Wonderful experience! They were super helpful over the phone when I was asking questions about the adoption process. When we came into the shop the employees were cleaning the beautiful glass-front enclosures. The puppies were very happy , I know they are well taken care of because the Beagle puppy that I came to see kept playfully running into the back area to play with the employees who were cleaning. My puppy is very friendly and happy. They provided everything I needed in a folder so I can keep records of her shots and her pedigree. So happy we found our fur baby here! read more

So we bought "TWO" "Dachshund" puppies on 2/14/26. Took them to their "recommended" vet within the two days allowed per the agreement. Their "VET" advised they were in perfect health. Since then and imemdiately right after we took them to our vet, low and behold these two puppies still had worms and parasites. While the worms have been treated, unfortunately, after 3 months they STILL have PARASITES and have costed me hundreds of dollars to treat them. In addition, one of the puppies isnt even a dachshund and the paperwork we received is completely WRONG! Please expect demand letter from our attorney! read more

I don't know how these people can live with themselves. I went in last year to buy an english bulldog from them. She was almost $2,000 which is expensive but not unheard of for this breed. They told me they had a service to finance it at little to no interest. This obviously sounded great so I signed up for it and got approved. Turns out this is actually a huge pet LEASING SCAM. You don't actually own the dog and they charge you almost 300% interest. I've now paid more than what the dog cost and still owe the company money. All in all they want me to pay over $7,000 for the dog. The staff at this shop know full well what they are tricking customers in to and they are ruining lives. My credit score is now TRASHED because of this shop. It's gone down over 100 points because of this leasing scam and my plans of buying a house were halted to a screech. Hello, I'm writing my review on this puppy store because I very unhappy with how the owner and his services that he has giving me and my family. I purchased a Pomeranian cream/white on Aug 29.2017 and he Died today October 1,2017. the puppy was really sick when I took him to the recommended vet witch my other 3 pet go as well. (but I didn't get my other pet from Gorgeous Puppies & Kittens). The Doctor at westwood vet look at him and told me he is really sick he give me meds for the puppy and told me to come back in 2 weeks. Once I lift the vet I call the pet store to tell him what the doctor said. And he told me okay if he is sick he will take care of it. During this time hurricane Irma was coming to Florida I stay in homestead and I stay in a flood zone area so me in my family had to go. we want out of town on Thursday 7 came back on Saturday 16,2017. once we came home we had to get ourselves together on Thursday 21.2017. I called the clinic to see when I can come in but the systems was down. so I had to wait I called the owner of the pet store he did not answer. then I gave it time during this time the puppy was looking and acting different but eating well. Monday October I was going to take to puppy vet to see what was wrong with him. But inside the puppy died today....... I called the owner of the pet store he said that he was getting his phone fixed. he really didnt want to hear what I had to say so I had my husband to call him and they want back and forward with the conversation and he said I SHOULD OF BRING HIM IN before 14days how was that possible if we lift cause of a hurricane. So my 4 children that wasnts their puppy is out of a puppy because this man sold us a sick puppy. 2000.00 went down the drain but hes happy cause he has his money. I have a confession to make. One of my goals in life is to get a puppy, but not just any puppy. I want a puppy that looks like the miniature Pomeranian, Boo. You know, the dog with over 6 million Facebook fans! If you don't know who I am talking about, look him up. He definitely deserves the title of "World's Cutest Dog". Anyways, on my search for the perfect dog, my friend and I stumbled onto a new puppy/cat store that recently opened called "Gorgeous Puppies and Kittens", located off Bird Road. We found it due to a large sign on the street. As my friend and I walked in, the product stands true to its name. They had gorgeous puppies and kittens. It's kind of weird to describe an animal as gorgeous, so let's just say the were adorable. We were greeted by the owner upon entering, and he told us that he would be getting more puppies, but only had a few because they just opened. The only cages at the front had a miniature pincher and Pomeranian, which he let us take out of their cages and allowed us to play with them on the floor. It was the highlight of my day. I will have to come back to see what else they have in stock, but if you are on the market for a new dog, I recommend that you take a gander here. The owner is friendly, and they also act as a pet hotel and offer grooming services. read more

