    Sushi Sashimi combo
    Gregory B.

Grace is a mixture of hibachi and other Japanese items. I only had the sushi. It wasn't bad, but it really did not stand out. Perhaps that is how sushi is here in Ocala. I am not sure. Service was standard, so nothing good or bad to say about that either. Ambiance is interesting and it is almost like two restaurants in one. One is a sit down Japanese place, with sushi and the other is a hibachi grill. I caught a bit of the show walking out, just being curious, and did not see anything you won't get anywhere else. It was also surprising to see the entire restaurant full, except the hibachi grill. I will say this is much better than an experience I had earlier this week on the way to Florida, where the sushi tasted old.

We were greeted by Brian very nice friendly gentleman. Kai did the hibachi show. He was very entertaining and funny. We will be back great food and fun.

Dinner for six, four of whom were 12 or 13 years old and about to perform at the Marion All County Band concert, was great. The food was fast and very tasty. Five teriyaki bento boxes and a salmon/chicken hibachi dinner. Band kids talk. A lot. And loudly. Refills on drinks would have been nice, but... Grace Japanese Steakhouse on Maricamp Road was a nice outing.

We were continuing our exploration of sushi spots in Ocala and decided to try this place out. On a weeknight, it was pretty busy still, but we were able to get a table without a problem. They have a dining room with regular tables and then a separate area for the hibachi. It looked like people were enjoying the hibachi show. Since we were on a mission to eat sushi, we went with the regular tables. The menu has a very extensive list of rolls, all pretty reasonably priced. We ordered the following: Yellowtail scallion, salmon, eel/avocado, futomaki, tokyo, and mermaid rolls. My husband really liked his yellowtail scallion. We both liked the tokyo and mermaid rolls, mermaid was our favorite though as the mango added a nice bright pop of flavor. The futomaki roll was okay, it didn't have as many ingredients inside as some other restaurants have. We also got the salmon, yellowtail, and tuna nigiri. They were all pretty decent. Overall a solid place to get some sushi if you're in the area.

I had a great meal from Chef Eddy. Filet and Shrimp with talented chef. Noodles and rice were great also.

Whether lunch or dinner, hibachi table or booth, I always enjoy eating here. Always good, friendly service, very chill atmosphere, and the food is really good. I love their clear soup, deep fried cheesecake, chicken hibachi, and their bento boxes. The ginger dressing for the salad is also pretty good, although I prefer the soup option. Will continue to go back!

Let's start by saying I'm a vegan. I purposely ordered tofu hibachi and an avocado roll like I usually do from other similar restaurants. Tonight I was shocked to see I piece of chicken buried in my dinner. Ended up tossing the rest out because I couldn't get passed the chance that there were smaller pieces remaining. How does an animal meat end up in a tofu dish? God I hope it wasn't left over from someone else's plate!!!! Ugh!!!

Celebrating one's mother properly can sometimes be difficult to do, and I wanted everything to feel thoughtful, elegant, and memorable. Steve, the manager, played an important role in making that happen, and I remain sincerely grateful for his kindness and attention to detail. Although our party was only three, we were given a beautiful table in the back that felt private, comfortable, and perfectly suited for the evening. We still enjoyed the lively energy from the nearby bar while having a quieter space of our own to celebrate. It struck the ideal balance between atmosphere and intimacy. Hailey was our primary server and was training George that evening, which meant we benefited from the care of two attentive and friendly servers. Service moved smoothly throughout the night and never felt rushed. The food was, for the most part, delicious, with steaks and dishes that reflected the restaurant's reputation for quality. There was one minor issue with my own steak, which had more butter than I would have preferred, but it was far too small a matter to overshadow the purpose of the night. What mattered most was seeing my mother genuinely happy and enjoying herself. That meant the world to me, and to her as well. My thanks to Steve, Hailey, George, and the Remington's team for helping create a birthday celebration I will remember with gratitude... and so will my mother.

