They have so many Asian snacks. Any viral ice cream. They got it. They have homemade Korean and Japanese food. It's a nice small market.

This place is such a hidden gem. When I saw it was inside an Asian market, I was immediately sold and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly and the food was absolutely DELICIOUS. I would eat this again 100x. Star of the show for me was the kimchi fried rice and the shumai, but all of it was amazing. The spice just about took my girlfriend out, but I found it to be the perfect amount of hot. 10/10, no notes.

Amazing hidden gem. We love all their food choices. The kitchen in the back is even more amazing! We catered Kim chi fried rice for a party and they did an amazing job! Will be coming back to them again!

I love Grace Market! My coworkers have brought me food from there many times, and I've always wanted to visit the store myself. In the past two weeks, I've been there about three times just for their cooked food, especially the japchae and kimchi BBQ--both of which I could easily eat every day. The store also offers a wide variety of Korean and Japanese items, including containers of homemade kimchi, instant ramen, and bakery treats. I'm so glad to have Grace Market here in Wichita! The staff is also very friendly.

Just got done eating the food here, I stopped by every time I come to visit my parents it's a gem of a restaurant the owners are really nice that I highly recommend if you ever come here to eat. My daughter killed her bulgogi she loves it! It's good start on full stomach driving back to Houston. Definitely 20 stars if I could give it but it's a 10 for sure!! Thank you to the lovely family running this place!

Seafood kimbap, bulgogi kimbap. Freshly made every day, $7.99 to grab and go. (This is two orders in the picture).

Still a big fan, whenever I'm in the area I try and stop in and get a few things. They have fridges full of fresh food like kimchi of all sorts, they have a small restaurant in the back, and as the picture shows, kimbap freshly made every day and ready to grab off the counter.

One of the worst Korean BBQ experiences I've come across…read more With my party of 4 and visiting the city, we were first timers to KPOT. We were informed it was a BBQ/Hot pot establishment, but had the option on choosing one of the two options. My group requested just BBQ and we were given an iPad to order. I did not see appetizers besides white rice and asked our server if there were appetizers. Our server mumbled a response, which I believed was only hotpot was given appetizers. After some time, I walked over to the hotpot area, but people having just BBQ were also eating the appetizers as well. I asked our server again and was given an annoyed face with a "yes." The lack of communication was one thing, but the rudeness was off-putting and ruined the vibe. The meat quality and other food options were fine, but that doesn't help the dine in experience if the staff doesn't care; don't want to visit this place again.

This place is FIRE!!! If you are reading this and you are very hungry; eat here now!…read more To all my peoples in Wichita -- Let me help deconstruct the matter so it makes a little bit more sense. So as most of you know, Korean BBQ has been trending all over the world and it's been a fanfare for many years now. And for those of you who are unfamiliar with KBBQ and AYCE -- these acronyms stand for Korean BBQ and All You Can Eat. Disclaimer: you will smell like charcoal smoke so be advised not to wear your Balenciaga cashmere sweater! Haha, next, in the world of KBBQ, we grill our own food so it's hot off the press and fresh in your tummy. Secondly, hot pot is known in Japanese culture as Shabu Shabu -- meaning, Ghengis Khan used to cook live cattle meat with veggies in a ginormous wok, so he can feed all of his soldiers during their Mongolian conquest when it was freezing cold out. So put 1 + 1 together (KBBQ + HOT POT) and you get this beautiful hybridization known as KPOT. This concept is trending all over California because for one; when you have a ravenous appetite, this place will suffice and two; during a freezing cold February stretch, KPOT will warm you up just like it did Ghengis Khan and all of his soldiers during the harsh Siberian winters. I come from a place called Koreatown Los Angeles, where we take Korean BBQ to new heights each and every year. And let me tell all of you Wichitans something; you have no clue how good this restaurant is on a metric of good to greatest from California to New York. You guys have a 5% Asian population here and yet, you have restaurants like KPOT, KyuRamen and Kimchi. How spoiled you are here in Kansas! Wichita is so beautiful BTW and your food and beef quality is superb. Thank you Kansas! You fed me so well during my stay. I leave for Cali in the morning. Going going back back to... you know the rest :)

We came in as a party of five at 8:30pm, fully aware they close at 9. We ordered quickly and respectfully, excited to enjoy one of my favorite dishes: the chicken katsu. I've raved about it to friends, especially the generous portions--normally two large, pounded-out chicken breasts per order. But tonight was a different story. We ordered a bibimbap, 10 wings, a roll, gyoza, a child's katsu, tempura and two chicken katsu meals (close to $20 each). For our katsus instead of full portions, it was obvious the kitchen split one order between both plates--then handed the scraps to the child's meal, which we were told would be "half" an adult size. It wasn't even close. Not only was the portion insulting, but the food wasn't fresh. The chicken was dry, overcooked, and hard as a rock. I couldn't even bite through one piece--I had to spit it out. When we brought it up, they offered 10% off. Honestly, that felt like a slap in the face. I had just convinced people to come here based on how good this meal used to be, and instead I ended up apologizing to my guests for bringing them here and still paid for meals we weren't fully served. If you were low on chicken, in a rush to close, or just had a lazy cook that night--own it. Don't try to pass off a single meal as two. That's not just disappointing--it's dishonest. This experience was a joke. And if that's how regulars get treated, I will regular no more.

The sushi was wrapped really loosely and fell apart while I picked it up with chopsticks. My husband's beef teriyaki was good and he had no qualms on the flavor but again presentation was a little messy. Service was good. They refilled our waters and soda without issue. The food came out sporadically and was not sent out together, which left my husband waiting to eat while my food got cold (crispy rice) and then warm (sushi), respectively. Ambiance was dark and moody. Like hard to see dark; there was not enough light from the tiny candle on the table to make up for it. I get the vibe but I would opt for more light overall. The decorations on the walls were tasteful. The overhead lighting felt like they raided the outdoor patio light section of Lowe's when it was clearance in the seasonal garden section. The Tiber on the walls was nice but again felt a bit DIY. My biggest issue was with the tableware. I understand that disposable chopsticks are easier than reusable ones but honestly it would have elevated the meal a lot for me. I know it's picky but for the vibe and location it seems like it would have been an easy add.

B/c it's a bit time consuming to make, a lot of Korean restaurants, esp ones that don't specialize in this dish, might make it from a package. I do the same, but since Grace Market has new ownership, I've been hard pressed to find my noodles. A friend told me about KC, so I gave it a shot. It's a tiny grocery store run by one little woman. She was very helpful and helped me quickly find my noodles along with a few other items (they sell mentaiko)! I think the prices were fair enough, and the place itself was clean. I'm pretty upset that I didn't find this place earlier, though. Apparently, she used to make naengmyeon FROM SCRATCH and served it at her store. I've already told you how frickin' difficult that is to find....and in the Midwest? Forget it! She made other items too in her little kitchen in the back...or used to. Apparently, a customer saw that she was cooking in her store and reported her to the fire department. She was not to code (no hood or something like that), so they told her that til she modified things, she was not allowed to cook there. Of course, she does not have the money to do so, so that's that. To the concerned citizen: Hi, lovely not to have met you. I imagine you're one of those follow-the-rules-off-the-cliff types. Nothing wrong with that. The world needs ppl like you to keep it in line. However, you came between me and my noodles. Now I'm back to instant, packaged B grade stuff. *Sigh*
