Their business is in NJ, but claim to have plenty of other locations, but these seem to be not their business but broker deals with other dealers so if there is a problem I saw too many people to deal with. I stopped because of the crazy prices....$700 a day for a Corvette with 100 miles..are you nuts...and no insurance offered....no wonder he bad mouths TURO car rental on his channel where you can get the same car for $150 a day and 200 miles. My experience at the Gotham Dream Car Sprint was AMAZING!!!! I knew it was going to be cool to drive an exotic sports car, but it turned out to be even better than I expected!! Don't think my instructor told me his name but he was helpful and patient; I really liked him. I was kinda bummed that the Lamborghini was having issues and wasn't available to drive (that would have been my first pick) but the Ferrari worked out great. Kudos to whoever came up with your appointment/registration system because I loved the way we went through each step (sign-in, helmet, drive, photos) in an orderly and relaxed manner without having to stand in a line and with enough time in between to watch and anticipate but not too much time that we got bored. I'm sure some days are busier than others, but it seems like a well-designed system that would scale up or down depending on the size of the crowd. I'm going to do one thing differently next time. My one disappointment was that I never looked down at the speedometer so I could know how fast I went. Next time, I'm going to either ask the instructor to make a mental note for me, or try to remember to look down at the speedometer on the straight-away. read more

Planning a trip to the Hamptons and desiring a high-end car at the very last minute, I contacted Rob at Gotham who said he had a 2019 White Huracan Spyder that was in the shop but would be ready by my desired pick-up date. I agreed and submitted my deposit. The car ran great and really added to my overall trip and experience! The only issues were that there were a couple of lights that kept coming on: low coolant level, and service soon, and a minor issue with the convertible that I was able to resolve myself. The warnings, however, were false as the car never overheated, and the service soon one that I've seen in my car following service, I suspect was likely due to it not being reset after service was complete. Aside from my awesome experience with the car, I am giving 5 stars for the following reasons. Rob was able to secure me a high demand car at the very last minute when normally, at least from my experience, these cars must be reserved weeks in advance. Aside from the false warnings, the car ran great and in no way did it negatively impact my experience. The person reviewing the contract and setting me up, Cosmo, was very cool and down-to-earth and was very hospitable in offering me a drink and letting me use the 'higher-end' bathroom when I had to go. His dog was also very cool and friendly too! Also, when I first noticed the lights and took the car back, I could tell he cared and was sincere in his concern. He told me I did the right thing by coming right back and not taking a risk with the car and my safety. He had another person take it for a test drive to confirm it was a false warning, and to be safe, they opened up the rear cover, undid the screws for the coolant, and topped it off. Upon having the issue with the top not going down, I left a message for Rob and he called me right back and was going to contact service to get more info, just before I was able to give the rear cover a little 'nudge' that was enough for the automated top-down process to complete. Ditto for putting the top up. Finally, when I returned the car, John took $1 off the mile overage rate that saved me over $100. My only recommendation, which Rob already stated he will be doing, is to follow up with the service department on the issues encountered and ensure they are more thorough before releasing the car. Again, bear in mind, I was able to get that car (2019 White Huracan Spyder) within 2 days of my desired rental date, and they were able to make it happen with only some minor issues. I will finish off by saying thank you to Rob, John, Cosmo and the team for making it happen, for treating me like family, for being attentive of and concerned about the issues even though they were minor, and for renting me an awesome car that made my trip to the Hamptons an exhilarating and memorable one. read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS. I waited for 45 minutes to get 2 1/2 minutes behind the wheel, and never got above 60 mph, and when I did go fast, it lasted ABOUT 2 seconds before you had to turn. What a f**king scam. They don't give a CRAP about your experience, I was expecting a real track, and at least 10 - 15 min in the car. I paid the $99 DISCOUNT, and that piece of shit experience was worth about $5. I feel ripped off and EXTREMELY disappointed. Thank god I only drove 30 minutes to get there, I feel sorry for people who drove for 90 min or more (there was a person there who came from a place 2 hours away. First time i drove with Gotham Dream Cars was over two years ago when it first opened up to the sprint over at the arena in Sunrise, FL. I drove the F430 Ferrari with the upgraded suspension. WHAT A RUSH!!!! I had an amazing time and the team members were great. This second time we took a friend for his birthday but it was at the Central Florida Racing Complex. He has never been close to driving a car like this so i thought it would be nice, oh was i right. He was WOW'ed by the experience, and wants to do it again. He drove the Ferrari and had the time of his life. I myself could not hold back and purchased a run myself while i was there, but this time i decided to try the Gallardo, and wow did i enjoy the AWD and power on that car. Grade A A-holes! Should've recognized the first red flag when we bought the groupon for the "sprint" and they informed us we had to book a date within 5 days or the groupon is no longer valid. We booked anyway. Some business came up out of town and I was going to be about 6 hours away at the time of sprint. So I emailed requesting to reschedule.. Not cancel, or asking for a refund, just reschedule. I was told that they cannot do that within 10 days of the event. I told them this was last minute business, and they refused. So instead, they took my $200 (purchased two sprints), and couldn't care less about me. Horrible customer service, arbitrary policies. Oh and after researching about it... You literally drive around in a parking lot for a few minutes then it's over.... Really sad and disappointing. I am going to contact Groupon and try to get a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE! I did the dream car tour and overall it was good (not great). For the money you spend on this tour (which is roughly $1k for about 1.5 hours of actual driving time) you would expect 6 super cars. Instead what we got were two truly super cars (Ferrari 458 and Lambo LP 560-4 Spyder) two high end cars (Maserati GranCabrio and Mercedes SL-63 AMG) and two cars that I would say many of the drivers on this tour could already own (Porsche 911 and the Maserati Ghibli). Don't get me wrong, the 911 and Ghibli are certainly nice cars but when you advertise Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren and Bentley it's a definite let down. The Ghibli was a total joke as it wasn't even the AWD 400hp version. The way I look at it, I had two truly super cars and 4 high performance cars. Is that worth $1k for 90 minutes of driving? Not to me, especially when you consider I could have test driven the Mercedes, the two Maserati and the Porsche for FREE. My recommendation to management would be to either drop the prices or include SIX truly super cars on this tour. read more

