The moment I walked in, the first thing I thought was it smelled nice and fresh. Adam provided great quick and welcoming service. He told us with the new changes to the menu and got our order in quickly without feeling rushed. Sushi was fresh and tasty and was $8.95 which for the area is a deal. I see why while I was sitting in eating their delivery pick up was super busy with people constantly coming in to pick up orders. The location is small so not good for big parties. They play good music for a sushi bar. They have chopsticks in a jar readily at all tables which is different. Normally when you're at sushi restaurants they give you throw away chop sticks and hopefully they do the same with these and they're not reusing them. Service was Ok. Once I received my food, no one came back to check on me to see if I needed anything else before finishing so I deducted a star for this. I would come back for the sushi though. read more

We got an assortment of rolls bc they sell 4-6 pieces for $4-8 which is a bargain in Chicago. I like that it allows you to try different rolls. The basic rolls were standard, worth it for the price. Specialty rolls were pretty good. Nothing to rave about necessary but solid and especially for the price point. I also got the salad and my husband got some apps but they did forget his fried shrimp, which we were charged for. We tried to call and no one answered the phone... we just let it go. The rolls I had were: Spicy Salmon 4/5 good, pretty straight forward California with eel 5/5 tasty!
