i just cant belive these people ,the fist thing i said was to ask my insurance if i was cover100% for a bridege ..and they told me the insurace was going to cover it 100%.so i went for it . and today monday 12/12/23 i went for a clean and they told me i have a bill for$525.00 .because the insurance wont cover it .how can you trust a place like that.did they called the insurance NO.THAYS FRAUD . dont go there .they are liar ,all they want is ur money .and i still get pain on the bridge they did. read more

My new favorite dental practice! This place is incredible, they have a new office and it is absolutely beautiful. Feels very stylish and clean and state of the art. Everyone was so nice and helpful. When you walk into your suite, you have a menu to choose items such as a blanket, stress ball, etc. There is a tv above with relaxing waterscapes and beautiful view of the trees outside. I was seen by Dr. Mei, she was very thorough, gentle, kind, and has an excellent bedside manner. I felt extremely calm and cared for. Called for an appointment finally after getting a reference from a friend. We got an appointment within the next week, not expecting that! There was a super easy preregistry process that saved so much time, online forms nothing to complete in the office. I got reminder text messages to help me make sure I got the paperwork done. Then the day finally came, my son was not enthused to have his teeth cleaned, reaaaally nervous about the process. But we we went to see Dr. Kwon and her team today, my son's first even dental experience. It was nothing short of spectacular. The space was both warm and inviting, at the same time that it was modern/clean/interesting for him. The front desk staff were so kind and seemed to really love their work. the lobby was fascinating to my son... but we waited ZERO minutes to be called back, incredible! The care team was so very kind, so patient with him, let him be curious about the process, let him pick the pace, and nothing at all was rushed on him or hurt. He's a tough critic but melted in 5 minutes. By the time Dr. Kwon came in minutes later, my son had melted for his dental hygienist. The whole thing took 20 minutes maybe. It could not have gone better. There were so many extra special thinks that I could see would work for kids of all ages (and therefore work great for parents). 1.) awesome genuinely kind and patient staff 2.) striking entrance with the tree/library/media area draws you right in 3.) the coolest interactive light panels 4.) the TVs in the ceiling 5.) the funnest post cleaning toy option that took me back to my childhood! 6.) ideal kid specific send home dental care items. Because of lots of positive reviews, I decided to try Grace Dental. However, I'd like to share my negative experience with them. First, I found the practice dated and the dentist's care below average compared to the dozen+ dentists I've seen. In the Bay Area, I personally received more attention from the dentist at Smilecraft Redwood City/MTV which also has a more modern office. The particular reason why I gave such a low star rating though is because the front office consistently dismissed me. When I finished my visit, I kindly asked for and was told that I could have a copy of my xrays for my personal health records. I was never sent them, and then my multiple emails were ignored. I ended up spending a week and having to call multiple times before finally receiving them. I hope other patients read this and hopefully avoid the lost time and frustration I personally experienced. read more

I was beyond impressed with Grace Dental today- had a cleaning and new patient exam with them today!! 1) the office is so clean - modern- up to date and comfortable!! I appreciate small details and they had things like phone chargers for patients in the lobby and a list of ways to make you more comfortable like neck pillows back pillows eye masks etc. so cool. 2) The front staff were seriously friendly and so helpful! . I want to be friends with all of them and they were so kind- I heard them helping an elderly patient with his schedule when he was confused and loud in the waiting room and they were cool calm and collected it was awesome to experience and witness. What a great group of front staff !!!!!!!! Oh and the I take forms were online too!! Saved a lot of time and really efficient! 3) I had Katherine as my hygienist. She was the best hygienist I have had in 10 years of living in CA. SO fast and gentle - super professional and friendly!! She made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions about flossing and teeth whitening and demonstrated answers with showing me instead of just telling me. I plan on making sure Katherine is my teeth clean go-to for as long as I am in CA!!!!! 4) last bit not least I saw Dr Kwan who was warm, inviting and genuinely cared about getting to know me and my teeth!! I was impressed that he not only looked at the surrounding structures of my mouth (TM joint and tissue integrity) but also had really progressive and state of the art equipment to take Mini mouth and teeth selfies and show me what he was referring to. SO cool! He actually sat down with me and got to know me as a person. This is something to be valued in any health care setting! I come from an east coast family of dentists and orthodontists and it's rare for me to speak up about dental offices bc most are status quo but I was SO impressed!!!!!! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with the staff that were super friendly! Checked in for a check up due to a tooth ache, and Dr. Kwon diagnosed that it was almost a root canal. He briefed me through the steps he was going to take and the procedures that he was going to perform and everything was straight forward. The assistant, Becca, was super friendly as she greeted me and brought me into the room to do scans and giving me more information about the procedures while addressing the concerns I may had. I am highly satisfied and would recommend anyone to come here if they want to feel great satisfaction while receiving great customer service. I recently visited Dr Kang for a routine cleaning that was long overdue because of COVID-19. I think they've done a wonderful job adapting the office and procedures to ensure safety with instruction prior (via email and text) and during the visit so you know what to expect. Everyone was PPE'd up and they actually took care as to what patients touched and what they touched for the patient and staff safety. The cleaning and dental care was also awesome as usual. It's not really fun to go to the dentist but knowing that I am going to Dr. Eric makes the whole big difference. I actually had a problem with my previous dentist where I got a shot (local anesthetic) and I couldn't feel a big part of my tongue for almost 6 months!! That was so scary! So I looked up Grace Dental on Yelp and the reviews were so helpful. On my first visit, I explain what has happened and my tongue problem to Dr. Eric and he was amazing in the way that he explained everything and he put me at ease while I was so scared. Dr. Eric is a great person, you would really enjoy talking to him and completely forget that you're about to get drills in your mouth!! This was going to be my first appointment here. I made the appointment about 4 weeks ago then I get a call less than 24 hours before my appointment telling me they're canceling because of their "upcoming move." I can understand if it's a difficult time but then why would you schedule me in the first place and wait to cancel until so close to my appointment. They then gave me a number to call back to reschedule and I called all day (during their hours), and no one ever answered. I then get like 5 emails saying "we're sorry that you canceled" as if I was the one to cancel the appointment. I gave up and I'm going somewhere else. read more

However, I finally decided to be responsible and make an appointment with Grace Dental since it's near my work. Prior to Grace, I was going to the same dentist since I was a toddler. My first appointment with Grace Dental was wonderful! The receptionist Rachel made scheduling over the phone a breeze, confirmed my appointment the day before, and warmly greeted me as soon as I got in the door. Irina, the dental assistant, gave me a short tour of the office and helped me with x-rays and photos of my teeth. Dr. Nimi asked me about any concerns I had prior to starting my exam, made a couple of suggestions, walked me through each step of the process, and explained the reasoning behind everything she was doing. She continued to ask me if I had any questions during the exam as well to make sure I wasn't confused about anything she had gone over. Although it was my first time there, the entire staff made me feel very welcomed and comfortable! I can confidently say that this was the best dental experience I've had so far.
