This was our first visit here the pizza was worth the wait. The crust is nice and thin . The toppings are fresh and delicious. The seating is limited inside but they have a patio. We will definitely be going back . We were fortunate enough to be able to sit inside and enjoy our pizzas . The ones we selected were good and next time I'll try a different one . But go for the large the small size is perfect for one person and was enough since we each ordered our own . But once we started eating it we could probably have devoured a large easily . I will say the pizza is good. The service is terrible. The bartender was very rude to us, we ordered food and drinks and paid for them, after 20 minutes receiving nothing, we left and figured after spending $60, it wasn't worth waiting so we went somewhere else. Will NOT be back. read more

My boss and I went here twice in one week because we had such a great time! Our first stop Zach and Patrick were incredibly helpful and fun to chat with while we ate. They had some amazing tunes going and, since it was decently quiet, they were super to engage in conversation which was nice because the inside is small so not talking to them would have been awkward. Since our first trip was so great, we decided to go back the following week and had another nice evening. The pizza is phenomenal, but no pizza could ever match the wonderful service we received. This pizza joint is has a trendy dive bar feel. The back patio is cute, only street parking available nearby. Apparently it's free, but the posted parking signs make it sound like you have to pay. You can use the ParkColumbus App which is handy if you do end up needing to pay. Pizza is wood fired and made thin crust style. The pies are alright, personally I think the dough has a weird aftertaste and I think they are severely over priced. I know my friends really liked the place, might be back because of them but personally not my slice of pie. read more

Yesterday, I went to GoreMade for the first time with some friends and we shared a few pizzas for dinner. Sat on their patio, which is a huge space and has plenty of tables for seating (All of which are spaced out appropriately for covid precautions). The crew there was very accommodating and super friendly. We got the Porkistopheles, Clintonvillain and the Chefs Choice. All of which were delish!! The chefs choice was my fave, they take their local and fresh ingredients that are always in season and combine them for a unique pizza that is spot on. The crust is the perfect thickness, and the size of the pizza is enough to indulge. Supporting local brews and spirits, their bar inside is inviting and showcases the kitchen as you watch the crew create the masterpieces you'll soon eat. Why have I never done a review for my favorite pizza place in Cbus!?! The dough is perfect and the ingredients are fresh. I've literally seen the owner at the Worthington Farmers Market buying ingredients (toppings). Our favorite is always the chef's choice. You can even say you would prefer to have or not have something on it. I've never had a bad pizza and have said so many times this is the best one yet. If it tells you anything this is where my daughter wanted to bring her friends for her 9th birthday. Great people work there, good conversation is always found, tasty drinks, and fantastic pizza. Funny that I bookmarked this place two years ago but never came here until now - thinking about what I've been missing out this whole time! The pizza is probably one of the best in Columbus. We got one mushroom and one pepperoni/sausage pizza, both taste amazing - they are sort of thin crust Neapolitan style pizza, not the Columbus cracker like pizza. GoreMade is slingin' out some solid pizzas in Italian Village. They're a little pricey, but I imagine if I still lived in the area, I'd be be frequenting this spot a decent amount. They have a real small space next to Little Rock Bar, and while I didn't dine in, it seemed like a super cozy place to bring a few friends over have a date night. The kitchen is open, so you can watch your pizza be made in all its glory. I noticed on a Sunday night they had pizzas out for people to come up and grab, and it looks like you get pizza and salad for $20. I assume this is unlimited. I went with the Porkistopheles, which is essentially a meat lovers with pepperoni, sausage, and bacon. It was a little thinner than other Neopolitan pies in town, and I noticed the center got a bit soggy and didn't hold up the meat, but it was still super tasty. I can't say it beats our Paulie Gee's or Natalie's for me. One thing I was put off by was the seasonal greens and dressing for $6. This is the full order, but it literally only contains greens you could buy at the grocery store for half the price and three times the amount. Even if they were picking them fresh, it shouldn't be that much. The dressing was decent, but eating just greens with no other veggies with it gets old real quick. Overall, I don't know if I'd throw this pizza spot into my rotation, but every once in awhile I'd be inclined to stop by here, especially if I was having a drink at Little Rock (Pass on the greens though). They do have a bar inside as well. Next time I'm back here will probably be on a Sunday to take advantage of that 5 - 9 special. read more

