We had the following items: Oysters (mixture of locations) Lobster Risotto - creamy and rich Grilled octopus - slight spice (not spicy) with great flavor combination (potatoes/tomatoes/sauce) Beef Wellington - Steak is so tender it's like butter the pastry surrounding the beef is like a homage pot pie on steroids so good. Hell's Kitchen has been on my list to try for the longest time because of the famous Beef Wellington! To start, I got the Secret Cove cocktail which was really good! It didn't taste like there was a lot of alcohol but I was feeling it by the end of dinner! The Beef Wellington was just as I expected! The mashed potatoes were perfectly creamy and smooth. The Wellington was cooked to perfection and I liked the mushroom duxelle inside. The sticky toffee pudding was very sweet and rich but a great ending to the meal. The restaurant was very busy, so definitely recommend making reservations. The ambiance was great and it was fun imagining Hell's Kitchen being filmed. Lovely first time experience; it was towards the end of the night on a Tuesday so it was a little busy but not overwhelmingly crowded. It's a very nice restaurant inside a very nice casino so there's a lot going on. We still got great service from Nelson who took care of us and gave me a sweet birthday surprise. My wife and I have never tried Hell's Kitchen before even though we see it all the time. Finally, we decided to give it a shot in Tahoe. We had to go ahead and try out the famous beef Wellington, I think I had too high of an expectation for it. The beef was tender but I did not really like the flavor it was seasoned with. My wife really enjoyed the mashed potatoes(forgot to take pictures), so we ordered a side of that. The Caesar salad was delicious and I loved the texture of the Parmesan. The macaroni and cheese was a little bit over the top in my opinion and was just too heavy to finish. I think overall, the stars were the Caesar salad and the fancy mashed potatoes. Delicious! I have always heard about Gordon Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington and finally got to try it. I'm glad the hype met my expectations. I ordered the 3 course HK signature prix fixe menu. I started with the Pan Seared Scallops. I'm not a huge scallop fan, but I didn't want the other choice of a Caesar Salad. I thought the scallops were pretty good but wouldn't go out of my way to order them if it weren't for the prix fixe menu. But my friends seemed to really enjoy them. Now to the stars of the show. The main dish, Beef Wellington! Just wow and cooked to perfection. Every bite was amazing. I loved the tenderness and flavor. It was very filling, but I ate it all it was so good. Sticky Toffee Pudding was for dessert. Oh my goodness, I didn't expect to love it so much! The warm sticky toffee paired with the ice cream on top was amazing! A large portion, too. You could share it with someone. Beef Wellington was great, but wow, the Sticky Toffee Pudding stole the show for me. I'm a big sweet dessert person and I really enjoyed it. I actually crave to go back for the dessert more than the Beef Wellington, haha. Service was great and as expected of an expensive restaurant. The restaurant is small and very busy, so you definitely need reservations. I did notice an outside bar counter open toward the casino. Hell's Kitchen is one of those restaurants where I will give it a try once and not care to go back again. Here's why: 1. I can get similar food elsewhere for the same quality or better for half the price. 2. The portion of food items are too small for what they are worth. 3. The menu does not have a lot to choose from. 4. There wasn't a dish that stood out. In terms of service, it was great. The waiter came around a few times and we never had to wait long for the next thing like the dessert and the check. It was a nice little restaurant with a good feel to it. My husband and I went on a Monday evening and it was not too busy. The food did meet my expectations. I thought everything was good. Flavoring was perfect with the dishes that we ordered (see photos). The Sticky Toffee Pudding, though soft and moist, was way too sweet. That must have been what that gave me a stomach ache. We LOVE Hell's Kitchen. I try to go a few times a year. This was a huge let down compared to other visits. The rice in the lobster risotto was still hard. The carrots with the Beef Wellington weren't cooked all the way, there was barely any reduced red wine sauce, and the pastry on my Wellington didn't even cover all the meat. They are located in the Harvey's Casino, they do not validate parking so be prepared to pay $25 for parking if you plan on parking at the casino. Anyhow our server was very friendly, this location is a lot smaller compared to the Vegas location and doesn't have that really nice ambience appeal, it's pretty dark. I'm pretty basic and don't eat salmon or filet I got the salad but the chicken was a little hard and not as flavorful as I remembered it. Also it lacked dressing and had to ask for more on the side. Myself and three friends were nearby at the casino and decided to swing by Hell's Kitchen for some eats and drinks. We did not have a reservation but were able to walk in and be seated at the bar. There were multiple different bartenders behind the bar that all took turns helping/assisting us when needed. The lighting was dim giving it a more relaxed feel. I ordered two different cocktails which one was amazing and the other I ended up trading with a friend as it was not my favorite! The spicy margarita packs a punch and is more savory than sweet which I love. The other drink I ordered was the Don Patrol which tasted tangy like BBQ sauce (I know weird!). That was the one I could have gone without. I ordered the seared chicken with artichoke hearts which was absolutely delicious. Each bite paired well together leaving a balanced taste. For appetizers we got scallops which are always great, a Caesar salad which we loved. For