I received a birthday gift for a driving experience in a Lamborghini Gallardo. I must have called five times trying to get a date for the next available opportunity to drive it. They informed me that I had to call in each day to see if the car was available and if it was I could come down and drive it. I informed them that a reputable business makes an appointment with their customers and doesn't force them to call in daily to see if the product is available. I was told that there were no other options other than to ask for my money back. I'm waiting for my $250 dollar credit on my card. What a lame experience and I can't believe they don't try harder to earn my business. Oh well, I'll spend the money on another exotic car experience that needs the money. read more

So for whatever reason, Gotham asked for me to post my emailed review to them 4 months after I initially sent it. I don't think that they actually read it, but here is hoping that this review helps someone save their money: I thought the experience was "pretty good." I do have a couple complaints though that really would have made the experience better for me. The website said it would be a 3-5 minute experience. My wife started filming as soon the car started moving, and the whole thing took 2:20, including my instructional lap. I think it would be a better experience if you just gave 5 minutes. "5 minutes, $99, Open autocross track in a Lamborghini" would have been perfect. I recently saw an ad for the Vegas track for $199. It included 5 laps on the 1.2mi track in an Aventador. I think I would have to pick that experience if did something like this again. The tires got changed before I drove (I was the first drive in the lambo on sunday). The front and back rims were different colors (silver and black) and styles. I really think that made the car look terrible. For me half the experience is driving it, and half of it is the lambo/ferrari look. I really think the two different wheels made the car look bad. It made it look like the 16 year old with the honda civic that can only afford two wheels. I felt like I needed to selectively share the pictures with people and explain the process, which is annoying and takes away from the good experience. It's a Lamborghini, and it should speak for itself. Why did I have to wear a helmet but the instructor didn't? That was annoying to see in the pictures. I wish I would have been given the option to not wear it. Especially since the speed I got up to was standard highway speed. The closest I have seen you guys come to me is 45 minutes from my house. So, this was a fun experience that my wife bought me as a gift that we made a weekend out of, and that made it good. But if I had driven 45 minutes to drive for 2 minutes and 20 seconds in a Lambo with different colored wheels I definitely would have been disappointed. read more

