Great food, poor service, missing part of our order. Nothing worse than picking up a meal and part of your order isn't there.

Came here during lunch with my team. Was able to barely beat the lunch rush when we arrived at 12pm. They have a large variety on their menu. Be on the lookout for their specials of the week. I wanted to try their horchata milkshake but they were out. I settled for the Oreo, and man, it did not disappoint. The consistency of the shake is near perfect. Not too watery, not too thick. It was well-blended, so there weren't any chunks that got stuck in the straw. I ordered the burger with an egg. Good size. Did not have trouble eating it. Very juicy. Wish the patty was a little more on the medium rare side. Got the chili cheese fries. Nothing special. I've had better. Overall, a good experience. Would return for their milkshakes. read more

This burger establishment does fine in terms of its patties and sauces, and it makes me heir burgers memorable when compared to an average fast food place like Wendy's or McDonalds. I ordered the California burger, which has an egg and some delicious mayo spread, while my girlfriend ordered a hamburger add bacon. We split a side of garlic fries, and shared ketchup and spicy mustard. I ended up eating most of the fries because they were really good, although my girlfriend thought them a bit too greasy. They offer shakes that seemed good, I may grab one next time we frequent this establishment. The complimentary water comes from a convenient faucet near the condiments which was easily accessible. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered: salads, tacos, veggie and impossible burgers. Staff is usually friendly. A bit pricey for self-serve and the burgers could be a bit bigger but the salads are ample size and the food consistently good. I like that they avoid plastic and most items are biodegradable. read more

The food is decent but not with the wait. 10 minutes to place the order and 25 waiting for food. Place was busy but far from crowded or packed. I know they say cooked to order but so will be Shake Shack which has much better food and is much quicker. read more

I already love Gott's in the Ferry Building (going back to when they were Taylor's Automatic Refresher) so I'll just touch on the differences here, rather than a full blown review. Food is the same! This is good. Ahi burger is still arguably the best thing on a bun I've had. Garlic fries are still painfully garlic-y. The space is HUGE. You could throw a 500 person concert in here. It's unnecessarily huge, in fact, and makes it feel pretty impersonal. While I love the patios at both the Ferry Building and Oxbow Market locations, I don't love the feel here. The kitchen is behind glass, instead of open, and the scale of the place is impersonal. Since it's very near me, I'll be back, but all things considered, I'd much rather go to Oxbow or Ferry Building locations for the same food in a much more personal and fun atmosphere. read more

We made an order to pick up and it was just delish! My salad was fresh and my husband's burger was so good I (almost) regret not getting one, but the chef salad was so good that I don't mind! We will definitely keep supporting this business! Oh and the prices are great too! read more

Very expensive prices for very just okay food. Lunch for three was around $70. Gott's is making a big gamble here. If all of the people moving into Marin really can afford the million-dollar 1100 square foot 50+ year-old homes, then Gott's is going to be just fine. If people are seriously overextending themselves to afford the overpriced housing, then they likely won't be able to buy an overpriced mediocre hamburger. In which case Gott's will be lucky to hang in for more than a few years. Good luck, everybody! read more

Something has changed since I've last been there pre-covid. Sweet potato fries would have been so good without the spice. I'm Latina and love spice but dang those were spicy! Took away from the enjoyment. The cheese tastes strange and there was much too much bun (that was also stale...I will however give y'all another try because the ambiance is awesome and the staff are friendly. Yay! Thanks Gotts for bringing the impossible burger to Marin. Worth the wait in line for this treat. Not sure why it's a $3 up charge. Is the cost really that much more than the good beef you use? Oh well, for now I'll pay the price and visit often. Expect the ambiance to be loud. I've never visited when it's not full of kids. But there is something charming watching a little league team enjoying soft serve. Nice beer selection too! read more

I tried Gott's for the first time tonight and it was DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I both loved our burgers, and the garlic fries were the best we've had aside from AT&T park. The froses were also a delicious treat during this heat wave. Can't wait to eat here again! read more

Been here twice. Spent 20 minutes in line both times and left. It's comical to have a huge empty restaurant with 10 people eating while 40 people stand in line outside. Logistically it's impossible to ever have the restaurant even half filled. Stupid. They won't survive the first 6 months. Update: drove to in n out, waited in line, ordered and got my food in less time than it would have taken to get to the cash register at Gott's. For 1/4 of the price. Not worth going there. read more

Was not impressed . Burger was just okay and we ordered the fish and chips. Got one small over cooked piece of fish. For just about the same price could have gone to Cheese cake factory and gotten better quality food and had leftovers . Only OK. Went there for dinner last night. The place is HUGE and there are tons of tables. I was encouraged based on the number of people in line and my previous experience at the Ferry Terminal location. But, unfortunately it wasn't the same. Wife had the fish tacos and they came in the tray they serve the fries in. Her comment "that's not alot of food." They were okay otherwise. My son and I had Western Bacon Blue Rings. Okay. Didn't seem as good as I remember from before. Burger patty seemed a bit small and big bun. Perhaps a bit overcooked as well. The good: my son has food allergies and they were sticklers about it and VERY accommodating. This is something that doesn't go unnoticed as not all restaurants get the criticality of this. Gott's clearly takes it seriously. Also, they have great beer on tap - Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. There is actually a bar in the back so it seems they are going for more than just a burger joint vibe. But, the food isn't good enough to justify the cost. Over $110 for 4 people, only 2 of which had alcohol. I will likely head to Super Duper the next time I'm craving a burger and save almost half the cost. read more

