I can't get past the dirty conditions. Let's start with the front doors which look like they are never cleaned. The floors in the exam rooms are always sticky. Not to mention I lost two animals under dubious circumstances. Heartbreaking. read more

My dogs always enjoy their stay! I frequently call last minute and they have always been accommodating!

Our family member attempted to drop off our dog and regular patient at 11:20am. Upon arrival the family member was told that walk-ins were not accepted and the kennel techs would be too busy on Sunday afternoon for pickup on Sunday so she would need to stay until Monday. The family member called my husband regarding the issue. After hearing that our puppy could not be picked up until Monday, my husband expressed concern about the information presented by the front desk because the policy was not consistent with past boarding experiences or inquiries. Thereafter, my husband passed the phone to me so that I could gain a better understanding of the situation. I asked to speak with Doc, who in most cases I would have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Williams. A Dr. Hornsby, whom we've never met or ever had direct contact with, answered the phone. Contrary to what the person at the front desk mentioned,  he said Grace was now "overbooked" and stated "and you're coping an attitude when I have sick animals to care for?" And hung up the phone in my face. I will note that the call was an international call from Iceland.  At the point my husband expressed frustration only to me directly with inconsistent information presented. I spoke with your associate and never got out of character on the phone or spoke with an attitude. It was with concern as a customer that I stated that our puppy was a longtime customer who we continued to entrust care at Grace after she was underfed and given the incorrect dietary kibble in one instance, yet we continue to patronize Grace Animal Hospital. I am completely disgusted with the fact that not only did the associate lie about an attitude I never had, but a person that is supposed to be of high professional regard, had the audacity to hang up in my face as a customer without hearing any of my concerns or feedback. Having retired medical professionals in my family and years of experience caring for pets with a lifespan as high as 17 years, I have never felt so disrespected by ANY medical professional.  I also take issue with the blatant lie presented to Dr. Hornsby with regards to the conversation I had moments before with the associate, while on what was supposed to be a relaxing time in Iceland. I believe this incident could have been handled in a completely different fashion.  Unfortunately, due to the latest experience with your employed members and their truly unwelcoming nature, our dog will not be returning to Grace Animal Hospital. She has consistently received care from Dr. Williams and boarded while her parents were out of the country. We said never again. I also look forward to sharing the encounter with Mr. Hornsby with my related pet owner associations and affiliates. read more

I Love Dr. Williams! This is a great Animal Hospital, Veterinarian, and Dog Boarding facility! We never have to worry when we bring our dogs to be examined, treated, or even just boarded for the weekend! I trust Dr. Williams with our three fur babies and you can too! The staff loves our pets and we've been with them through all stages of our pets lives from the happiest to the saddest and they have always been nothing but down to earth, educated, and professional! As a new patient with old records in hand, went into exam room front door. A person "girl" took my 85# child out the back door for about 3 minutes, then returned with her. Says all done! No doctor seen! Said she weighed her, checked her, and gave all her annual vaccinations! Really??! $151.00 later, we were out the door. At this point, I have to trust they gave the vaccines. RIP OFF ON PRICE GO ELSEWHERE- CHARGING $700+ for service that costs only $170 by other VETS. Grace caused a skin tag on my dog after taking blood sample and it started to grow larger then the dog started licking it and when I went to bring in to ask them about removal they were going to charge me OVER $700! When the mass was smaller than a dime but had to be removed cause he was licking it and it turned red. I questioned the cost, and then they said they can remove the teeth cleaning and then it was still $500 - INSANE! More than the cost of neuter from his other vet which was less than $200. So went back to old vet Day and Night animal hospital and they were shocked at how Grace was going to charge so high for something they caused I was furious and even told the vet he's nuts - Day and night only charged $170 to remove the mass that GRACE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR. You will get RIPPED off with GRACE - shop around it's not worth the extra BS they charge insane price for same service that should not be crazy price. They only care about ripping you off and masked by the facade of being located downtown. SHAME ON YOU GRACE ANIMAL HOSPITAL! SMH. read more

Getting a dog is a huge decision. Finding a great vet/animal hospital you trust is even harder. My co-worker referred me to Grace's and I decided to give it a try and send my dog there for a weekend when I had to go out of town. I walked in on a Friday and the staff was incredibly friendly. I tried to play it cool like "oh whatever, it's just a dog, he will be fine for the weekend", but yeah, I was totally freaking out. They showed me around, explained the schedule for the dogs, and made me feel comfortable. Their facility was nice and clean, so I walked out of there a little less worried. Fast forward to Monday. I go to pick up my dog and they walk him out with all of his stuff and he's as happy as can be! Ever since then, I bring my dog to Grace's for doggie daycare, overnight boarding and anytime he needs to see the vet (who is great, by the way). They do nail trimming, shots, baths, whatever...and best of all, they can do it all while you're at work and when the dog is having fun in daycare! This is key for anyone who works and can't just take off in the middle of the day. Now, when I look at my pooch and say "Want to go to Grace's?" He freaks out and runs to the door. They must be doing something right! read more