Corgis are so hard to find, and I was lucky to find one in this store. The owner is very knowledgeable and gave us thorough instructions for taking care of our little one. If you plan on making a purchase in the future from this store, just don't. I just bought a puppy from here and the owner was very shady and creepy. He also doesnt accept any returns on pets if you plan on using a different vet instead of the one he recommends. Once you take your pet to a vet that isnt recommended by him, your contract is gone. My puppy had a birth defect or deformity from being stuck in this cage and when I brought him home you can tell how traumatized he was from having spent time at this place. read more

This establishment should not be allowed to sell puppies. I purchased a puppy from them nearly six weeks ago. Turns out the puppy was sick. The puppy was brought to Gorgeous puppies vet the very next day after purchasing. The puppy was sold with Kennel couch. I happen to have another puppy that instantly caught the kennel cough and ended up in the hospital on oxygen for 3 days. Kennel cough is lethal and highly contagious. I contacted the owner to address this and pay the vet bills. He brushed me off and said it is not his problem. Sadly I paid him cash for the puppy. I sent him a certified letter which he returned, and then finally went to the store. He looked at me like I was crazy. I handed him all the medical records and invoices and he asked me to give him a week. He never called me back. I called him today and His response was it is not my problem. DO NOT PURCHASE DOGS FROM PUPPY STORES. i used to work at a puppy store in kendall when one of the employees secretly told me "yes we get these dogs shipped in from a puppy mill out of state, but we need the money" just because i was young she probably didnt think i understood or cared. Then i learned what a puppy mill is and does. most of those puppies were sick, had tumors, would develop illnesses, neurological defects and more from birth. And their parents!? Emaciated, full of fleas, ticks, mange, diseases, bloody, in pain, in cages, covered in feces, urine, matts, blindness, tumors, injured, along with hundreds of others. ONLY USED TO BREED AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. One of the huskys i took care of sponanteously had a hard time breathing, my manager told me to put him in the back of the room and give him antibiotics. This puppy was dying from birth defects from a puppy mill. A pomeranian started to deficate blood and a small yellow worm. This was a dying puppy. Theses dogs are sold sick at $1200+ from these "lovable, caring" owners and employees that sell you a sick pup and done, YOUR responsability if it dies or its sick or something. ADOPT. Hi! I literally have never written a review. But I felt I had to do it after I saw this place has only 3 stars! I would give it a 5! I got my sweet Nala, when she was a 12 week puppy. Felt in love the moment I saw her... she is an apricot toy poodle and has brought so much happiness to my fiancé and my live, yo can't imagine. About the place, the owner was a very sweet men ( I don't remember his name , it was close to 2 years ago). He was very sweet , gave me all the important tips, and I got my baby with documents , pedigree and first vet visit at a very reasonAble price compared to others I researched. I highly recommend this place. I thin is a great value to good quality. The store is not the most luxurious but it was clean and had enough space to sit. I am sorry but I had to write a review after leaving this pet store. My husband & I passed by & saw the "puppies" sign & stop by. When we entered we were horrified at what we saw. The store smell horrible & was filled with terrified little puppies in small cages that were not clean. Dog feces everywhere & the owner of the pet store kept taking the puppies out for me to hold them even though I said no. They looked so scared, I felt bad really bad for them & wanted to rescue all of them! I left in disgust & with a heavy heart. Thanks for the inbred chihuahua. We bought a puppy in December because she looked like she was starving to death. Thousands of dollars in vet bills later we have a cute Lil dog that is so inbred she spends her entire day going in circles. She has to be caged in which she urinates and defecates in. Despite buying super expensive varieties of food she eats her own feces as well as the cats. I've spent thousands on training to no avail. Our vet explained that puppy mills often in breed dog's for their characteristics and that our dog is unfortunately we now own one. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! PLEASE!! This store needs to be shut down. The owner is a lier and the most dishonest, cold hearted and mean person I have ever had to talk to. My family just had to put our dog down and a few weeks later we decided to get a puppy. We really wanted a min pin and this place had one. We went there and fell in love with him. The girl at the place said he woke up in the morning with a runny nose and nothing else. I thought nothing of it. We took him to "their " vet for a check up. They gave him a prescription and said it's just a little cold nothing else. After we took him home, something didn't feel right. I took him to my vet and got him an X-ray. 80% of him lungs with filled with pneumonia. The doctor couldn't believe her eyes. My husband called the owner and he promised that all medical bills would be covered by him. We had to leave him overnight on oxygen and on an IV. $2000 later, when we sent him the invoices he told us to F*** ourselves and started yelling at us. He's a dishonest thief and I feel terrible for the animals in his store. If this is how he treats people imagine how he must treat these poor animals. Please go elsewhere. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went with a friend to buy a puppy as a gift for her son less than a year ago. This dog became a part of the family and just died recently- the vet said that the dog was born with a condition and suggested we discuss options with the breeder. This breeder gave guarantee on paper, but refused to refund the money or offer anything for selling a sick puppy. Don't walk away from this place- RUN! This is the worst puppy store I've ever visited. The smell is terrible, the dogs are maltreated, not showered, hair is brushed too hard to impress potential buyers and stuck in small cages 3 or 4 at a time. We bought our puppy here a month ago, and since have spent thousands of dollars restoring it back to health. Thank God that we took the Maltese to our vet instead of their recommended "expert" veterinarian because ours mentioned the dog didn't have much time to live. After multiple nights in a an emergency room for pets and many weeks of antibiotics our dog is finally back to being healthy. We requested that the owner honor the Florida Statutes and pay the treatments & medications for the dog and he said to read the contract and that we didn't go to his "expert". We'll see what the courts say soon!!! We are launching a lawsuit in the near-term to recoup those medical funds. We did not know this before, but this is the last time we purchase a puppy from one of these stores. After reading other reviews, it is obvious that these are just re-sellers of out-of-state puppy mills and they really do not care for the animals in the least, are just trying to make a quick buck from unsuspecting customers. read more

