Goshen pizza is one of my go to stops on the way home. It's a great place, right across from the gas station in goshen. One of the reasons I love it is because they offer slices! It's perfect for a quick dinner or in my case to eat in my truck on the way home from a busy day! Their pepperoni and buffalo chicken pizza slices are so good! They offer many other things too! There's not a lot in Goshen. Trees, sure, bears, a fairgrounds empty most of the year, and two restaurants (one which is only open for brunch). Then came Goshen Pizza. They're central, they have a good menu, and they deliver. It's like having a piece of the real world. The fact the food is very good certainly doesn't hurt either, and helps them stand apart. I have yet to have something I didn't enjoy - although I am partial to the bacon, ranch, and chicken pizza. The serving sizes are generous, and the prices are fair. They're my #1 recommendation to anyone who comes to Goshen to eat. read more

Just opened in the same plaza as the Goshenette. Pizza is pretty neutral in flavor. Cheese pulls nicely as opposed to the really horrible processed kind. The eggplant is lightly breaded and cut longitudinal. It's not greasy and has a thin crust as we like. I think having it cooked a little longer or at a hotter temp would give a nice crunch to the bottom and a little more charred blisters on the top. That's obviously our preference as comparing it to New Haven pizza. Wings were "meh". Standard pre-made sauce that's all sugar and not much flavor. Held up pretty well as take out, so I'm sure dine-in would yield crispier wings. They should definitely "vent" the wing container though to cut down on the condensation. Grinder looked hearty. They didn't skimp on anything here. It's a typical crispy chicken grinder which I was looking for to bring to work tomorrow (haven't eaten it so no comment on the flavor).I know it will taste delicious tomorrow and hit the spot. Overall, the pizza is not bad. We are pretty critical about food so please take this review as our personal opinion and you should try it for yourself. They have just opened so I'm sure they are working out some kinks and perhaps my review may change. I have my favorite Pizza place in this area and this place is definitely #2 in my books. Having come from New Haven where pizza is a staple from Pepe's to Modern, I am a pizza snob. I just have to say that Goshen Pizza gives New Haven a real beat down ! The sauce is excellent, and the cheese is delicious. I especially like the thin crispy crust . I am so glad that I have them close by.! read more

Let's start with the hole-in-the-wall's menu: As it was handed to us, we were cautioned that this was the OLD () menu, so the prices MIGHT be different. Yeeeaaah. A chicken Caesar wrap and a large tuna sub garnered the owner $26.00*. My tuna sub (on stale bread) was in the crinkled aluminum foil. It was poorly wrapped and definitely looked like it had been reclaimed from another sandwich. Neither offering was anything about which we'd brag, and the gas station nearby seemed to have more appealing fare. My two best suggestions are: steer clear or send in someone you don't like. (*p.s. In the restaurants where we've dined, at least we'd get linen napkins.) read more

Cute little spot in the heart of Goshen, just past the rotary. Would be a great place to grab a quick bite when visiting the local animal attractions in the warmer months. The garlic knots were fresh and flavorful. Our cheese pizza was thin and yummy. Not the biggest fan of this type of sausage but otherwise it hit the spot and kept everyone happy. read more

Easy to drive by and not realize your driving by one the best local restaurants in New England. I implore you to stop and try one of your favorites. Starting with the bread; I don't know what kind of sorcery is happening behind the counter, but the bread is perfectly cooked and crisp. Pepperoni pizza had a perfect cheese to pepperoni ratio. Crispy slice with zero flop, minimal grease, and thin crust. Chopped cheese grinder (which is their rendition of a cheeseburger grinder) was one of the best cheeseburger grinders I've probably ever had. Not overdone with cheese, thin juicy tomatoes, and perfectly sautéed onions. Chicken parmigiana grinder was on a thin crisp roll, while remaining sturdy enough to never wilt or fall apart. Not only will I be returning to try the rest of their menu I will be doing the lords work and telling anyone within driving distance to make the trip. See you again soon Goshen Pizza! read more

Shocked to have paid almost $13, for an eggplant parm hero tonight. I've paid $9.95, in the past and was shocked to be charged $3, more without warning or notice. When I asked for a Menu I was told the "new menu" with new prices "weren't ready yet". I asked again the price and was told $12.95. Wasn't that upset until I got home and saw hardly any parm and two small pieces of eggplant on my 12" hero. Then I thought - Covid, inflation, it must be everywhere so called their "relatives" over in Litchfield and guess what? Still charging $9.95. I feel totally ripped off and so should everyone else who goes there in my opinion. Sorry, I'll drive to Litchfield or down the road a mile. And to think, I was one of their first customers and told everyone to go there. So, so disappointed! AND the owner was there the whole time and said nothing!!!! Nothing! So, so sad. Stopped in for a bite to eat when looking for a place to eat during a long drive. Maybe we should have tried the pizza. Maybe they were just having an off day. 1 Chicken Caesar wrap and 1 tuna sub = $26. The wrap was okay, nothing special. My husband's sub was on stale bread, drowning in mayo and the aluminum foil it was wrapped in appeared to be previously used. We'll be trying someplace different when in the area again. read more

We love this place! Are so happy to have a good pizza place that delivers in Goshen! At the start, it was a little rocky, but what starting company doesn't have its kinks to work out in the beginning?? We've gotten wraps, salads, pizza (obviously), dessert, cheesy garlic bread (oh my word delicious!) and they're all good. This is a great little addition to the lovely town of Goshen. I read some of the other reviews, and I'm a bit disappointed that in this day and age, people are going to be leaving bad reviews due to the rising cost of everything. For those complaining about the cost of fresh food, have you been to McDonalds recently and seen the increase to their prices.. and that isn't real food. This is happening everywhere, everyone is struggling to try and keep up with the increases in supplies and food cost- why would you be so cruel as to bash a small business for being FORCED to raise their prices? This isn't something any small business takes lightly- no one wants to increase the cost, but thanks to the wonderful people running this country, this is what it has come to. Please, if you aren't happy, talk to the owners, and they are wonderful people who will actually Listen to you, and try to make it right, one way or the other.