This was an Event, That is what you make it!! It was not really about the cars, I drove a turbo porsche to the event, and have a bentley gt at home, and an X5M winter car. I love cars! This was a fun event that let you beat on some beat on exotics for a few minutes. I took my employees to the event at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT, which made for a lot of fun after the event. The cars are ok, but the fun part is the course, yes it is only 3 laps, and yes, the cars are not in the best condition, but when you have a group of guys trying to outdo each other it became a great time. The staff was young but attentive and fun (most of them), and had great attitudes. They wanted you to have fun and enjoy the day. Would i do it again? YES, for a couple hundred bucks (and I paid for all of my guys, plus a lunch at the casino) it was a great sunday afternoon. Go with a group of friends and make the event the way you want it! TO THE PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW!! Exotic cars have rigorous upkeep at super high costs ( 30K service around $30k ) Tires, plus brakes, and of course FUEL, plus staff and overhead. PLUS, its still a business and they are there TO MAKE MONEY$$$$$ So in reality spend the $1200 plus and rent the car for a day, or spend a hundo or two and drive for a few minutes!! Dont expect to drive a $200K car all day for a few bucks, aint gonna happen! I would charge way more than that if you wanted to take my exotic. read more

Don't bother with this on groupon. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Bought for my boyfriends birthday on May 1, had to use by June 19th. No big deal, but there was literally one option, and as it turns out my boyfriend couldn't do it that day, so I waited a few days and then all of a sudden all of the options disappeared? I checked for every single location all over the USA and they all say the same thing, no dates. Now it just seems to me like a bad business to only offer 50 odd days to say use it or lose it, but then to not offer any days at all? I honestly believe I got scammed with all of this. My boyfriend called around June and asked about future dates and the person on the other end said we could pay $50 and use it past the expiration date (just getting more money out of you) but when we called again to question about further dates they said we couldn't use our voucher anymore. I would check every 2-3 weeks to see if we could find somewhere within driving distance (at this point, I'm willing to drive 5 hours just to do it) but nothing is ever available. I know it's only $125 on groupon but PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not purchase. You will lose every penny you paid for it. read more