I love Goremade. They use the most beautiful local ingredients and I love the unique seasonal offerings like the butternut squash base, the curried apples, and the ramp pesto (just to name a few!!). The crust has great flavor and it's soft and delicious. A bonus (for me) is that the ingredients are cut really small and you can get almost unlimited ingredients on your pizza. Wow, this place is so chill! I drove up and was having difficulty finding the place at night - no fear as they were painting a logo right on the side of the building as drove up. They have amazing specials - 3 beers = Free pie! I had plans for both so this was a win! Their pies are amazing! They appear to be dainty but the flavor is larger than the pie! Oh my! Definitely coming back as they have some serious deals here for a place that is so good! You'd have thought they'd charge double and be pretentious about what they make but alas a place that just gets it! Popped in here post yoga one night. We were hot, sweaty, and hungry. We opted to do the "chef's choice" and asked for a couple toppings left off (I think it was the olives?) and we wanted the squash sauce as a base. Holy hell did they deliver. The pizza was delicious. This isn't "give me a cheese pizza" or "I want a plain jane pizza" - come here for great flavors on your pizza and to up your pizza game. Don't be boring and come here and order your pizza hut/papa john's/little caesar/donatos regular. Please don't. You'd be doing them a disservice when they can deliver so much more. Have you ever wanted to eat a fancy pizza in a nice restaurant? If so, Goremade Pizza is the place to go! I was super impressed. You don't feel like you are at a pizza joint and the food is so good and clearly made with love. My husband and I split a 12 inch Chef's Choice. The pizza we received had a bunch of ingredients I would have never put together, but wow - it blew me away. They used their seasonal butternut squash sauce, lots of local produce, and balsamic vinegar. Seriously, if you go to this location and the butternut squash sauce is available, do yourself a favor and try it! The pizza itself was very light and had I been a little hungrier and not saving room for dessert, I would have wanted my own pizza. So depending on how hungry you are will depend on if you should share or get your own. Since it wasn't greasy and had all fresh ingredients I would not have felt ashamed for eating a whole pizza myself. We also split a cherry chocolate torte and a scoop of chocolate gelato. At the moment, it's between Paulie Gee's and GoreMade Pizza for me in terms of best pizza in the city. Both offer wood fired pizza and use unique ingredients; the output is delicious and it's hard not to eat it all in one sitting. What is somewhat unique about GoreMade is they do a partial-pizza called the boat, which comes out to about two slices of a normal pizza. We got a "veggie heavy" chef's choice and it did not disappoint. That plus two salads and we were really pleased with our takeout for the night. I'd recommend GoreMade especially if you're a party of one for the night and looking for a special slice (or two) of pizza. Looking forward to trying their other options. read more

The pizza here is pretty solid. I got the Clintonvillain (mushroom, truffle oil). It was certainly good and worth it, but I've definitely had better (but to be fair that was in NYC which is hard to beat)! My best friend got the Chef's choice, which is just something they make out of whatever they think of - definitely recommend for adventurous eaters! Ours had a pesto base, pepperoni, caramelized apples, a cheese sauce, and much much more (was delicious)! Our server was also TOP NOTCH!!! They also have an interesting happy hour - if you buy 3 drinks, you get a free cheese or pepperoni pizza. We didn't get that, but maybe I'll think about that in the future. My only complaint was that a different guy who worked there (not our actual server) basically shooed us out (kinda rudely), which has never happened to me ever before. I understand that they have limited seating (I guess another thing they can work on), but we had just paid, so there was no reason for that. Overall though, I think if you want a good pizza, this place is worth a visit! read more