So nice to have quality food and service in Marin. Line is long but goes quick, and if the wait is too much you can always sit at the bar in the back and order a glass of wine in the meantime! Once you sit, the staff and General Manager are constantly checking on guests with a great attitude and smile on their face. This isn't an inexpensive experience, but when actually consuming well made organic products from any restaurant, what is cheap? Gott's got it going on during this pandemic. I ordered online, arrived in lot and had perfectly packaged burgers, fries and shake delivered by friendly-eyed foodrunner with mask and gloves. The burgers were yummy, fries crispy and the shake delicious AND using Strauss ice cream. I also adore that they've gone extra distance in sustainable packaging that traveled well. First time here. The young gentleman at the cashier was so helpful and pleasant. My sister and I shared many items. We ordered the cheeseburger- delicious! The Ahi Poke tacos- yummy and loved the tartar sauce that came with it. Onion rings- perfect! Sweet potato fries- good fries but didn't love the chili sprinkle on top. Would have preferred them plain. Fried Brussels sprouts. Good flavor but were in too many individual leaf pieces so a little too greasy. I prefer them halved or even while so you can taste the sprout not just a thin crunchy leaf. The restaurant is huge with a nice bar area and a TV and slot of seating. Since it only opened a week ago it is super busy with a line forming starting around 5:00. I am familiar with their restaurant in St. Helena and the Ferry Terminal San Francisco. Without any doubt the Bon Air location is the most spacious and best looking and has a Wine and Beer Bar. I like Gott's quite a lot. During the COVID business, the location in Greenbrae has become a regular experience. You can call ahead (and pay for) your order, or e-mail it. I phone because e-mail ordering does not currently provide an option to request a veggie patty on the burger. The veggie patty, as opposed to the Impossible Burger on the menu, is a basic Garden Burger which I like just fine; I am not a fan of a veggie patty that imitates meat. (The Impossible Burger is supplanting good veggie burgers at lots of restaurants now, and leaving me behind. I wonder if there is a misperception that veggie burger eaters are craving a meat-like burger. I think, rather, meat lovers are possibly tempted to try them. At any rate, so glad that Gott's provides the option. We veggie burger eaters have been getting along fine the last quarter-century with some fine ones.) Enough about that. My husband LOVES a good beef cheeseburger and he is very satisfied with the one here. It fully meets his cravings. Having put about a dozen orders behind us, my favorite things are the super-friendly and professional service, the best onion rings ever, great condiments (they now sell their ranch dressing), the variety of menu choices, and the overall excellent quality of the food ingredients. Lots of great salads in addition to the burgers, plus tacos and more. Not to mention the shakes (mint chocolate chip!) that are out of my caloric league. On the not so plus side, a few orders have been misses, such as missing avocado on a salad, a salad not dressed, wrong salad dressing, and inconsistency in salad prep, e.g., chopped falafels or will they be whole, plus those brioche buns almost always fall apart halfway through the burger. I gripe because the prices are premium (e.g., burgers are $8-15). Of course, when the food is of necessity take-out, and one is dining from a bag of food in the car in some parking lot, there is not an option to question or send it back, so there is that. I am really looking forward to the time when inside dining can reoccur and I can enjoy this restaurant's spacious interior for a casual dinner. read more

Last night when I & a friend ate here, I had their 2 Baja Fish Tacos. The menu said the fish was "fresh mahi mahi, beer-battered & fried crisp." However, I'm guessing they buy them already battered, or do it at a central location, because they were like armor-coated, & the fish was dry. This is the best fast organic food EVER!! Everyone needs to come here ASAP!! We got sweet potato fries that were spicy with cajon seasoning and garlic fries that were to die for. I got the desear salad that had mary's organic chicken and kale. My husband got the california burger and he said it was juicy and sweet. Whenever visiting a newly opened restaurant in Marin, one would almost always expect to receive service from a staff that is unorganized, untrained, and in total disarray. So when I ordered a hamburger, but was given a Green Chile Burger, I wasn't shocked. I was however shocked by the efficient, swift, and outstanding customer service by one of their employees: I think his name was Alejandro. Although he was brand new (as were all the employees) he maintained a presence of professionalism and went out of his way to correct my order; even though he was busy working the front counter meeting the needs of every single new customer. I tip my hat to Alejandro, and hope that no recruiters receive his impeccable personable skills, because Gott's will be out of an exceptional staff member and future leader. read more

Disappointing food and pricey. Baha fish tacos don't measure up to other places nearby that charge half as much. Husband had shrimp tacos and only got 6 little bay shrimp on a pile of slaw. Slow, pricey and not tasty. Why do people come here? Call me mystified. read more

I've tried Gotts burgers at least 5 times, the first time was good, every time since the buns are cold and the burgers lukewarm. The telephone order takers must laugh when we tell them we want our burgers well done, they are obviously assembly line burgers cooked to one lukewarm temperature with a cold bun. read more