I did the sprint in King of Prussia Pa over the weekend and wanted to write a review of my experience because it was far different from what I read on Yelp prior to going. The sprint was bought through Groupon with a few friends. I bought it before reading these reviews so I was disappointed in wasting my money and expected the worst. However that is far from what actually happened. No, it's not a racetrack. But I didn't expect a race track because I read the fine print before going. Yes, you do have to pay sales tax. Just like you pay sales tax when using a groupon at a restaurant or a spa (news flash, Groupons don't cover tips either so I hope these other reviewers have been tipping their servers!!) It was a short drive, and the wait was about an hour. It was in the parking lot of a casino which was odd. One of my friends asked why the wait was so long and they explained that the casino didn't clear the parking lot of cars like they were supposed to, so they got started late. However the wait wasn't bad; it was fun watching other drivers take out cones and they offered us free water. When I got in the Lambo (as they call it) the instructor (I think Ed??) was very straightforward and good at explaining things. I was nervous about shifting but he told me he would take care of the paddle shifters so I could focus on the course. The course was a lot of fun!! Some turns were scary and it was weird to not brake on them, but he assured me the car could handle because that is what Lambos are made for. The first lap is a slow practice lap which was fine. I think the people who expect to get into a $100K car and floor it from the get go are overestimating their driving ability. And if they are professional racecar drivers, they probably wouldn't be wasting a measly $100 on a fun sprint. I have no idea what speed I got up to, I never took my eyes off the road. But it felt very fast. I was shaking when I got out of the car. My friends also had great times. They offer an optional in car video, which I declined, but afterwards I wish I had gone for it. If anything, to be able to remember what the instructor said about braking into turns (Don't I think??) But they did send me a bunch of really cool pictures of my drive, and me in the car for free. All in all, doing the sprint was a really fun and different experience and I enjoyed it very much. As for the other reviewers, I am not sure why they are so negative about so many things that were answered in the fine print. If they didn't read it, that is on them, not the sprint. On deciding on a day/track I was informed that neither was available and that they'd be adding more track days later on in the year, this was OK, I'd wait. Months passed and I tried again. Nothing, still no tracks/days. Fast forward to over a year later!!! Called up to find still no days/tracks available and that they've now cancelled this event!! I have driven the Dream Car Sprint last year and I had an absolute blast. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. It was a rainy day and luckily the rain stayed away long enough that I could drive on a pretty dry track. The track was fun; it had some elevation change, a hairpin, and a nice section of "esses". I couldn't have been happier. Flash-forward to this year and I couldn't be more disappointed. I inquired as to the change of location from last year to this year and I was told it was because the last track was bumpy and took a toll on the cars. Fair enough, they don't want their cars getting torn up. However, this new track (in Nashville, not Goodlettsville) was a joke. First, it was small and not just in comparison to last years sprint. It's tiny. T-I-N-Y. So tiny in fact, the "driving instructor" told me not to go out of 2nd gear. At all. Not into first, not into 3rd. Staying in second gear meant that in the lowest speed corners I had NO POWER coming out.It was like stepping on a pedal of massive disappointment. Last time out I scared myself, this time I felt like I was on one of those horse rides where the horse is tethered to a spinning thing and you just go around in circles...every once in a while the horse would gallop. Last year I was well coached. The "driving instructor" really had me pushing my own comfort level. This year, i was basically told to drive slow until I hit the "straight" and then to "punch it." PUNCH WHO? Please tell me. He sure didn't mean the gas because when I did, nothing happened. IT'S A F430!!! I was to feel my guts yanked backwards! I must have scared the guy. I understand having a complete stranger sit in the drivers seat of a fire breathing Ferrari is scary but I wonder has this guy ever tried to "properly" drive? I mean, Jeremy Clarkson is looking for a job. Hire him. I wouldn't scare the life out of him by braking a hair later than their pretty little orange cones say to. Now, the track sucked and the "driving instructor" sucked. So care to guess how my time went? Yep. Sucky. Apparently they booked this parking lot "sight unseen" due to the amount of people who were unable to find the location last year... Really. So they thought it prudent to pick a parking lot that they had NO IDEA would be a terrible fit for two of the WORLDS GREATEST SPORTS CARS! So let's recap. $250 bucks for 8 laps that lasted oh, maybe 12 seconds each. My total time maybe was 5-7 minutes behind the wheel. That's a lot better than last year when I purchased one ride, i was in the car for 3 minutes and 20 seconds (i took video). I didn't care I HAD A BLAST. THIS YEAR HOWEVER, SUUUUUUUUUUCKED. Lame, boring, small track. Rude "instructor" all brought on by a massive lack of planning. I will never spend my money on this again. I went from loving this sprint and wanting to do it every year to never going to spend my money on such a massive unknown ever again. The ONLY bonus, I was in a Ferrari F430. Convertible. That's the only reason this got 2 stars. I would recommend this to someone who has never done it before. Maybe wants to give it a go in a Ferrari. Anything else. I wouldn't say do it. Especially if you don't use Groupon. $250 for 3-4 mins is nowhere near worth it when bought through their site. $150/ride, yes. Worth it. I believe the experience they offer is a really good value. On Saturday I got to drive a Lamborghini Gallardo for three laps on a little auto-cross course and, with the group-on, it only cost $125. I am a sports car enthusiast and I have owned many throughout my life. It was definitely worth it to have the experience of driving this car. Quite frankly, while the Lamborghini does have a lot of power and looks beautiful, I was rather surprised at how poorly it handled. I suppose that I am a bit spoiled, as I currently own an Acura NSX and a Porsche Boxster, both mid-engine cars which have impeccable handling. However, this is just not something I ever would have known had I not done this drive. The people who run the event are incredibly nice and friendly, and make the experience run smoothly. If you want a chance to drive an exotic sports car at this level and have no other way to do so, it is highly recommended. I have already purchased another Group-On to go back and drive the Ferrari 430 the next time they are in town. read more

