Cute little place near PetSmart with good drinks. I've been here during the month it first opened and a few more times during quarantine. The stamp card is partially why I keep coming back. I will say that they really have improved from what I remember a couple months ago. My favorite drink is the brown sugar fresh milk & boba. I like it better than the brown sugar milk tea, perhaps because it isn't as sweet. The cheese foam is a pretty good addition to the drink. As for the creme brulee, it was too much caramel for me, but not bad overall. The boba itself is alright, not as soft as I would like it to be; one time, it was even too hard. Something I would NOT order again is the Paris 1883. It has caramel, egg pudding, grass jelly, boba, and crushed oreo. Way too many toppings that did not work well together. Their cups are adorable and I really appreciate their cupholders. It is so much easier to carry multiple drinks. Staff are always friendly and move quick. I will be back soon to collect more stamps! We got: * Honey Lemon Green Tea w/ Mixed Fruits * Taro Fresh Milk I loved their mixed fruit drink because they give a decent amount of fresh fruit and it tastes amazing! It's definitely mixed fruit because they give a wide variety of fruits from strawberries to cantaloupes and more! The taro fresh milk was also really good because they use real taro in the drink and I liked the texture of the bits of taro. The brown sugar teas are sweet so if you don't like your drinks overly sweet, then adjust accordingly. I sub the boba with grass jelly, I feel it cuts the sweetness a tad bit. Remember to mix the drink well, I didn't the first time and took a big drink, I must have made a face cuz the owner or mgr told me, you have to mix the drink well before drinking it,...duh on me! I ordered the the Strawberry Yogurt Popping Pearls for my sibling, and the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk Tea with Boba for myself! Now we got the Mango Yogumuji With Boba and also the Gotcha Signature Fruit Tea with of Course Boba now as we got our Boba Drinks I took my sip and I would say this is one of the best Boba tea shops around it had plenty of Flavor and the drinks were refreshing especially with the Boba !! This might be my new go-to boba spot in SGV! They take reusable cups, huzzah! On our way to dinner, BF asked if I wanted to stop by a BTS cupsleeve event that I had mentioned earlier. If the line was short and if they took our reusable cups, then I was down. Since we came close to 5 pm, there was only 2 people in front of us in line. Before ordering, I asked if they take reusable cups and the employee at the register checked with the kitchen before confirming yes. All right, I was gonna get some boba before dinner! Just so I remember, their medium size is around 16 oz and large around 24 oz. I ordered a green milk tea ($2.75), 50% sweet with boba (0.65 cents add on). Boba was chewy and my drink was very satisfying. BF got the bamboo charcoal slush ($5.50 for large). The taste of the drink reminded both of us of black sesame. I wasn't even aware of how cute the name of this boba shop was until I was actually out of the boba shop! Gotcha but also got cha? Haha, anyway - it's about time a decent boba shop opened up in this busy plaza. There has been a ton of new restaurants (mainly chain fast food), so it was pretty exciting to hear about a small business boba shop making its way into the boba scene. The store is located by TGIF and Ross, away from Target/LA Fitness. There's a lot of parking, but because the plaza gets so busy, you might have to walk a little bit further in order to get your drink. Interior is cute and cozy with some high chairs, sofas, and tables for people to sit and study. I can definitely see this being a busy place after school hours when students want to grab a cup of boba. Menu is a little off as it starts from the right screen then the left screen. I wish there were descriptions of the drinks so that I could have a better understanding of what is in each one (like Mom's Favorite - that sounds really good, but it can be anything!); however, the worker at the register was really nice and patient as she explained the drinks and answered all my questions. I ended up going with a typical favorite of mine - green tea with cheese foam in the large size ($4.50). The tea was pretty good. Very light and refreshing, but didn't have the strong scents of green tea I usually get from stronger tea joints. I did adjust for the drink to have 70% sugar though, so maybe that's why? The cheese foam at the top was pretty good - creamy with just the right amount of buttery-ness that when blended with the tea, tasted just right. Also ordered a regular boba milk tea with pudding and 50% sugar ($5.00). I personally wasn't a fan of the milk tea flavor - the drink did have hints of tea and milk, but was on the sweeter side and not a taste I normally associate with milk tea. My friend really enjoyed it though, but he doesn't normally drink boba like I do, so I don't trust his judgment when it comes to boba. The boba was slightly overcooked, but did have a sweetness to it that I enjoyed. It was hard to get the egg pudding when drinking the tea, but when I actually got to taste it, I thought it was pretty good! While the heart-shaped cups look cute for pictures, I prefer regular cups. Feels like I get slightly less drink in exchange for a more Instagram-able cup. They do have games that you can play if you're with a group of friends (or if you're by yourself and needing to kill time). tl;dr - Thought the drinks were pretty good, and I can see myself returning to try some of their more unique drinks. I love their teas you can taste the rich and fragrant teas shine through. My go to here is an Osmanthus oolong with half sugar and boba. If I'm craving a milk tea I'd order their oolong milk tea with 75% sugar and boba. You can definitely taste the deep oolong flavor through the creamer and sugar. I've also had their Fresh Milk with Cheese Foam and Creme Brulee, they drizzle the side of the cup with brown sugar syrup to sweeten the milk. It's quite simple, you may ask for extra creme brulee for the extra kick of texture and flavors. Their boba is always soft and chewy with a great honey flavor. I got a peach soda green tea w/50% sugar and crystal boba. I forgot to adjust the ice and they didn't ask, so I ended up with a cup full of ice. Even with 50% sugar, it was still super sweet. My boyfriend got the earl grey black tea which was pretty meh, you could make better at home for way less. It's located inside the Rosemead Plaza next to TGIF and has a ton of parking since it's at the end of the plaza. I came a few times already and tried a couple of different drinks. The boba was cooked well and the drink could have been sweeter for my tastebuds. For a new shop, I think they have a good foundation going as their decor is on point and they know how to make boba. Finally got to try this place after seeing their sign every time I drive to the gym! DRINKS- My friend and I coincidentally came during their Grand Opening so their drinks were BOGO half off. I got their Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/ Boba and my friend got their Green Milk Tea. As someone who does not typically go for super sweet and milky drinks, I decided to give this a try. Their drink is comparable to FTB's nom nom milk! Their boba was very chewy and warm when I got my drink. My friends drink, Green Milk Tea, was pretty bitter so we were assuming their forgot to sweeten it but the staff offered to remake the drink for us and it was great! I'd recommend sweetening your drink more if you don't want it to take straight up like green tea w/ milk! SERVICE- We didn't hear them call our number as we sat towards the front of the shop but the manager was super helpful and nice enough to come to us with our drinks in his hands. I really like their fresh milk drinks, like the brown sugar fresh milk with Boba or the maple sugar fresh milk with boba. They give you a good amount of the sugar syrup so the drink is sweet, but its not overpowering. I appreciate that the establishment is always spotlessly clean, and the Wi-Fi is pretty good. The service is always really kind, and they've gotten a lot faster with making their drinks, so there's not a long wait time. They get to give you a pager, so it buzzes when your drink is ready. The boba was just simply the BEST yet, not too soggy not too hard.. just right! I ordered the Brown sugar fresh milk w/ boba and I was in loooove! The employees were so helpful, friendly and efficient when making my drink. It has been open for a week or so, and due to their soft opening they discounted 25%. So that was pretty cool, I hope they have a stamp card when they due their grand opening. I can't wait to go back here, I will definitely be a regular customer. I thought the drink was pretty average for 626, but I gave an extra star for the cute bear shaped lychee jelly. I was so surprised that it was able to fit through the straw!
