I'm so pleased and impressed with the excellent services of Got Gophers. I called them last Tuesday, and a specialist arrived the same day. I showed him several mounds of dirt, and he concluded that I had at least one gopher. He set 4 traps. Two days later, I called Got Gophers for a followup (thought that I had another problem)...another specialist arrived, he ck'd the 4 traps and found one dead gopher in one of them. (Have been ck'g that area each day, with no sign of additional problems.) The specialist arrived this morning to remove the remaining traps. Got Gophers did a great job with our yard. We bought our house and as soon as we moved in, so did some unexpected neighbors. Miguel came out and explained the trapping they do. He set traps for moles and had snared two when he came back to check them. He also reset traps because he saw signs of a third mole that we didn't, and sure enough, there was a third one when he came back to check the traps. The trap reset was included in the initial fee. All in all, Got Gophers was fast, effective, and easy to work with. We will use them whenever the need arises. read more

I have lived in my house for 29 years and suddenly I had little critters tunneling under my front lawn. Having re-watched Caddyshack recently I figured they were gophers, but it turned out to be moles. After my gardener tried smoke bombs with no success I decided that I needed to call in the Marines and contacted Got Gophers. They were great! They came out and set their traps. Then they came back a couple of weeks later and removed them along with the moles. These people are reasonably priced and very prompt. Got Gophers is one of the companies for which I'd like to give more than 5 stars. Our interaction with them from the first step has been nothing less than stellar. Georgia is extremely prompt in responding to questions. The costs are very reasonable and we came out ahead of their competitors (some of whom would not even pick up the phone). The folks (Miguel and others) coming out to set the traps took their time to inspect the entire yard and not just the area where there was recent activity. They were professional, pleasant and happy to answer questions. They were prompt in following up to inspect, reset and re-lay new traps. In the second week, they caught the mole that was causing so much damage. But they continued to follow through on the service to ensure there were no other issues. I left Smith's for Got Gophers and I'm so glad I did. The owner, Georgia, is very responsive. I submitted a request on Yelp & heard back within the hour. The pricing was very fair & there wasn't a required contract, like the last company. The service person has been friendly, communicative & very careful when dealing with the grass/ flower beds on my property. He has caught gophers, moles & voles. I have to be on a bi-monthly service plan due to the surrounding wooded area. I wish I had hired a pro from the start. The natural deterrents just didn't work for me. We live in Redwood City. We have had Got Gophers come out many times. The people are extremely friendly and competent. WE have been pleased with all the work they have done. They found holes where rats were getting in the garage and under the house, they set traps, sanitized the garage, took a nest out of a tree, and rate proofed the garage. Great service from both owner, Georgia and technician, Victor. Only a month after installing new landscape in the front & back yards, critters were threatening to destroy my new plants. Within a day of contacting Got Gophers, Victor came onsite and set up traps. Victor determined I had both moles and gophers and set up a number of traps. After a week, a mole was trapped and over the course of the next several weeks, 3 gophers were also caught. Keeping fingers crossed that we won't have any new activity for a while. read more

Our lawn was a mess with mounds and holes caused by gophers that it was so uneven to walk on. I was quite frustrated as we could not use many of the gopher repellent products or suggested methods because of concern that they they may be harmful to our dog. We have been customers for a couple of years with great service, but last night Got Gophers went above and beyond in their customer service and it needs to be recognized. We had a problem with one of our traps that needed their expertise and needed it very quickly. The problem was it was 8pm on Saturday night. Because it was so late on the weekend, I didn't even think I would be able to get someone on the phone. I had skunks and other furry creatures going through an open hidden mesh and using my crawl space as an AirBnb so I contacted a bunch of companies including Got Gophers to get the skunks and help close the open mesh. They responded the quickest and gave the most competitive price. They also came by house on time and assessed the situation. Once they realized that closing the open mesh was out of scope for their service, they recommended a different company to catch the skunks and help close the mesh.