I did this in Chicago and it was about a 2 minute wait because i pre-registered online and I arrived around 2:30PM. I was in the car at 2:35. It was super short, but everyone complaining about this apparently doesn't know what an autocross track is, because it was exactly what I expected. That's the thing I don't get here about some of these reviews. It clearly said it was an autocross track, and yet people are mad because it was a cone track in a parking lot. Apparently all these other automotive enthusiasts have absolutely no clue what autocross is. I paid 99 dollars for 3 laps of an autocross track in a $200,000 car and I got to drive it hard enough to drift around the apex of a corner at 40MPH. I got to drive it hard enough to make the brake heat warning light go on. If you're looking at this review and the others, you need to go in to this expecting it to be what it is. 3 laps is kind of short on an autocross track, but it was worth it to me. Anyone whining about staying in second gear is clueless about autocross as it's not about going fast; it's about cornering. Most cars are lucky to hit 40 some autocross setups. read more

I noticed that everyone here who gave bad reviews got the Groupon $99 deal. i have to be honest here - i'm sorry, but you get what you pay for. If you really think $99 will get you real time in an exotic car, you need to readjust your expectations. The gas alone for these cars, maintenance, and depreciation you put on them will barely be covered by $99 bucks. I am a paying customer of the regular priced experiences, which are several hundred dollars up to nearly $1K, and for those offerings, you get solid time on the road and a truly UNFORGETTABLE experience. I got nearly an hour on open roads, got to test the speed of the extremely exotic cars I paid to experience, and sat with a highly knowledgeable instructor the entire ride. It was seriously one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. and worth every penny. Also what helped was that I read the description of the offering very carefully and didn't expect more than what was clearly advertised. I guess the main fault that Gotham Dream Cars has in these negative reviews was offering a watered down experience for the sake of putting out a Groupon deal in the first place. I had so much fun during my Dream Car Sprint! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, making the experience fun and enjoyable. My expectations were definitely met, and exceeded with the fact that I was giving a CD of pictures from my experience, which I wasn't expecting. I had so much fun, and I keep telling everyone they need to go try it as well! My parents had purchased the $99 Groupon for my birthday, so we did the experience at the Florida International Rally and Motorsport Park . We came early, about 10-20 minutes before my experience, but the team immediately got me signed in and I didn't even have to wait until my expected appointment time to drive. My instructor was Ryan, and he was very polite and patient. I definitely liked having him as my instructor. read more

Check out Gotham Dream Cars if you want a tiny taste of what it's like to drive an Italian exotic. We went on Saturday, April 8th, at Keystone Airport. The address says Starke, but it's really just outside of Keystone Heights, just over the line into Bradford Co. You get to drive either a Ferrari F430 or a Lamborghini Gallardo (actually, a more powerful version thereof, but I don't recall the exact model) on a 1/2 mile course. There's a short straight-away, a right turn, then a longer right turn (almost a hairpin). Afterwards come the "esses", another right, then back around to the straight-away again. My brother and I drove the Ferrari. My first impression was "damn, this is a SERIOUS car!" It really got my attention and I was completely focused on the task at hand. There's an instructor in the passenger seat, and he's very helpful, telling you when to start the turn, hit the brake, accelerate, etc. There's a total of 4 laps, which go fast, but I found I was still reliving the experience for two or three days afterwards. This is the sort of thing that could awaken a dormant obsession in one's deep subconscious. While I'm not at a position to pursue competitive driving, had I done this 20 or 30 years ago, who knows what may have happened? We were both glad to have done it. Our mother drove the Lambo, by the way, but it was more of a nice "Sunday drive" than anything else. She enjoyed it, too . . . read more