I think the food was superior and the staff was great behind the bar. I do love the decor as it is very much equestrian in a classy way. As for the waitstaff in the restaurant, a bit more training on the menu might be advised. When asking for a recommendation I was recited the entire menu. Really??? The host was less than personable. This is the first and usually the last person to greet and thank their customers. Neither occurred when I was there. I have been there three times. I plan on going back again. I hope this time they will have beer for my brother as that is all he drinks. Maybe some local or specialty ones. The noise level was high all three times I was there. That can only be helped by doing something with the acoustics and adding sound dampeners. I look forward to giving them another try. I am hoping the host station will improve as well as the training of the waitstaff. I hope they are around for a long time and I wish them much luck.

We made a reservation for 3 PM but when we arrived, it didn't look like a reservation was needed since there were a few empty tables. Our server presented us their menu, with a Valentine's Day special menu insert. We already checked out their menu online so we pretty much knew what we wanted to order. We started with the Calamari Fritto ($17). Reading how their Maiale Osso Buco ($32) is their standout menu item, that's what I ordered. My wife was going to order off the regular menu but pivoted to the Ravioli di Aragosta ($35) upon seeing the special menu. We were served freshly baked rolls topped with toasted garlic and accompanied by an olive oil dipping sauce. That was yummy. The calamari was well prepared, flavorful, tender and not rubbery. My wife liked her ravioli, commenting how the pasta was perfectly cooked. It was accompanied by 5 pieces of large shrimp. My dish lived up to the billing as their best dish! One of the wait staff even commented how it's the best dish on the menu. Tender and juicy meat accompanied by creamy, well seasoned risotto. The portions were also quite generous that I had to take some leftovers home. Oh yeah, like any good restaurant, the wait staff puts your leftovers in a container instead of diners having to do so themselves. Always appreciated! Service was on point and the ambience was equally nice...although located along Silver Springs Blvd/Hwy 40, traffic noise can be heard inside. Dinner for 2 came out to just under $120 with tip. We'll be back.

I was with my in-laws, and we were looking for a place to eat dinner in downtown while waiting for some other family to join us. It seems like on Mondays, there is not a ton open in the downtown Ocala area in terms of restaurants. This makes sense, but we chose to eat here primarily because it was open on a Monday, along with recommendations from those I was with. They had eaten here before, but it was my first time. The restaurant is located on a corner in downtown Ocala, near the square. Since it is in the city, there is no dedicated parking beyond what you find on the street. However, I have never had an issue finding parking in the general area when visiting this part of town, so unless it is a crowded evening or special event, you should have no issues. When we arrived, it was still early in the evening and we had no issue getting a table. As the night progressed, more people started coming in for their Bachelor viewing party. It seems like this draws a big crowd. They even announced that they were doing giveaways and other fun activities for the series season finale the following week. I imagine they hold other types of events as well, so that might be something to look out for if you are planning on stopping. We sat at a table near the front, and waited a couple minutes for the server to come by. She was, honestly, somewhat aggressive and not very kind. I tried to order a beer on the menu, and she went to make sure it wasn't out of stock. Then, I asked her about the Monday special on the menu, and she acted like she never even heard of it before. She stated that she didn't normally work on Mondays, but the manner in which this was communicated made it feel like it was my fault for inquiring about this. I ended up having a Garage Beer on tap, and it was serviceable. I also wanted to order the advertised $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries special, and got the D-Nice Way Grilled Cheese with this. I actually very much enjoyed the grilled cheese, but the fries were the star of the plate. They were crispy and crunchy, but not very thin. I had never had a fry quite like that! Would highly recommend giving them a try here at least once. Our food came out in a reasonable timeframe after we ordered. It was not too quick, but did not take forever, either. Besides what I mentioned previously, I was satisfied with the other service received. I thought the prices here, in general, were fair and on par with other restaurants that are similar. They run different specials during different days of the week, as outlined on the menu. For example, Monday is supposed to be $10 Grilled Cheese and Fries. I ordered this, but I am not confident I got it for this price. Someone I was with paid the bill, but the waitress did not seem to be aware of what this special actually was. So, if you are wanting to order a special, I would explicitly say that when ordering to be sure you get it. Overall, I enjoyed the vibes and the food at this place. It seems like they have activities several nights a week to bring in different crowds, along with specials on food and drinks. The service left a lot to be desired, as our waitress was not very friendly nor knowledgeable on the specials. I would be willing to give this another try, but hopefully with a different waitress.