dinner we had the tomahawk and Mac n cheese, both were very delicious. Let me just say, Hell's Kitchen is worth the hype. It's a little pricey, yeah, but it's definitely worth it. My husband and I drove up here from Sac in January 2025 as a little honeymoon dinner getaway. We had been to the Vegas location in 2023 so we had some idea of what to expect. Compared to the Vegas Hell's, this is a small, intimate restaurant tucked in the Harvey's casino (prepare for lots of smoke). Waiters will recommend food/drink specials that aren't on the menu if you're not sure about what you want. I got the filet mignon with a side of potato purée. You can never go wrong with these in my opinion. My husband got the wagyu steak (very pricey), which was to die for, and mac and cheese. The wagyu steak was a special that wasn't on the menu, so this was one the waiter recommended. The website says there's a dress code and you need reservations, but that wasn't the case at either location I've been to. People would show up in sweatshirts or tank tops, pajama pants and slides on a whim and get seated, so don't stress too much about what to wear like we did the first time we went. Edit to add: the waiter asked if we were celebrating anything and we said we had just gotten married, so he comped us a sticky toffee pudding cake dessert. That was delectable and I would 100% pay to have it if I get the chance to go here again. read more

The sticky toffee pudding :) I got the hibiscus sour cocktail and it was delicious and refreshing. I got the sticky toffee pudding and it is ssoo delectable, sweet, and rich. Wish there was there more ice cream to better portion the amount of pudding you get but otherwise amazing. The server was really nice and quick service! I am a huge Gordon Ramsay fan. I have been watching his shows for decades and I have been a fan of HK since its very first season. After nearly 20 years, I finally got the chance to try one of his locations a week ago in Lake Tahoe. It was everything I had hoped for and more! As far as the food goes, I think there's no surprise here that it was phenomenal. When you go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, you know you're going to be given a certain tier of food quality, taste, ambiance, service, etc. My girlfriend and I went here and ordered the Beef Wellington, Rack of Lamb, Seared Scallops, and Sticky Toffee pudding. I ordered the Beef Wellington with Gordon's Special Addition (foie gras and lobster on top). All of the food was exceptional. The Wellington and Toffee pudding are just as good as everyone else says. The restaurant itself was very cool. I did not know what to expect going into the restaurant, but I had hoped that I would see two open kitchens with the colors and staff like in the show. While there was an open kitchen, you only got to see the two chefs running the pass up front (one for each "team"). You don't get to see the inner workings and all the chefs preparing things in the back. But aside from that, the restaurant is beautiful like every GR restaurant. This was my girlfriend and I's first trip to Lake Tahoe but we will surely return again. And since I am such a big fan of Gordon Ramsay's, I'm sure we'll come back to HK. read more

Have been trying to try out Hell's Kitchen in Tahoe. Finally was able to get a reservation and make it on this trip. Dinner opens at 4pm. There was a short line upon arrival but it moved quickly. We were greeted by a friendly hostess that checked our reservation name and we were introduced to the person that was escorting us to our table. Since our reservation was an early dinner, there weren't too many tables filled yet. The table set up was very nice and we had an awesome background photo of Gordon Ramsay. Our server, Mikenzie, greeted us soon after being seated and brought us water. She asked if we wanted to hear the special and was able to speak to it clearly and confidently. She took our drink order and asked if we had any allergies - so great that she asked. My daughter is allergic to all nuts. We placed our order with starters, entrees, and dessert. Desserts: PB&J tart, Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake, and Sticky Toffee Pudding with decaf drip coffee and a beautiful peach flower herbal tea. As far as service goes, Luis and Viviana, who helped him, were attentive and on top of things and were very communicative, making sure the experience was pleasurable but not meddlesome. Eating here was the only time in Tahoe that our entrees were brought after we finished our apps, which we very much appreciated. The suggestions for our drinks were spot on with what we said we wanted. The crispy skin salmon was perfect; my mom, who doesn't even like salmon, enjoyed it with the accompaniments. The rack of lamb was okay; the chops were not as "Lamby" as expected, and everything on the plate needed more salt, which Luis brought to us when requested. I had been looking forward to coming to Hell's kitchen Lake Tahoe for a couple months for my 50th birthday. I had just gone to house kitchen in Las Vegas for my 25th wedding anniversary and it was phenomenal. So I couldn't wait to come to Lake Tahoe to go to Hell's kitchen that was the main reason for going to Lake Tahoe. I ordered the exact same thing that I ordered in Las Vegas unfortunately the carrots were not in season, but I do recommend the honey glazed carrots in Las Vegas at Hells kitchen. I couldn't wait to taste my lobster risotto, but it was not what I remembered it to be the plating was different. The texture was different. The taste was different. I got the New York strip as well and ate a half and took the other half home. We left Tahoe that night on our way home. I had stomach issues the next day when I eat the rest of my steak. I also had stomach issues which I never had stomach issues when I ate the food in Las Vegas. I am very unsatisfied with my experience. I paid $355 for me to have a stomachache afterwards very unpleased.
