort food, and within that style restaurant, Waffle King in Murphy delivers! The staff is welcoming and friendly with a very down-home style. I visited with a family group of 10, and from the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, quick, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that helped everyone decide what to order. Despite the size of our group, she kept drinks filled, checked on us regularly, and made sure everything came out correctly. The food was exactly what you hope for when looking for a hearty country breakfast. The griddle cakes were enormous, light and fluffy with a rich buttery flavor that soaked up the syrup perfectly. They had a slightly crisp edge while staying soft and tender in the middle. The Big Breakfast Platter was massive, loaded with eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, and grits. That will say the first batch of grits that they gave me were horrible as they were clumpy and kind of cold however the waitress easily fix that and replace them with a hot bowl of brown sugar grits that I enjoyed completely, other than this Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and anyone who ordered eggs over medium were cooked just right The biscuits were some of the best we had during our Tennessee trip--large, flaky, buttery, and soft inside and out.. Whether eaten on their own or with gravy, they melted in your mouth. What impressed us most was that every single person in our party found something they loved, and everyone left completely satisfied. We were tasting everybody's food and still left with no one finishing their plates because The portions are no joke here. In fact, my only complaint is that there was so much food on my plate that I couldn't finish it all, and had to throw it away before heading home because it was a 3-hour ride back to the house so If you're visiting Gatlinburg and want a memorable breakfast with generous portions, great service, and delicious food, Crockett's Breakfast Camp is absolutely worth the wait, and it is a long long wait. sometimes..