My wife gave me a "Dream Car Sprint" experience through Gotham Dream Cars this past Friday, and let me tell you it's the most fun I've had in a real long time. Worth it at almost any price, my wife got a deal through Groupon for $99! Here's the deal; you get four laps in a supercar (I did a Lamborghini) - that's it! Adrenaline releasing and simple, the course was perfect for the task and my professional co-pilot was half safety monitor and half devil on my shoulder. I just remember him telling me about a second before I would have hit the accelerator after a turn "GUN IT - NOW, NOW, NOW!!". Thanks Damien!! All in all I can't wait to get a bunch of my friends together, purchase about 3 rides and just enjoy a half a day of channeling my inner race car driver. The best part was that the whole thing was amazingly well organized, and staffed by a bunch of people that were just genuinely nice. No attitudes here, they really want you to have fun and seem to have a passion for the service they provide. Can't wait to get out there again!!! This was the worst experience I've had with a business in quite some time. I originally purchased the "dream sprint" as a Fathers Day gift for my step father in June through Groupon. I was informed by email soon after that the dates I had reserved were no longer available. I called their 800 number for more information and to inquire about new dates and the receptionist was no help. She kept directing me back to their website not wanting for me to speak to anyone in person. A trademark of their horrible customer service as I came to learn. I then re-registered for the "dream sprint" again in late September, nearly 3 months later due to lack of availability. I was a bit concerned because the weather forecast showed high chances of rain the day of the sprint. I double checked my email the evening before and morning of in case of a cancellation notice, there was nothing. As we arrived in the Bay Area (a 2 hour drive) the weather had cleared and we sat down for lunch. I then noticed Gotham had just sent an email cancelling the event. Please DO NOT waste your money!!! I participated in the Dream Car TOUR in New Jersey. Overall, fantastic experience. Gotham Dream Cars Staff were polite and friendly, and the cars were in top-notch shape. Aside from the small struggle of trying to stay together as a group when the cars headed out, I had a great time driving for 3 hours. We drove on the highway, main roads, and backroads--most were actually very scenic routes. The lead and tail cars were spaced and the drivers were free to light up the cars. I was actually surprised at how much freedom they allowed us, as long as we weren't doing anything unsafe or too crazy. Highly recommended, and based off of other reviews, I think the Tour is a better deal than the Sprint. Even though it is more expensive, its definitely worth it. read more

This was a great experience, start to finish. I did this in Harrisburg PA at the farm show overflow parking lot. Gotham did a fantastic job of communicating information before the event, and getting as much of the paper work as possible out of the way before you even arrived. Once there I was inside the Ferrari within 10 minutes. I opted to purchase additional laps that I could then use in the Lambo. The instructor was fantastic. He was both friendly and very beneficial in helping you get the most out of your time in the car. On the first "training" lap he gave very clear directions on how you should take each corner to maximize speed. People should be aware that these "tracks" are in parking lots, and they are not very long. But I enjoyed the layout of this course, they even took the time to draw it up on a white board and name it, I thought that was a nice touch. The Orange Lambo and Gray Ferrari you see in the pictures here are indeed the cars that you drive. You can tell they take some abuse, but who cares? You are driving them for a few laps, not buying them. They ran flawless, and are stupid fast with handling you can't believe. This is the 2nd time I have done an event like this, and the first time with Gotham. Compared to the other company I did it with (who I thought also did a good job) Gotham was easily superior. The cost of the extra laps was less, you didn't have to add on any "insurance", and best of all they threw in a bunch of pictures for free. At the end of the drive I was given a USB stick with around 50 pictures on it of my time on the tracks. A few posed pictures with each of the two cars, and the rest all action shots of me driving. The fact that there is no charge for this nice bonus is a huge plus, and the pictures are of good quality. At the venue they had chairs, free water, and some music playing. All of the staff were both friendly and talkative both before and after. I even stayed around a bit longer to chat with a few of them about motorcycles. A nice tip is to bring your own DOT helmet if you have one, especially if you have a half size brain bucket style. Having your ears open makes it much easier to hear and the hat style helmets are much less annoying. You should be aware of what you are buying, the laps do go fast and the experience is over quickly. But I think it is well worth the money, these cars cost more than most people's houses. Even being able to drive them for a few minutes is something you will never forget. If they come back to the area no question I would do it again. Gotham did a fantastic job. read more

