New vegan spot alert!!! Woot woot! I've been following them for a while on IG just patiently anticipating their opening day. Cut to a month or so after their grand opening, I finally make my way to try their awesome grub! Ordering and 1st impression- Ordered and paid for my food online, which was super convenient and easy. When I walked in to pick up my order, my first impression was this place is clean and I also loved the community boards up on the wall. Food - we ordered the Cali burger, street elotes and fish tacos.... and let me tell you, this fish tacos were pretty fresh and damn tasty! They came with a side of salsa which was super yummy with a kick. I suggest you try a little first before putting it on your taco to see if you can handle it. The burger was really good, I had a bite of my husband's. I'm not a huuge burger person but it was super tasty. The elotes were cool, maybe got them on an off day, but they were a little dehydrated. Other than that, I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of their food! Sooo nice to have another vegan spot in the area! Go try them out!!! read more

Okay I really, really like the food here. My only issue is food handling. I noticed every time I come here, the employees take orders while wearing gloves and then wear those same gloves to make the food. I also see them go to the back and touch who knows what and come back to prepare the food. Not once do I see them wash their hands and put on a new pair of gloves to assemble orders. read more

easily the best vegan burger i have ever had!! i love to eat meat but we were passing by the area looking for somewhere to grab a bite and saw this place had great reviews. service was great and the atmosphere was nice too. if someone told me that burger was real meat, i would have believed them. we got a side of fries too that were very good. 10/10 quality food and experience. only thing i didn't love were the prices but i understand everything is plant based so it'll be more expensive :) read more

Gorgansons is fantastic!!! They are an amazing part of the community, always participating in fundraisers/drives and putting on events. Mark, the owner, is very kind and always friendly and really takes pride in his food. One time I saw him bring an extra burger to another table because he just wanted them to try it!!! When my girlfriend and I are here he'll often bring us some fresh chips and salsa on the house, offer drink refills, and check in to make sure we're enjoying our meal. We just stumbled across this place and received the most amazing service and most delicious food! Everyone in there was so friendly and raving about the food, service, and experience there that the owner Marc provided! Came here last night around 7pm for the first time and WOW!! Amazing food and service! My boyfriend and I ordered the fishy tacos, chips & guacamole, and the spicy bourbon burger. Spicy bourbon burger: Lives up to its name! It is spicy because there are chopped jalapeños inside (yum). Had a great flavor to it, definitely will fill you up. The fries were good too and had a delicious seasoning sprinkled on top. Overall great! Chips & guacamole: Ooo if you like limey guacamole then this is the one for you!! I wish it came in a bigger size because I could definitely eat more! Delicious! The chips aren't salty either, they are loaded with a seasoning and have a great flavor but aren't overly salty which is good! Fishy Tacos: WHOA! So so good, my personal favorite item we ordered. The sauce that comes with it too is packed with flavor. Definitely will order again!! The fish was nice and crispy and all the ingredients used were fresh. The sides offered (fries or cucumbers) had me wanting more. The cookies are my crack and I am not a person who typically eats dessert. I've been vegan 10 years and live in LA so I've tried just about everywhere and everything. This is some of the best tasting, freshest food I've ever had. I had the turkey sub and I thought I wasn't even hungry but ate the whole damn thing in about 2 mins -- it was that good. Also I could literally drink their mango habanero hot sauce, got some for my fries, highly recommend. I didn't speak to the owner but my husband did and he said he was one of the nicest people. Stumbled upon this gem while trying to look for healthy food options nearby my school and it totally caught my girlfriend and I by surprise. We were greeted by the owner (I should've asked for his name) and the overall atmosphere of the place was perfect. We asked for recommendations and he definitely did not disappoint, I had the Cali Burger and my girlfriend had the Chicken Sandwich. While were waiting for our food, the owner let us try the fish tacos (on the house) we were hesitant to get and they were DELICIOUS. Right after we tore those up, we received our order and dug right in. We wish we were able to capture pictures but we just couldn't stop stuffing our faces. Also, we loved the chocolate chip cookie so much that we ended up ordering some to go. We walked in around 4:30 on a Wednesday and only one person was working (I think the owner who's super nice and kicks butt in the kitchen), and it quickly got busy with customers. First of all, the owner is extremely friendly which really makes you feel welcomed and one of the biggest reasons to support a small business. I live in West LA and have had Monty's and Plant Power, and Hart House tons of times, but nothing came even close to how good the Cali burger at Gorgansons was. Probably the best burger I've had in SoCal. We also got the mini fish tacos which were amazing and super fresh. Vegan fish is hard to do but Gorgansons was light and crispy.