I went a couple of days ago interested in purchasing a Golden Retriever puppy. I took a picture of the paper with the information of the puppy and it's breeder. When I got home I looked up this breeder and she owns a puppy mill. The breeder is called Audrey Rottinghaus and her "agency" is called Wendy Hills Pets. Search her name on google and you will see under the humane society's webpage everything there is to know. We recently got a 9 week old Maltese from here and the experience was great. The store is very clean and the puppies were well kept. Gerardo was fantastic during our decision making process and spent an hour with us answering all if our questions. He had great documentation of our puppy's medical records, told us next steps and what to look out for, microchipped him on site and sent us home with a bag of good. When we called with a concern the next day he gave us some advice and then called again 2 days later to check on the pup. I have purchased two puppies from Gerardo and they have been the most amazing puppies ever!! He gives great deals and what I love the most is that he gives you the pedigree of the puppy along with the registration, He keeps his pet shop 100% clean all of the time and that is what makes the experience so much better! I never feel dirty or like my puppy is dirty in any way. I just recently purchased a beautiful Pomeranian puppy and he ended up having a little cough and Gerardo took him in right away, kept him for 3 days to care for him and when I got my baby back he was brand new! My fiance and I recently purchased an English Bulldog from Gorgeous Puppies and Kittens. The day we made the down payment we were told we could not take him home because he was sick, when we picked him up a week later he still had a cold but the store owner Gerardo said he was fine to go home with us but to take him for a check up within 48 hours which we did. When we took him for the check up he was prescribed antibiotics because he was still sick. A few days later our puppy could barely breath and we had to rush him to the pet clinic, we discovered the puppy had terrible pneumonia. When we called Gerardo to inform him that the puppy was dying he had the nerve to just say he would replace him. I have now emailed him numerous times trying to get my money back and for the vet bills to be paid and he does not respond. Do not buy puppies from here! This man is a terrible person and a thief! I had a horrible experience with him and this was my first puppy, I am now traumatized because I have lost my pup and this man wont even reimburse us after paying him $2000 for the puppy. read more