This was a gift for my 12 year old and one he will never forget. Even with slick road conditions, the professional drive got all he could out of that lambo and had my sons fists white knuckled. Now he can say, "Been there. Done that. Got the t-shirt." Literally! read more

COMPLETE AND UTTER FAIL! I received this as Fathers day gift from my two daughters. I was totally psyched for such a cool gift. We showed up for our appointment in San Diego, and were told that the cars that were available were either a base model Lambo or Ferrari. Well I thought not exactly what they portray on their website, and not what I was hoping for, but keeping an open mind I decided to make the most of it. I sat in line in the parking lot of Qualcom stadium for almost 1/2 an hour to just check-in for my pre arranged appointment, which gave me the opportunity to watch as the teenagers running this mess continually showed their lack of customer service or even concern for their customers. I watched as driver after driver never left 2nd gear, never got any faster than maybe 60-65, and were so scared of breaking the regulations that they could not enjoy the experience. The drivers got out after their turns behind the wheel looking completely disappointed! I honestly felt bad for them. When my turn to register finally came I was told by a snotty teenager that I was not allowed to downshift to first gear, and that any tire squealing would meet with immediate forfeiture of your ride. Your laps included an instructional lap that counted against your 3 laps... and then; my wait time would be around 2 hours! WHAT?!? The course was a haphazard arrangement of cones that would give my high school driving class nightmares. No thought as to camber, or even course surface, as it was littered with parking lot trash from other events, pot holes, and broken asphalt. The cars were ok but not the 600hp versions that they entice you with on the web page. Quite frankly, go over to your local car dealership and test drive one of their higher end sports cars and you will be way happier, and $100 still in your pocket. Gotham is a joke! read more

Bought a Groupon for my wife's birthday for the dream car sprint in Chicago, pretty disappointing. It was run by a bunch of kids, disorganized, no bathrooms or even a port a potty available, they try to up sell you to the "better" car by telling you the line is shorter, be prepared to wait HOURS past your scheduled appointment, unless you want to shell out another $80. Driving the car was fun but too short, only three laps around a parking lot, never got out of second gear. The guy who road with me was nice, but wouldn't do it again. read more

Just came back from my Gotham Dream Cars Sprint at Nassau Coliseum in Hempstead. I received this as a gift from my family for Father's Day. I got there, checked in, chose my car -- the red Lamborghini Gallardo -- and waited my turn. There was a choice of three cars -- the Lamborghini (512hp, 0-60MPH in 4.1s), a Ferrari F430 (483hp, 0-60MPH, 3.9s), and a Ferarri 599 (620hp, 0-60MPH 3.3s). Note that the Ferrari 599 was a $100 premium above and beyond the other two vehicles, but unless you just HAVE TO be photographed behind the wheel, I couldn't imagine you would be able to get above 100MPH on the limited track. The fact of the matter is that while it is nice to drive any of these rockets on wheels, you can't get past second gear at events like this because the straightaways just aren't long enough (I am sure this is by design). I couldn't get above 75MPH because of this. Now if they held these events at Englishtown Raceway or some other local racetrack, you can definitely put cars like these through their paces. Regardless, the ride was nice. They give you an instructional lap to get the feel of the car, and then three laps at full throttle (as full as you can give it in the confined space you are given). The car screams and practically begs to be given the throttle to its max, but sadly, the straightaway ends and you have to cut back a bit going into the turns. Although, going into the turns the car sticks tight to the asphalt and I am sure I could have given it more of a push. Had I had a few more laps to play, I might have given it that extra push. At the end they give you a CD with the photos taken by the photographer they have on the track as you drive. If you wanted a GoPro video (first person point-of-view), you have to cough up additional cash. They also have t-shirts and totes for sale as well, but weren't worth the price they wanted for them. I recommend the experience, but if they offer it at a proper racetrack, that's where I'd really recommend you take the ride. read more

