Joining the membership for just $11 a year turned out to be an amazing value; we received 2 lbs of free shrimp and 300 reward points (equivalent to 1 lb of shrimp) as a welcome gift. Since Tuesdays are Member Days, we also received a complimentary appetizer and 5% cashback, making the membership even more worthwhile. I was especially impressed by the restaurant's sleek, modern interior and remarkably plush seating, which gave the space the feel of an upscale restaurant rather than a typical seafood boil spot. As part of the restaurant's playful concept, every table receives two tokens at the beginning of the meal to play the claw machines. 10/10 -- Definitely Worth the Wait! Yesterday, 8/9/26, we put ourselves on the waitlist in the restaurant, and it estimated about an hour and a half. Thankfully, our wait was actually shorter than expected, which was awesome! Of course, I understand that can't always be expected because they were very busy, and honestly, I'm happy to see the restaurant doing so well. Once we were seated, it did take a little while before we were able to order, and there is definitely a little room for improvement with the timing. However, I'm always willing to be patient, especially knowing they are busy and have new staff. Once our order was placed, it took a bit to come out, but I can honestly say the food was worth the wait! This was our second visit, and both experiences have been a 10/10 for me. Our first visit was amazing from start to finish--even though the lights went out! The staff did an incredible job making everyone feel comfortable and continuing to take care of the customers despite the unexpected situation. On our second visit, once our food arrived, Riza was absolutely on top of everything! She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. Her customer service definitely stood out and made our experience even better. I also really love that they have more options than some of the other crab restaurants we've been to. There's a great variety, and everything we ordered was delicious! And I have to mention the gentleman making the Micheladas, they looked SO good! He was making them look so tempting that I almost wanted one... unfortunately, I don't drink beer! Would I come back to this location again? YES! YES! YES! Just remember to be patient. First off I would like to say the food was very good, my family and I enjoyed the food! Here is the bad part me as a business owner is really upset because I ordered a pitcher of beer and only got 3 cups from the beer so I decided to order a draft beer which was fine only that after a few sips I cut my lip open due to the glass being broken. I notified the waiter about the incident and he let the supervisor know which came up to me and said I am going to give you another beer for free, now this is what really upset me is that there was no incident report written and all they did was give a $20 dollar discount for the bill which gratuity was included and not disclosed when being seated nor is posted anywhere in the restaurant. I really wish the supervisor would've used better judgement and also would have checked to make sure I was ok which he did not do he just said he would have them check the cups and got me the beer and said the beer was free, well yeah I cut my lip on a glass and it needed to be replaced but I would have comped the whole meal and made sure the person was ok. So in my line of business which is general contractor I provide my clients with the best customer service and if something is broken I fix it free of charge regardless of anything and that would have been nice in this occasion. Like is said the food was amazing but the fact that I cut my lip and had blood on the napkin should have triggered the supervisor to write and incident report and try everything to make sure I felt like they cared about the incident, shame on him. One thing we really appreciated was that the snow crab legs were already partially cracked open, making them so much easier to enjoy without spending so much time using a crab cracker. Service from beginning to end was outstanding not only were we greeted quickly shown to our table but our server Lena had all the patience in the world when I switched my order like 3x... Although Lena was super busy she never failed to check on us and what was nice to see that the staff worked as a team we had all different servers coming to offer us refills and to check if we needed anything ... We recently visited Grab A Crab during its soft opening, and we're so happy to have a location closer to us! Might even think about doing a to go order in the future. We ordered three seafood combos and a few kids' meals, and everyone left satisfied. The wait time was very reasonable thanks to the fast, attentive service. I also appreciated how much more spacious this location is compared to the Hacienda location, and the chairs were very comfortable. The food was hot (one combo was spicy ), flavorful, and definitely hit the spot. My only suggestion would be to add a little more sauce to the seafood--it was delicious, but we'd love even more of it. Sorry didn't capture an image as we were so hungry and got right into it. I came in around 6 pm on a Saturday and was welcomed by all the staff. The atmosphere was super dope, they all all the World Cup and baseball games playing as well as good music. I was given two coin for the claw machine and I got a free lobster tail and crab from getting them in the claw machine. That is honestly really cool knowing that a business is willing to give back at no cost to the customer. The food was also amazing came out fast and was hot. Zero complaints from the food. Best service and food great experience it is a cheap for a big families great food great atmosphere servers are very polite and are at your service. I love the family environment that we get. We were seated within 10 minutes and had our food and appetizers within the next 20 minutes, super close to our house that we liven El Monte and super affordable place is very new clean. Besides the food, we got strawberry margaritas, which were also tasteful not too sweet and had the right amount of alcohol in them. My first time ever at Grab a Crab, all I can say is very good service. As I walked in I was greeted very politely and throughout my meal my server was Rachel and she was the sweetest. She was always checking in on me and my brother so kind and definitely made me feel welcomed as a first timer. I really liked their snow crab legs, usually when I order snow crab the texture is kind of mushy but Grab a Crab's snow crab legs was firm and I really appreciated that.
