This is a great pancake house. You probably will have to wait a few minutes but it's worth the weight. The pancakes are incredible and the breakfast whatever you get sausage bacon country ham or corn beef hash is absolutely amazing. This is a diner/old-fashioned style pancake house. Sherri, our waitress has been there 25 years and she was incredible!. Their air-conditioning works really well so if you're cold nature, I might want to bring a jacket or cover... healthy portions and a fair price and very popular!!!!

This place is always busy, serving fresh good breakfast, after we leave Harrah's we like to dine here, before our two hour drive home. We like the #2 special. Eggs, two fluffy pancakes, and two meat sides. We are happy they serve turkey sausage. Nestled along the river, beautiful views and many Cherokee shopping, you can spend a whole day here. Our go place in the foothills of the gorgeous Smokey mountains.

This diner has very good coffee, very good biscuits, really fluffy pancakes, and a nice healthy omelette. I enjoyed my breakfast here, there really isn't anything to complain about. While visiting here, I was able to talk to some locals about places to visit. This is one of those places where everyone knows everyone.

Fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. Good food with ample portions. Less than 10 minutes from the casino. So glad we found this place.

Got the Ranch Hand Breakfast - comes with a large piece of fresh ham (QUITE salty), eggs, potatoes, and pancakes. I added blueberries :)

This place was a random find, and very bomb. It's right at the edge of the Cherokee Native American reserve and the place has plenty of parking but nonetheless was popping when I went in. I was alone and only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated at the bar; there was a constant supply of people getting on the waitlist. They had your standard breakfast/brunch items and in good quantity for a very reasonable price! The staff are also very friendly and clearly familiar with the locals. Overall this is a great local brunch spot clearly owned by local folks. Had a great time!

We went because my grandson is named Peter. This is his favorite place to eat!! Parking is convenient if you find a spot! We got waited on quickly. We had a variety of foods at our table of 6. This was a birthday celebration for Peter! The pecan pancakes are great!!! Corned beef hash is like I have at home. The grits appeared to be cooked so they were not runny. Eggs over easy cooked perfectly! Waitress was so nice. And what a wonderful view out the window of the river. Definitely a must go place if you are in Cherokee.

    Western omelette and waffle

I had the Western omelette (and subbed bacon for ham) and it was the bomb. The bacon was so crispy, even after being rolled up with veggies and cheese inside that omelette. The potatoes needed some salt and crisp but were otherwise ok. The orange juice was super fresh and sweet (do they squeeze it fresh? Idk but it fooled me). My boyfriend had the waffle which left a lot to be desired, it just wasn't very crispy as you would want a waffle to be. The batter was nice and sweet though. The corned beef hash was good. Our server was very friendly and the whole place had good vibes.

Huevos Enrique- we can't wait to try and make this at home.

Another wonderful experience here. My husband and I had visited previously and remember how good the food was so we came back. The service was good, there was a bit of a wait but it wasn't bad, we were able to go outside and enjoy the views of the river. Breakfast was great, just like grandma used to make.

Really enjoyed this place. No frills, kind service, well-cooked food, reasonable prices.

Simple, delicious, enjoyable, like going back in time and finding that treasure you want to keep forever. There was not a line, shocking but it was January! The staff is fast, thinks of everything and professional! This place doesn't have the wow effect on decor but it sure does with its food! The menu has lots of options and the blueberry pancakes melt in your mouth!! Support his local establishment and help it survive for generations after you!

The bagels were very different from any we have had before, had a very home baked bread taste. The sweet potato bowl was very flavorful and hit just the right note for lunch. We did get a couple baked goods to go as well. The coffee was pretty good, they have tons of flavors to choose from and make some signature drinks too. The staff is very friendly and will give excellent recommendation. The decor is rustic cute. Worth a visit!!!

The shop itself is adorable, clean, and had a steady flow of customers. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte, which is my go-to whenever I'm trying a new coffee shop because it's a pretty reliable way to compare places. It was good, and exactly what I was hoping for. I also tried the cinnamon roll. It was tasty, but pretty standard. Looking back, I think I'd try one of their other bakery items next time. My friend ordered one of their homemade biscuits. It took quite a while to come out--around 15 to 20 minutes--and several other customers were served before we received it. It honestly felt like the biscuit may have been forgotten, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we had a pleasant experience. Nothing was overpriced, the staff was kind, and it's the type of local place I always encourage travelers to support. While there are a couple of other coffee shops in Bryson City I'd probably try before returning, I still think La Dolce Vita Bakery is worth a visit so you can form your own opinion. Every café has busy days, and one experience doesn't define a business. If you're looking for a cozy local spot for coffee and a pastry while exploring downtown Bryson City, it's definitely worth stopping in.

The meat and three along with the vegetable only options are welcomed changes to the family style only meal for those desiring smaller portions. In our experience, the food was served hot and was perfectly prepared. We chose white meat chicken and received two large breast that were excellent! The two catfish fillets and four slices of meat loaf were delicious. The vegetables were Lima beans, cabbage casserole, creamed corn, potatoes au gratin, slaw and a spring salad. All were served fresh with two biscuits and two corn muffins. The relish, apple butter and Sogrum-sage butter were delightful. We were blessed to have April for our server, and highly recommend her for your visit. She shared the history of the area and is proud of the changes and history of the Dillard House. Thank you for a great meal. The fried chicken is better than I remembered. Yes, the restaurant is open, and parts of the motel are being remodeled/updated and the new hotel is under construction. Don't let the remodeling deter you from the eating at the restaurant or enjoying your favorite drink from the bar.

Poor service, poor food quality. Not impressed at all…read more Ambience is nice, very spacious, newly built, restaurant. Friendly staff. Not very attentive at all. Say for 15 minutes before the manager had to obtain a server for our table. After the food was delivered, the server did not provide adequate service. I requested a water refill, which took an additional 15 minutes, because she continually forgot. Food quality wasn't the greatest. They served chicken, which consisted of 2 thighs and 2 drumsticks. Along with friend catfish filets, that had been way over salted. Both were very soggy. I ate half the thigh and quit. Veggies? Only vegetables were Lima beans, everything else considered vegetables, was a casserole. A table full of starches. Over rated and over priced. Sadly disappointed. If you want good southern food, go further south to Thomasville, GA. Go to O'Neals. You can fool some folks, but not someone that knows southern cooking. We won't return.