I have to say, I was extremely impressed by my experience with GDC. I've been on their mailing list a while and decided to buy a "test drive" at the end of 2016. Even though it said based on availability, the friendly staff at GDC offered me a free upgrade since the car requested was unavailable. Thus began my 20 minutes in heaven with the 458 Spider. Thanks to my copilot John, who knew exactly where to go to experience the Italian beast's V8 in all its glory, I didn't at all feel limited as people often do when spending limited time with a dream car. I left the test drive satisfied, obviously with the car but also with the GDC staff. I even got to briefly meet and greet Rob Ferretti, who was admittedly a lot nicer than I imagined him. read more

This place is terrible, beware of horrible customer service!! I bought a groupon and waited for months to take my husband to try this three lap event. Less than a week before, after I made sure to take off of work, change the entire family's schedule etc, I got an email that coldly informed me the event was cancelled and it was to be rebooked for the next month. I was not asked if the date suited me, was not offered any kind of compensation for the time wasted or anything of the sort- and when I told them all of this I was told to contact groupon! I am never using them again and would recommend you all stay away fro them too... read more

I Never got to let you know how it went with my last drive. First off what a great service you provide to your customers. My only complaint was my instructor talked the whole time about being deployed to Afghanistan. This was very disconcerting while I drove it turned what should have been a respite for me into a very sober moment. I don't get any Vacations and this was a treat my wife gave me for my birthday - it was a huge sacrifice for her to spend so much money on this treat to have it more or less ruined by the instructor Her & I together do not earn much in fact we r on the poverty line. While he was yacking away it became distracting and on the 2nd lap I had been driving very slow I accidentally shifted to first gear he damn near bit my head off - then on the 3rd lap he said oh you can drive fast now. It was fun but he made it anti-climatic :( read more

I cannot speak to the actual experience of Gotham, but any purchaser should BE WARYof the possibility for date changes last-minute. Excitedly, I booked Gotham Dream Cars as a birthday present for my boyfriend through Groupon well in-advance. Then, on short notice, Gotham emailed me to let me know that due to an "internal scheduling conflict" they would need to reschedule me. The date they proposed we move our experience to was July 4th weekend! His birthday present was set to be in early June. I was surprised that they could not offer something sooner than the weekend coincing with July 4th, and like most alreayd had plans as it is a holiday weekend. Rather than reschedule, I was so frustrated by this that I decided to get a refund. Thank goodness Groupon worked with me on this. The company seems a bit disorganized to me and I feared from this experience that I was being scammed by them. Once again, I cannot speak to the actualy driving experience. I am sure it is fun. However, warnign that you may not ever make it to being behind the wheel! read more

Day 2 of dream car ride -we arrived about 8:45, so very few people were there. We were # 3 and were taken care of immediately. I did hear one of the workers tell another to make sure things kept moving along. I also received several email apologies for our problems on Saturday. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the drive. If Sunday was Saturday, it would have been perfect. If you do decide to go - make an early appointment. read more

Same negative experience in Florida. Staff do not know what they are doing with very poor service. You are taking a small drive in a beat up exotic car. Save your money and go to a theme park for some roller coasters if you want some thrills. read more