Love that Grace is right behind our condo down town! So convenient and such friendly staff! Our pup was exhausted after spending the day at their Doggie Day Care and we have heard nothing but great things from our neighbors who send their dogs there. They also took great care of our pup when he got sick and we rely on them to clip our pup s's little toe nails. My only complaint is the higher prices than we are used to paying, but I understand bc they have such a convenient location down town. We are lucky to have Grace so close for any and all of our pets needs! read more

Epi, my Jack Russell "terror" mix is a patient of the hospital and goes to daycare there each week. She LOVES it. The staff is so kind and knowledgable and staff members give trustworthy advice. The daycare and medical areas are clean and the prices for care are reasonable. The vet believes in conservative care. Additionally, the hospital is affiliated with the Streetdog Foundation so It's nice to see the folks there taking care of the Foundation and support that effort too. read more

Great Vet with other good services as well. At grace, you can take your dog to doggie day care, get your dog groomed, and board your dog. The people are very friendly and they very quickly learn your name and your dog when you are a regular. Stephanie at the front desk is very friendly and helpful always. I think my only complaint would be their hours, which are 7:30 - 6, sometimes its just tough to get there on a busy day, but other than that, they are a great vet! read more

Grace animal hospital has everything you could possibly need for your puppy. Daycare, boarding, grooming and veterinarian (they will even come and pick your pup up for appointments). We have used every service and have always been happy. We have a goldendoodle, a groomer's nightmare :) and they do a great job (not once have they shaved him down to a bald little puppy). Grace provides excellent service. Dr. Williams is knowledgeable and trustworthy and the staff are sweet and caring. The office is always clean and the food retail area is well organized. Our dogs love to visit the office! They get lots of hugs and pets from the staff, which clearly makes them feel very special. We live nearby and they will actually try to pull us in the direction of Grace when we're out on walks! We occasionally use the daycare service for our high energy dog, and he loves it! We've used the boarding service on a few occasions and the dogs have consistently come home clean and calm. The veterinary care is excellent. One of our dogs requires frequent visits, and I always feel that she is receiving the best care possible! Highly recommended! read more

Good Dr.s I have used them for two of my animals, and they are not above admiting when they do not know what is going on. But they also do not leave you hanging. I had a dog w/ a rare form of cancer presenting in an abnormal way. Dr. Williams told me he did not know, and sent me to Animal Specialist of Memphis. He has also done a great job of treating my other dog for a sever infection and routing check ups w/ letting her breed intimidate or cause any bias. read more

The Staff at Grace Animal Hospital is very nice and friendly. The problem is there is so many new faces and it's very hectic. When I'm there, it appears to be a lot of people in training. It takes too long to see the Veterinarian even if you have made an appointment. Each time I have gone, I have waited 15 to 20 minutes which is a pain when you have a dog that doesn't want to be there in the first place. read more

Dr. Williams and his vet techs, front desk staff, and everyone else behind the scenes are the epitome of amazing vet care. As some backstory, I had a pretty traumatic incident in college when my aging dog decompensated and died in my hometown vet's parking lot. After that, I dreaded going to the vet in the same way lots of people dread hospitals- my heart beat out of my chest, I felt sick, and I was constantly terrified that something was going to go horribly wrong. As a responsible pet owner, I took my pets for checkups, but it was always miserable. Fast forward 10 years- my cat had a weird autoimmune skin condition that had been first misdiagnosed, then mistreated by several other vets. A friend familiar with the Memphis vet community recommended Dr. Williams, and so I took my cat, expecting yet another miserable visit. I was SO wrong. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel so welcome and at home. The waiting room is gorgeous and clean, and all the staff members obviously love animals. We were almost immediately taken back to a room, and the vet techs were incredibly kind and gentle as they got vitals on my terrified cat. Then Dr. Williams showed up. This man is fantastic- the perfect combination of humble and brilliant. He immediately knew what was wrong, had experience treating it, and could give us a very accurate timeline of what to expect. He also very patiently answered my 30 minutes worth of insane/neurotic questions and was phenomenally reassuring. Long story short, my cat was completely healed in just a few weeks, and we've since transferred all of our pets there. I apologize for the long-winded review, but I just want to let anyone else who dreads going to the vet know about how wonderful Grace is. They will make you feel comfortable, confident, and like a part of the team from day one. You couldn't ask for a better group of people to have behind you and your pet. read more
